"Meow… meow."
Tang padded toward him.
"Achoo!"
He sneezed once… then again.
"Tang," I called softly the moment I heard the second sneeze.
Allergic to cats.
Tang immediately turned back and jumped onto the bed.
After bathing and changing my clothes, I came out to the living room.
Jimin was already walking around, looking at everything curiously.
"You live alone?" he asked.
"Yes," I answered.
He nodded slowly, as if understanding more than I said.
Then he grabbed his motorcycle keys.
We left.
*****
At School
The moment we reached the floor, Jimin excused himself.
"Someone probably called him," I thought.
When I entered the classroom
Yoongi wasn't there.
Instead, I was greeted by them.
Those stupid girls.
Those stupid boys.
A piece of paper flew and hit my shirt.
I didn't even need to look to know it was Eunwoo.
And Winter was definitely behind it.
Still angry about the ball incident.
"So… is she dating Jimin or Yoongi?" someone asked loudly, trying to get my attention.
"She hangs out with Jimin more often, so...."
"Or is she having a threesome?"
"Maybe she's cheating."
Winter's face turned red.
So red it looked like it might burst.
I hissed quietly and ignored them.
My relationship with anyone was none of their business.
But my mind suddenly went blank.
The assignment.
Oh no.
I hadn't submitted it.
If I don't submit …
I stood up, grabbed my book, and ran out of the classroom.
I ran down the stairs until I reached the teachers' office.
I peeked through the window.
Yoongi was inside talking to Mr. Kim Ku.
All the assignment books were already on the table.
Oh shit.
How was I supposed to submit mine now?
If Mr. Kim Ku saw me, that was detention for sure.
Jimin appeared beside me.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"Have you submitted your assignment?" I whispered urgently.
"I lost my book," he said casually. "Probably left it at home."
Why did I even ask him?
"My book," I muttered. "If I don't submit it, I'm dead."
Yoongi stepped out of the office.
"Your notebook is missing," he said quietly.
"Does he know?" I asked.
He shook his head.
Relief… but panic followed immediately.
"How do we submit it?" I whispered.
*****
Jimin came up with a plan.
He didn't even call Yoongi's name.
Yoongi would distract Mr. Kim Ku.
Jimin would walk in and talk to him.
I'd slip in and drop the notebook.
The hook was Jimin.
The plan started.
Yoongi and Jimin walked into the office from different sides.
I held my breath.
Then I rushed in, dropped the book, and rushed out.
Just as we were leaving
Winter stood in front of us.
Short skirt.
Tight top.
She had everything I never did.
"Yoongi," she said sweetly, grabbing his hand.
"I want to talk to you."
.She smiled at me.
Her eyes sparkled victory.
Yoongi didn't react.
He didn't pull away either.
Was she trying to make me jealous?
"Oppa," she said softly, holding his arm.
Jimin grabbed my hand.
We walked away.
*****
They went to the next floor.
Alone.
"What do you want?" Yoongi asked coldly.
"My father wants to invite you over," she said. "To our house."
"Not going," he replied, pulling his hand away.
"Why don't you talk to me anymore?" she asked sharply.
"Because of that poor girl?"
Yoongi's eyes darkened.
She flinched she had never seen that look before.
"That 'poor girl' is my girlfriend," he said firmly.
"Girlfriend?" she laughed.
"A girlfriend you barely talk to? While Jimin flirts with her openly?"
Yoongi sighed.
"She's my girlfriend," he said calmly."That doesn't mean I control her life."
"Jimin takes her to school. Jumps fences with her. Goes to the playground with her," she snapped.
"And you? You only call her your girlfriend."
