Chapter 39 - CLONES AT THE ARCHITECTS

After the Devourer's disappearance, the world had finally returned to calm. The sky was clear again, the planet stable, and the immense pressure that had once weighed on reality had faded.

But Raiyen knew the story was not finished.

Standing on the surface of Earth, he remained perfectly still. The Limiter Rings around his arms were active as always, ensuring that even the smallest trace of uncontrolled power would never harm the planet he was protecting. His Rinnega Eyes were closed, his presence quiet and controlled.

Before him stood three identical figures.

Three versions of Raiyen, each carrying the same presence, the same soul weight, and the same restraint.

From the shadows beside him, Korrin watched with concern.

"This is risky," she murmured. "Even a single mistake could cause a disaster."

Raiyen didn't look worried.

"Mistakes happen when plans are incomplete," he replied calmly. "Mine isn't."

At the same moment, the three Raiyen bodies moved.

Space folded around them without any dramatic distortion, and in the blink of an eye they vanished from Earth's surface.

They reappeared instantly at the entrance of the Architects' headquarters, a hidden domain that existed beyond normal layers of reality.

The original Raiyen remained where he was, silently observing through the subtle connection that bound him to his other bodies. His role was simple—maintain Earth's safety while the others carried out the mission.

The moment the clones stepped inside the structure, their awareness spread through the environment.

Three powerful presences immediately registered within the vast chamber.

Three Architects.

Without speaking, each Raiyen moved toward one of them.

When the Architects finally saw the three identical figures approaching, shock spread across their faces.

"Multiple signatures…?" one of them said in disbelief.

They examined the presences carefully, searching for deception.

But there was none.

The soul resonance was real.

Each Raiyen carried the full weight of a true existence.

For a few seconds, no one moved. The three clones simply stood there, their stances steady, their presence so heavy that the air itself seemed to vibrate around them.

Finally, one of the Architects spoke.

"How are you doing this?"

The Raiyen standing before him answered calmly.

"The rules aren't yours anymore," he said. "And we came for answers."

Another Architect shook his head slowly.

"This is impossible."

The second Raiyen stepped forward slightly.

"Impossible," he said quietly, "only exists for those who never learned patience."

The third Architect decided to test them.

Without warning, chains of conceptual energy and floating spheres of compressed force appeared around the chamber, moving to bind the three intruders.

The reactions were instant.

Each Raiyen moved differently, yet with equal precision—sidestepping attacks, redirecting the chains, dissolving the energy spheres before they could stabilize. Not a single wall or structure within the headquarters was damaged.

Watching from Earth, Korrin whispered in disbelief.

"Every one of them… completely real… completely capable…"

But Raiyen simply watched in silence.

Inside the headquarters, the clones did not attack.

Instead, they observed.

Their awareness quietly mapped the structure—its weak points, its layered defenses, and the subtle distortions woven into the Architects' domain. The Limiter Rings ensured their power never spilled beyond what was necessary.

The Architects were beginning to understand the danger.

"This isn't a human," one of them muttered. "This is potential itself… given form."

"And we underestimated it," another added grimly.

The three Raiyen bodies slowly stepped forward again.

The pressure in the chamber increased.

It wasn't force—it was presence.

The entire headquarters trembled faintly as if reality itself was reacting to their approach.

From Earth's surface, the original Raiyen briefly opened his Rinnega Eyes, observing the situation from afar. Threads of cause and effect stretched between the clones and the Architects, forming a perfectly timed pattern.

"This isn't an attack," he murmured quietly.

"It's awareness."

Back in the chamber, one of the Architects attempted a different tactic. His mind pushed outward, attempting to bend the thoughts of the clones and rewrite their perception.

The attempt failed instantly.

The echoes of Raiyen's soul within each body resisted the manipulation, while the Limiter Rings stabilized their mental state.

The three Raiyen figures took another synchronized step forward.

The Architects raised their defenses instinctively.

Then the first Raiyen spoke.

"We ended the Devourer."

His voice carried through the chamber like a quiet verdict.

"Now it's your turn to answer."

The second Raiyen continued.

"Explain its presence."

The third finished.

"Explain why Earth was manipulated… and why you failed to maintain balance."

For the first time since their existence began, the Architects hesitated.

They had always controlled the system.

Now the pressure came from outside it.

Suddenly, the chamber erupted with motion.

All three Architects launched a simultaneous counterattack—conceptual chains and energy spheres firing toward the Raiyen clones in coordinated waves.

The clones moved with perfect precision, evading and deflecting every strike without damaging the headquarters itself.

From Earth, Korrin watched the exchange carefully.

"They're thinking independently," she whispered. "But their timing is still perfectly coordinated."

Raiyen gave a faint smile.

"Every clone is my will," he said. "And every will has the same purpose."

Inside the headquarters, the Architects were beginning to feel cornered.

"This power… combined with restraint…" one of them muttered in disbelief.

The Raiyen before him answered quietly.

"You haven't even seen the full scale yet."

Then the three Raiyen bodies spoke again, their voices perfectly synchronized.

"Answer the questions."

Silence filled the chamber.

Then one of the Architects made a sudden move.

A hidden layer of the headquarters activated.

Reality itself began shifting around them.

Walls stretched, dimensions folded, and the entire structure started rearranging its own existence.

The second Raiyen watched the distortion calmly.

"We're not stopping," he said quietly.

On the surface of Earth, the original Raiyen observed the change through his connection to the clones.

His voice was soft, but certain.

"…Now the real game begins."
