Chapter 30 - Chapter 30 Clash with the Guardian

The battlefield had gone completely silent.

Everyone present—royal knights, cultists, even Captain Leon—stared at the young boy standing in front of the massive Void Guardian.

The monster towered over him like a dark mountain.

Its glowing red eyes focused entirely on Saksham.

Dark energy flowed from its body like smoke rising from fire.

The ground beneath its feet cracked with every small movement.

But Saksham didn't move.

The swirling sphere of fusion mana rotated steadily in his hands.

Golden light and black darkness moved together like two stars orbiting the same center.

Behind him, Orion watched carefully.

"Remember," he said calmly, "don't let the elements separate."

Saksham nodded slightly.

"I know."

Captain Leon, still holding his sword, whispered to the knights beside him.

"Everyone stand back."

"This fight… is no longer ours."

The remaining royal soldiers slowly stepped away from the battlefield.

Even the cultists paused their attacks.

They were curious.

They wanted to see what would happen.

At the temple steps, the cult leader watched with interest.

"So this is the boy."

"The one who can control both light and darkness."

He tilted his head slightly.

"Let's see if he can survive."

The Void Guardian moved first.

With a thunderous roar, the monster lifted its massive claw and slammed it downward.

BOOM!

The impact shattered the stone ground.

Dust and debris exploded into the air.

But Saksham had already moved.

He jumped to the side just before the claw struck.

The shockwave pushed him back several meters, but he quickly regained his balance.

"Fast," he muttered.

The monster swung its tail next.

A massive arc of black crystal cut through the air.

Saksham reacted instantly.

He raised his hand.

"Fusion Shield."

The swirling energy expanded into a protective barrier.

CRASH!

The tail struck the shield.

The impact sent a powerful vibration through Saksham's arms.

His feet slid across the ground.

But the shield held.

The knights watching from the side gasped.

"He blocked it…"

Even Captain Leon looked shocked.

"That attack destroyed half our formation earlier."

The Void Guardian growled in frustration.

It raised both arms this time.

Dark energy gathered around its claws.

Then it launched forward.

The creature's massive body moved far faster than expected.

Saksham's eyes widened.

"Too fast!"

The Guardian's fist came crashing toward him.

At the last moment—

Saksham released the fusion energy from his hand.

"Fusion Burst!"

The golden-black energy shot forward like a beam.

BOOM!

The attack collided directly with the monster's arm.

The explosion lit up the entire battlefield.

A shockwave spread outward.

Stone pillars collapsed.

Dust filled the air again.

For a few seconds—

no one could see anything.

Then slowly—

the smoke cleared.

The Void Guardian stood in the center of the battlefield.

But this time—

a large crack had appeared in the armor on its arm.

Black energy leaked from the fracture.

The knights stared in disbelief.

"He actually damaged it…"

Captain Leon's eyes widened.

"That monster survived everything we threw at it…"

"And that boy just cracked its armor."

At the temple steps, the cult leader's smile faded slightly.

"Interesting."

The Void Guardian looked down at its damaged arm.

Then its glowing red eyes slowly returned to Saksham.

The monster roared again.

But this roar sounded different.

Angrier.

More violent.

Inside Saksham's mind, the system interface flashed rapidly.

SYSTEM ALERT

Enemy Reaction Detected

Void Guardian Awakening: 92%

Combat Difficulty: Increasing

Recommended Action: Maintain Fusion Stability

Saksham took a deep breath.

The first attack had worked.

But he could already feel something changing.

The monster's energy was rising.

Behind him, Orion stepped closer.

"Careful," he warned.

"That creature is adapting."

Saksham nodded.

"I can feel it."

The Void Guardian slowly lifted its wings of dark energy.

The air around it twisted violently.

Then dark mana gathered above its head.

A massive sphere of black energy formed in the sky.

Captain Leon looked up in horror.

"That attack…"

"We've seen it before."

"It wiped out an entire squad."

The sphere of dark energy grew larger.

Lightning flashed around it.

The Void Guardian pointed its claw toward Saksham.

Then it fired.

The dark sphere shot downward like a falling meteor.

Saksham's eyes narrowed.

The attack was enormous.

Dodging wasn't possible.

He raised both hands again.

Light appeared.

Darkness followed.

The two energies began rotating.

Faster.

Faster.

Fusion mana formed again.

But this time—

Saksham pushed even more power into it.

The swirling sphere grew twice as large as before.

Orion watched carefully.

"Don't lose control…"

The meteor of dark energy fell closer.

The entire battlefield shook.

Saksham focused completely.

Then he stepped forward.

"Fusion Strike!"

He launched the energy directly upward.

The golden-black attack shot toward the sky.

And the two powers collided.

BOOOOOOM!

The explosion lit up the night like a second sun.

Shockwaves tore across the ruins.

Both attacks shattered into fragments of energy.

But when the light faded—

something surprising happened.

The Void Guardian had stepped back.

Just one step.

The monster had been pushed.

Captain Leon whispered in disbelief.

"He moved it…"

The cult leader's eyes narrowed again.

"So the boy can actually fight it."

Meanwhile—

Saksham stood in the center of the battlefield, breathing heavily.

The fusion technique was draining his energy quickly.

But he raised his hands again.

Golden light appeared once more.

Dark energy followed.

The two elements began spinning together.

The battle had only just begun.

And the Void Guardian was far from defeated.

To be continued…
