Chapter 2 - The First God Bleeds

Raiyen awakens on a ruined battlefield, where charred earth and black flames have transformed the land into a nightmare. When his eyes open, it becomes clear—he is no longer human. A deep, unfamiliar voice resonates within him, welcoming him back and declaring that his name will now be remembered only through pain and death.

Before Raiyen can act on his overwhelming desire for revenge, unbearable agony surges through his body. His muscles, nerves, and shattered soul begin to burn and merge as a new power system takes form. Raiyen realizes that this suffering is not punishment—it is the foundation of his strength.

His power manifests in three interconnected layers.

The first is the Soul Flame, a black fire fueled by revenge. Every emotion—rage, sorrow, betrayal—causes the flame to grow more violent, erupting in destructive surges the deeper his pain becomes.

The second is Cursed Blood Flow. Raiyen's blood can drain life force from anything it touches, amplifying his physical and destructive power. It does not heal him; instead, it multiplies damage at the cost of burning fragments of his own soul with every use.

The final layer is the Godslayer Sigil, a mark engraved upon his body that unlocks divine secrets. Through it, Raiyen can perceive a god's weaknesses and manipulate divine energy itself. However, losing control risks his soul evaporating back into the Void.

Raiyen understands the truth—his pain is no longer a burden. It is his weapon.

As he takes his first steps forward, black flames trail behind every movement, warping the air and scorching the ground. From the shadows, two powerful beings silently observe. Veyra, a fallen angel with blackened wings, watches without interfering, curious to see how far Raiyen will descend. Nearby, Korrin, the Cursed Queen, appears only briefly, her crimson eyes measuring his growth before she vanishes again. Neither aids him, nor opposes him. They exist solely to witness whether Raiyen's rise is born from pure rage and true merit.

Raiyen's first target is unmistakable—the God of Judgment, the one who condemned him to death.

Activating the Godslayer Sigil, Raiyen releases black lightning that tears through divine space. Holy chains dissolve instantly, and a crushing aura of pain spreads outward. Any divine being caught within its range experiences centuries of accumulated suffering.

The Heavenly Court begins to tremble.

The God of Light realizes the impossible truth—Raiyen survived the Void and has returned as the embodiment of the Gods' end. Before the God of Judgment can react, Raiyen's presence alone drains half of his divine power. Every insult, betrayal, and execution ignites within Raiyen's soul flame, pushing his strength beyond divine perception.

From afar, Veyra and Korrin continue to observe, sensing both potential and danger. Raiyen notices them—but his mind is fixed on a single purpose: the extermination of all Gods.

Raiyen strikes.

With a lightning-fast punch empowered by cursed blood and black flame, the God of Judgment is sent staggering backward. His holy armor cracks, divine essence spilling for the first time in millennia. As flames engulf the shattered pillars of the Heavenly Court, Raiyen whispers a final warning—this is only the beginning.

For the first time in eternity, a God bleeds.

As Raiyen walks away, black flames consuming the ground behind him, fear spreads through the divine realm. From the shadows, the watchers whisper—this boy may either destroy the balance of existence or forge a new one.

Raiyen's eyes burn with dark resolve.

The hunt has begun.
