Chapter 30 - Crossing the Sea!

Jin didn't pay any attention to the giraffe or the wolf.

Once Chopper's breathing stabilized, he walked straight through the battlefield and returned to Nico Robin's side.

"Usopp, hold him."

Usopp froze for a moment, clearly surprised that Jin knew his name.

But when he remembered how Nami had pulled Jin into the Rocketman's cockpit earlier to whisper something, he immediately understood.

He probably learned it from her back then.

"Alright, got it."

Usopp didn't argue and nodded as he took Chopper into his arms.

To be honest, aside from Chopper himself, everyone present already knew who he was.

"What exactly happened to Chopper?" Nami asked in confusion.

"Why did he turn into that state?"

If Jin could calm him down with just one glance, then he probably knew the reason too.

"I don't know," Jin said after thinking for a moment.

"He was almost completely unconscious—his body was moving purely on berserk animal instinct."

"It's probably related to his Devil Fruit."

"Let's ask him after he wakes up," Robin said.

Since there was no way to figure it out right now, there was no point worrying about it.

They should deal with the immediate problem first.

As she spoke, Robin looked toward the Gate of Justice.

By now, it was almost fully open.

Which meant—

The Buster Call was imminent.

Nami followed her gaze, her expression changing slightly.

"It's opening already…?"

"Isn't that perfect?" Jin grinned.

"I've been waiting for this."

The Buster Call…

He hoped it wouldn't disappoint him.

"I'll help you!" Franky rushed into the room, raising his arm toward Jabra, intending to finish them before the Buster Call arrived.

"Tch."

Jabra spat and vanished instantly with Soru.

Franky looked helpless.

These Rokushiki users were simply too fast—it wasn't easy to land a hit.

"No need. Leave him to me," Sanji said without turning his head.

"I'll defeat this guy."

"Yeah!" Zoro shouted.

"Go do what you're supposed to do—we'll handle these two!"

For CP9 members who dared to hurt their companions, Sanji and Zoro wanted nothing more than to take them down personally.

Franky hesitated for a moment, then finally withdrew and returned to Jin's side.

Jin nodded.

"Then I'll leave this to you."

With that, he bent down, grabbed Blueno by the leg, and began dragging him away.

The sight made Kaku's blood pressure spike.

"You bastard! He's already unconscious—what are you planning to do?!"

Jin didn't answer.

He just kept dragging him.

Kaku: !!!

"Damn it!!"

Veins bulged on Kaku's giraffe face. He desperately wanted to fire a Rankyaku and slice Jin apart—

But Blueno was right beside him.

Afraid of hitting his companion, Kaku could only hold back.

"The victor has the right to deal with the defeated," Zoro sneered.

"That's the rule of the sea. Don't tell me you don't know that."

He didn't know what Jin intended to do—but he trusted that there was a reason.

Just then—

A cannonball ripped through the air.

BOOOOM!!

A shell slammed directly into the top of the tower, blasting away the already-unstable upper structure.

"That's… Buster Call artillery!" Jabra's face changed drastically.

They'd already started firing?!

That meant they didn't have much time left.

Realizing this, Jabra's attacks grew even more ferocious.

"That really is the Buster Call," Robin said, frowning as she looked upward.

"The sky is already visible."

Only one shell…

Most likely a test shot.

"Probably," Jin replied calmly while crouching beside Blueno and treating him.

"They've finally arrived. I was starting to get impatient."

A trace of heaviness appeared in Franky's eyes.

No matter how much he hated to admit it, facing the Buster Call made it impossible for him to stay calm.

Yet the ninja kid remained completely composed.

That alone set him apart.

A moment later—

"Alright. He's healed."

"…Ugh."

Blueno slowly regained consciousness.

But before he could say a single word, a pair of crimson Sharingan filled his vision.

"That was fast?" Robin asked curiously.

"Yes." Jin nodded, then said calmly,

"Blueno—stand up."

"Yes."

Blueno immediately rose to his feet and stood respectfully beside Jin, as if he weren't a World Government CP9 agent at all—but Jin's subordinate.

Franky's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

"H-Hey, what the hell?! Why is this cow-headed guy listening to you?!"

"It's nothing," Jin replied.

"I just controlled him with genjutsu."

"Genjutsu… so that idiot Spandam pressing the Golden Den Den Mushi—"

"You did that too?"

"Yes."

Franky: ...

Just how terrifying was this ninja kid?

"Alright, leave this place to Zoro and the others," Jin said.

"If you want to go to the Gate of Justice, just tell this cow-head. He'll take you there using his Devil Fruit."

Then Jin glanced toward the distant Gate of Justice.

"I'm going to deal with the Buster Call."

At that moment, the silhouettes of warships were already visible.

If he didn't act now, the bombardment would inevitably endanger his companions.

The next instant—

Jin vanished.

When he reappeared, he was standing atop an enormous water dragon, soaring across the tower and flying straight over the sea toward the Gate of Justice!

"That ninjutsu is way too cool!!" Usopp shouted excitedly.

If only he could learn ninjutsu too!

"Have you notified the Franky Family?" Nami asked.

"They should retreat early—the fighting here is almost over."

"Don't worry," Franky replied.

"Jin already contacted them."

"Good. Then we—"

"Let's go to the Gate of Justice," Robin said.

"To the Gate of Justice?"

"Yes," Robin nodded softly.

"I want to see it."

Everyone immediately understood.

She wanted to witness with her own eyes how Jin would stop the Buster Call.

"Then let's go!" Franky laughed loudly.

"Don't forget—we still need to steal a ship to escape! Might as well take that idiot Spandam's!"

"Alright," Nami said.

"Cow-head—take us there."

"Understood!"

Near the Gate of Justice.

On the Navy warships, five Vice Admirals stood at the prows of their respective vessels, silently waiting for Enies Lobby to enter perfect firing range.

They didn't know why an Admiral had ordered the destruction of this place—

But that didn't matter.

Their duty was to obey.

Just then, a lookout shouted:

"Report! A massive water dragon has appeared ahead!"

"A water dragon?"

Vice Admiral Momonga frowned and looked into the distance.

Sure enough, something enormous was flying toward them.

But…

Why a water dragon?

"Battle stations!" the lookout yelled.

"There's a person standing on top of the water dragon!!"
