The morning sun hit the massive green gates of Konoha.
Sandayu Asama stood nervously next to a luxury carriage. Inside, the famous actress Yukie Fujikaze was still passed out from Kakashi's Genjutsu and a heavy hangover from cheap sake.
Kenji leaned against the wooden gate, his arms crossed. He watched Sakura try to start a conversation with Sasuke. Sasuke ignored her entirely, staring blankly at the dirt. Naruto was bouncing on his heels, buzzing with an annoying, bottomless energy.
Footsteps crunched on the gravel.
Another squad approached the gates, returning from a morning patrol. Team 8. Kiba Inuzuka, Shino Aburame, and Hinata Hyuga walked behind their Jonin instructor, Yuhi Kurenai.
Kenji's eyes immediately locked onto the Jonin.
Kurenai wore a tight dress made entirely of red and white bandages. It left absolutely nothing to the imagination. Her pale thighs were thick and toned. Her waist was narrow, and her heavy boobs pushed aggressively against the tight fabric.
Such a beauty, Kenji thought, licking his lips as he boldly dragged his eyes up and down her body. It's truly a waste for a woman that thick to end up with a short-lived ghost like Asuma Sarutobi. The guy is just going to get butchered by the Akatsuki anyway. It's a pity. We rarely cross paths. I should definitely add her to the list before that happens.
Kurenai felt the heavy stare. She turned her striking red eyes toward Kenji. He didn't look away. He didn't blush. He just gave her a dark, knowing smirk. Kurenai frowned, a faint tint of pink hitting her cheeks from his sheer, unapologetic audacity, before she quickly looked away and kept walking.
"N-Naruto-kun..."
Kenji shifted his attention. Hinata Hyuga was standing in front of Naruto. She was trembling. Her face was entirely red. She held a small, carefully wrapped bento box out in front of her.
"Oh! Hey, Hinata!" Naruto grinned. "What's that?"
"I... I heard you were going on a long mission," Hinata stuttered, staring directly at her sandals. "So... I made this for you. F-For the trip."
Naruto's face lit up. He snatched the box from her hands. "Awesome! Free food! Thanks, Hinata, you're the best!"
Hinata looked like she was about to pass out from pure joy.
But Naruto didn't look at her for another second. He instantly spun around and ran straight toward Sakura.
"Hey Sakura-chan! Look what I got! Do you want to sit by me on the ship and share it?!"
"Shut up, Naruto! You're so annoying!" Sakura yelled, swatting him away without even looking at him. She took a step closer to Sasuke. "Sasuke-kun, do you want to sit together on the ship?"
Sasuke didn't even acknowledge her existence. He just scoffed and turned his back to her.
Hinata watched the entire thing from the gates. Her shoulders slumped slightly, but she didn't say a word.
Kenji watched the trainwreck unfold with pure frustration.
This little bitch, Kenji thought, glaring at the back of Naruto's blonde head. There is a gentle girl right here, madly in love with him, offering him homemade food. And he is still buzzing around Sakura's flat chest. Sakura literally treats him like garbage, and he begs for it.
Kenji sighed and shook his head.
If he wasn't my good buddy, I would have cucked him right here just to prove a point. But I actually need this idiot to focus if we're going to fight rogue ninja in the snow. This trip is the perfect excuse. I need to speed up his training. Not just combat. He needs some serious perverted education.
Kenji looked at the carriage, and then back at the oblivious blonde Jinchuriki.
I'll show him how things are really done. Once he gets a good look at some real, mature women, he'll forget about that pink-haired brat entirely.
"Alright, team," Kakashi said, suddenly appearing in a swirl of leaves on top of the carriage. He didn't look up from his orange book. "The port is a three-hour walk. Let's move."
Sandayu whipped the horses. The carriage lurched forward.
The A-Rank mission to the Land of Snow had officially begun.
