Jimin blinked for a second. The chopstick slipped from his hand and hit the table.
He paused, then calmly picked it up.Without looking at me, he reached for an egg and started peeling it slowly.
He broke the shell carefully, like he was thinking too much.
When he finally lifted the egg and moved it toward my mouth
Yoongi leaned in and ate it.
Just like that.
My eyes widened.
What is wrong with him????
"Yahhhhh, Yoongi!"
I hit his back hard.
He laughed, holding his stomach.
"Why? I was hungry."
Jimin didn't laugh.
He stared at the empty chopsticks.
Then he bit his lip hard, his jaw tightening like he was holding something back.
Someone cleared their throat.
The girl who said my lip was smudged at the first day of School stood there.
She was pretty.
Clear skinSoft eyes.
Her hair was tied neatly, and a small kit bag crossed her chest.
"Hi," she said politely.
"I'm Minju."
She smiled lightly.
"Can I join your group?"
"Uh…"
I hesitated at first but she was nice and kind
"Yes," I nodded.
She thanked me and adjusted her bag before sitting beside Jimin.
The bell rang not long after.
School was over Students started leaving.Yoongi stood up first.
"I' take my leave," he said, glancing at me. He left.
I packed my bag too.
"I need to return a book to the library," I said.
Jimin nodded.
When I turned back
Only Jimin and Minju were left.
*****
Outside, Jimin stopped beside his bike.
"Take," he said, handing Minju a helmet.
She hesitated.
"oh thanks"
"Yeah," he replied.
She put it on and climbed on.
Her hands rested lightly on his waist.
They rode off.
He stopped in front of his house.
Her house was right across the street closer to his.
She got down and handed the helmet back. Then she opened her bag.
"I noticed earlier," she said softly.
"You were bleeding."She took out a small, cute bandagethe kind with tiny designs on it.
Before he could react, she leaned closer and gently placed it on the corner of his lip.
Her fingers brushed his skin.
"There," she smiled.
"Be careful next time."
"Bye."
She walked away quickly, holding her bag, not looking back.
Jimin stood there.
Still.
