Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 Raikou: Humans are all treacherous and untrustworthy!

Another 5 Shock Points?

Now it was Fuyuki's turn to be shocked.

He thought obtaining this item might be difficult, but he hadn't expected it to be so easy!

And Entei seemed to be responding to his actions, licking his face again with its tongue.

Fuyuki, his face covered in saliva, quickly pushed Entei's face away, refusing the big cat's licking.

Seeing this, Entei stopped licking its fur. It closed its eyes, intending to continue resting and conserving its energy until Little One finished resting before they continued their journey.

But the next second, Entei felt Little One come closer and kiss its forehead.

Entei opened its eyes, belatedly realizing that Little One seemed to be playing with it?

Entei didn't know how to react. It had never raised cubs before, and had never had this kind of experience.

Previously, it had always been busy running around, fulfilling its duty as Ho-Oh's guard, rescuing Pokémon trapped in snares.

It looked at the little creature before it, then instinctively licked its fur.

Fuyuki: "..."

This time, Entei didn't provide him with any shock points, which was understandable; after experiencing it once, Entei probably wasn't as shocked anymore.

This body was too young, and after playing for a while, Fuyuki felt a little tired.

It obediently snuggled into Entei's warm embrace, then closed its eyes and began to sleep.

Fuyuki wasn't worried about encountering danger or being attacked by wild Pokémon; after all, as a legendary Pokémon, Entei's strength was considerable.

A wave of drowsiness washed over it, and before long, Fuyuki drifted off to sleep.

Seeing the little creature asleep, Entei began licking its fur again.

Only after the little creature was clean and tidy again did it stop.

A gentle breeze blew by, and amidst the slowly falling autumn leaves, Entei clearly felt its heart gradually filling up.

Fuyuki slept for a long time.

When he awoke, he found himself still nestled in Entei's arms.

Entei was already awake, several plump berries laid out before it.

Seeing Fuyuki open its eyes, Entei slowly sat up and nudged the berries towards him with its paw pads.

Fuyuki didn't refuse, happily eating one berry, and then the two continued their journey.

Fuyuki didn't know where Entei was taking him, but as long as he was by Entei's side, he felt safe.

With food, water, and no danger, Fuyuki was finally able to calm down and observe this strange yet familiar Pokémon world from Entei's back.

Caterpie crawling on tree trunks, Butterfree flitting through the forest, Pidgeotto soaring through the sky, Beedrill with its strong territorial instincts…

And so, time passed day by day.

Unbeknownst to them, the man and his Pokémon left the forest and entered a vast, rolling mountain range.

The types of Pokémon inhabiting this area had also undergone a dramatic change.

The Caterpie, Butterfree, and Oddish that were common in the forest were nowhere to be seen, replaced by swarms of Geodude, Sandshrew, and Nidoran.

Only by being there could one truly appreciate how vast and magnificent this world was.

Fuyuki's eyes were filled with longing. If it weren't for his age, he would definitely take out a Poké Ball and catch a few of his favorite Pokémon.

Of course, all of this was impossible.

After all, he still needed someone to take care of him.

That day, as the man and his Pokémon were crossing a mountain peak, Fuyuki suddenly saw lightning flashing in the sky ahead.

Faintly, roars could be heard coming from that direction.

Entei seemed to sense something; it stopped and looked up.

Fuyuki was somewhat confused, but when he looked up, he saw a lithe figure riding terrifying lightning slowly approaching from a distance.

It was a Pokémon resembling a saber-toothed tiger, covered in golden fur, with strong limbs and sharp fangs.

Like Entei, this Pokémon had a black steel headdress covering its forehead, nose, and mouth, beneath which were X-shaped blue whiskers.

Behind the Pokémon, a light blue, lightning-shaped tail crackled.

The moment it appeared, its gaze locked onto Entei and Fuyuki on its back.

Fuyuki instantly felt a powerful pressure sweeping towards him.

That Pokémon was… Raikou! At this moment, Raikou's body surged with immense lightning, each step releasing a wisp of blue electricity.

Closer…

The instant Raikou reached Entei, Fuyuki felt an overwhelming pressure, unique to beasts, enveloping his entire body, causing him to instinctively tighten his grip on Entei beneath him.

Entei sensed the little one's unusual behavior. Its brow furrowed, its tone stern and imposing:

"Enough, Raikou."

Raikou's gaze shifted from Fuyuki, its tone icy.

"What are you doing? Why did you bring a human cub back to the Mount Tensei territory this time?!"

"His parents died protecting Pokémon. As Pokémon, we have a duty to care for their offspring!" Entei said gravely.

It wasn't explaining to Raikou, but stating a fact.

"You're raising a weapon to threaten us!" Raikou had witnessed too many instances of humans harming Pokémon, and thus harbored a deep-seated aversion and distrust towards humans.

Even though the other person was still a child.

Raikou's tone was full of warning: "Humans are all treacherous and untrustworthy!"

"Little One is different." Entei naturally understood Raikou's situation. It didn't want to argue with Raikou, but simply shook its head in a deep voice, saying, "This matter is none of your concern."

Raikou coldly glanced at Fuyuki. Seeing Entei's obvious protective attitude towards this human, it snorted coldly, then moved aside and walked straight ahead, leaving only one sentence behind.

"Hmph, I hope you won't regret the decision you made today."

Little One was so obedient, so dependent on it, how could it be like other humans? Entei couldn't help but think.

The three members of the Ho-Oh's Guard each had their own missions and tasks. They would only join forces to fight enemies when faced with some insurmountable crisis.

Under normal circumstances, they wouldn't interfere with each other.

Therefore, Raikou only gave a few warnings before leaving on its own.

Entei didn't pay any attention to it either. It firmly believed in its heart that its Little One was different.

More importantly… Entei raised his head, his gaze piercing through the mist-shrouded mountains before finally settling on the highest and most magnificent peak.

They had arrived at their destination, Mount Tensei.
