Chapter 34 - THE EMERGENCE OF THE COUNCIL OF SLAUGHTER

His body staggered, the primordial dragon aura that had shaken the world moments ago extinguishing in an instant.

The Godslaying Dragon symbol on his forehead cracked, then vanished like ash scattered by the wind.

THUD.

He collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

The sky returned to silence—

a suffocating silence.

In the distance, amid ruins and blood, Lei Tian Hong was slammed against a massive boulder. Half of his body was scorched by the remnants of destructive lightning.

His right arm…

was severed.

Blood dripped endlessly.

Yet he was still alive.

His eyes slowly opened, filled with a hatred bordering on madness.

"Yun… Xihua…" he muttered hoarsely.

"That technique… does not belong to humans…"

He looked at Yun Xihua's unmoving body, protected only by a remnant aura that was nearly extinguished.

The corners of Lei Tian Hong's lips twisted into a crooked smile.

"Now."

He raised his remaining left hand, his voice echoing with ancestral authority.

"Kill him."

Dozens of elite disciples of the Lei Clan immediately stepped forward. Their spiritual swords gleamed, killing intent soaring without hesitation.

"He is a threat to heaven and earth!"

"If he awakens again, all clans will be destroyed!"

The swords were raised high.

One more step.

One more breath.

Just as the sword tips were about to touch Yun Xihua's skin—

BRAAAAAAM!!!

The sky cracked.

Black-crimson clouds spun wildly, as if the world itself were screaming in fear. A dense aura descended like an ocean of blood from the heavens, slamming into the ground around Yun Xihua.

BOOM!!!

The Lei Clan disciples were blasted hundreds of meters away, bones shattered, swords crushed into dust.

A black-crimson aura barrier formed above Yun Xihua—cold, cruel, absolute.

Lei Tian Hong's eyes bulged.

That aura…

He trembled.

"Impossible…"

"This aura… impossible…"

The sky split completely.

From the rift of darkness, a single figure descended slowly.

Long black hair fluttered without wind.

Dark red eyes like the abyss of hell.

Each step caused the laws of heaven to tremble.

He did not emit an aura…

Yet the heavens bowed.

The earth fell silent.

His voice was calm, flat—yet carried a killing intent

 that shattered souls.

"Who… dares…"

"…to touch someone under my protection?"

Lei Tian Hong collapsed to the ground. His face was pale as a corpse.

"W–Wang… Lin…"

The God-Slaughtering Deity.

A being whose name was taboo even among the ancestors.

Wang Lin glanced at the unconscious Yun Xihua, then looked toward Lei Tian Hong—just a single glance.

PUFF.

Half of Lei Tian Hong's body exploded into a mist of blood, without even time for a scream.

Wang Lin raised his hand, the black-crimson aura strengthening around Yun Xihua.

"He is not allowed to die yet," he said coldly.

"His fate… is not finished."

He looked up at the sky, as if speaking to the laws of the world themselves.

"Anyone who tries to kill him again…"

"I will sever your clan's line of existence from history."

Wang Lin's presence had not yet fully

calmed the world…

when suddenly—

THE SKY SCREAMED.

Not the sound of thunder.

Not the roar of lightning.

But the wrath of the Dao laws themselves.

Black-crimson clouds spun violently, forming an endless vortex.

Space cracked like shattered glass, and time seemed to slow.

Even the remaining elders were forced to kneel, blood flowing from their seven sensory orifices.

"This… this is heavenly punishment…" someone whispered in a broken voice.

"Not for humans… but for gods."

BLACK-CRIMSON LIGHTNING struck down—not one, not two—but thousands, each carrying the will to annihilate existence.

Every strike contained the law of eradication, aimed directly at Wang Lin.

But that was not all.

The space above the heavens tore completely open.

From beyond the rift of void, a gigantic hand slowly emerged.

Its size…

was comparable to a planet.

Its skin was covered in ever-changing ancient Dao symbols—each line a law, each pulse a verdict of death.

Its fingers pressed down on space until illusory stars collapsed one by one.

It was not a living being.

It was the Hand of Heavenly Dao Judgment.

A voice without source echoed throughout all reality:

WANG LIN… YOU HAVE CROSSED THE LINE!!

Pressure descended like an infinite mountain.

Distant seas evaporated.

Mountains turned to dust.

Even dimensions began collapsing layer by layer.

The alliance elders screamed in terror.

"He… he has truly provoked the wrath of this world's Dao!!"

Black-crimson lightning converged, striking Wang Lin from all directions.

The gigantic hand descended slowly—one movement alone enough to erase the history of an entire world.

Yet…

Wang Lin did not retreat.

He stood before the still-unconscious Yun Xihua, his black robe fluttering amid the storm of Dao laws.

His hair danced wildly, his eyes burning dark red—calm, cold, unshakable.

He looked up at the planet-sized hand.

Then…

he smiled faintly.

"Dao of a small world," he said softly, his voice subdued yet making the laws tremble.

"You dare… judge me?"

He raised one hand.

NOT TO DEFEND.

BUT TO CHALLENGE.

Black-crimson aura erupted from Wang Lin's body like a sea of primordial blood.

Behind him, countless shadows—gods, kings, immortals—appeared and shattered, as if the entire history of slaughter knelt behind him.

"I slaughter gods."

"I sever Dao."

"And you…" his eyes narrowed sharply,

"are merely laws of a low-level world."

The giant Dao hand paused for a moment.

For the first time— HEAVENLY LAW HESITATED.

Black-crimson lightning roared even more violently, then the hand slammed down with full force, intending to erase Wang Lin and Yun Xihua from existence.

But at the moment of imminent collision—

AN ANCIENT SYMBOL LIT UP ON WANG LIN'S CHEST.

A symbol that even the Dao of this world…

did not recognize.

The clash between the God-Slayer and Heavenly Judgment was inevitable.
