While they were headed toward Eirian and Banxa's place, Zuzana, Aurora, and Dario unexpectedly ran into the two of them coming from the opposite direction. Everyone's eyes widened in total shock at the sudden encounter. Zuzana was the first to speak up, asking in surprise:
Zuzana: "Eh? Where are you two going?"
Seeing Zuzana's bewildered expression, Eirian burst out laughing at her cluelessness and said:
Eirian: "The same as you! It's been a few days since we last saw each other, so we were actually on our way to find you guys!"
Zuzana: "Oh, I see!"
Aurora: "And here I was, thinking you two had completely forgotten about us!"
Meanwhile, Dario was thinking to himself, feeling more excited than ever:
(Oh my god! She said she missed me! I'm so happy!)
Just as the whole group had finally reunited, someone approached and called out:
"Banxa! Lord Harold has summoned you and me to the interrogation room again!"
"Hurry up, he's waiting for us there!"
It was Rychard, a high-ranking mage and their superior. Banxa immediately replied:
Banxa: "Yes, sir! I'm on my way!"
Eirian: "Huh? The interrogation room again?"
Banxa: "Yeah... I have to go back there to use my emotion-sensing magic to investigate those criminals. Sigh... doing this over and over again is so draining. I'm exhausted!"
Banxa quickly followed Rychard to the interrogation room. Eirian looked disappointed and sighed:
Eirian: "How boring! I really thought that since we were all together, we could go to the park. Who would've thought Banxa would be busy again!"
Hearing Eirian constantly complaining and mentioning Banxa made Dario feel a bit annoyed. He seized the chance to change the subject:
Dario: "Whatever! We'll go together when he's free next time. It's not worth stressing over. Besides, the four of us going together will still be fun, right?"
Eirian: "Yeah! If you say so, then let's go!"
With that, they left the spot and headed to the park as planned.
