Chapter 23 - The Uneven Fight

The atmosphere was charged with tension and anticipation, and everyone wondered how this unequal confrontation would end.

Basil and Hamza stepped closer to watch from nearby, questioning the fate of this brave boy and whether he possessed a plan or hidden power to face one of the kingdom's most prominent warriors.

After the boy stepped forward for the duel, one of the onlookers said, "This is the boy who appeared at the last celebration and defeated one of the duelists. It seems arrogance has gotten to him because he now wants to face Morani."

The boy charged forward with burning enthusiasm, determined to strike with all the strength he had, his eyes blazing with resolve.

When the boy attacked, Morani dodged the strike lightly despite his large body, stepping aside mockingly, his eyes carrying a clear look of disdain.

The boy tried to attack again, gathering his strength, and after several attempts he managed to land a quick strike that hit Morani's arm, leaving a slight scratch.

This strike ignited Morani's anger. His eyes narrowed, and a cold smile formed on his face before he delivered a powerful punch to the boy's jaw, causing blood to flow from his mouth immediately.

The boy staggered backward and tried to stand again, but Morani gave him no chance. He rushed at him fiercely and began delivering relentless blows, causing the boy to fall to the ground, his small body trembling under the weight of the beating, while the crowd stood watching the scene in silence mixed with shock and concern.

Morani moved toward the boy, raising his spear with clear intent to kill.

When the boy saw those terrifying features, he said in a faint voice, "I surrender, stop!" Yet Morani continued advancing toward him.

People began shouting, warning Morani, "Be careful, he is Finn, Ateen brother!"

Morani approached and raised his weapon, while the people stood in dreadful silence.

The leader of the Mazi tribe sat on his chair in silence, showing no reaction.

At the last moment, Basil shouted loudly, "Stop, you!"

Morani turned to him, anger evident on his face.

Morani asked him with contempt, "And who do you think you are to order me to stop?!"

Basil stepped forward and replied, "The boy has surrendered, and he does not want to fight you. You must stop."

Morani's anger increased, and he said in a booming voice, "Do not interfere in matters that do not concern you!"

Basil stood firm in his place and said, "I told you to stop… do not force me to do something you will regret."

Morani grew furious at his words, and in a swift moment he lunged at Basil, attempting to stab him with his spear, but Basil dodged the attack with agility and skill. Then he raised his gloved hand, pulled the bracelet back, and launched a powerful punch at Morani's face, shouting, "Amtores Punch!"

Morani was struck by the force of the blow and was sent flying a long distance until he fell beside the feet of the tribe leader.

Silence fell over the place, and everyone stared at Basil in astonishment.
