Guide to the Characters of Paradise

The Realm of Paradise

Paradise is a realm suspended in the sky.

Upon entering it, the very ground feels as though it is made of solid clouds—soft beneath one's steps, as if the place itself rejects all brutality.

From the very first moments, a profound sense of safety takes hold.

Here, nothing assaults.

Nothing threatens.

Countless souls rest there in peace, freed from the weight of their former existence.

They are neither judged nor tormented:

they simply exist, within a state of silent harmony.

Paradise is composed of vast luminous palaces, immaculate halls, and richly adorned sacred places.

Everything is designed to inspire order, serenity, and eternity.

Vegetation grows freely, lush and vibrant, nourished by pure celestial energy.

At the heart of this realm rises one of the most sacred symbols of all Creation:

the Tree of Life.

Recognized across countless myths throughout the worlds, it occupies a central place in Paradise.

Its presence is revered by all angels, without exception.

It represents not only life, but balance, continuity, and the original will of Creation.

Around it, the angels stand watch.

Not as conquerors, but as guardians.

For Paradise is not a place of domination.

It is a place of order, responsibility…

and decisions that affect all realms.

The Governance of Paradise

Contrary to mortal belief, Paradise is not ruled by a single, visible entity.

Power is exercised discreetly, hierarchically, and continuously.

The Throne of Paradise exists, but it is not meant to be displayed.

It embodies the supreme responsibility of safeguarding the balance of Creation, not an overwhelming authority.

The ruler of Paradise is always chosen from among the Seraphim, the highest caste of angelic warriors and judges.

This choice is never left to chance:

it is based on wisdom, self-mastery, and the ability to decide without excessive emotion.

When a ruler disappears or relinquishes their role, a successor is already prepared.

Paradise knows neither power vacuums nor chaos.

Likewise, when an Archangel Rector falls or vanishes,

a successor is immediately appointed to lead the corresponding angelic order.

Thus, every angelic hierarchy remains intact, stable, and functional.

Paradise does not collapse.

It reorganizes.

For here, order is not enforced through force,

but maintained through duty.

EYAEL

Rank

- Archangel Rector of the Thrones

- Supreme Leader of the Order of the Thrones

- Sister of all angels

- Spiritual authority figure of Paradise

Nature

An Archangel belonging to the Order of the Thrones, Eyael embodies divine justice, cosmic balance, and the sacred bond between Paradise, nature, and the spiritual world.

She does not rule through fear, but through the absolute legitimacy of her rank and her wisdom.

Extremely sensitive to human suffering, she feels the imbalances of the world as personal wounds.

Appearance

Eyael appears as a woman with fair, luminous skin, youthful in appearance yet marked by ancient wisdom.

Her long pale-blonde hair cascades down to her waist, framing a serene face with deep, dark-blue eyes—profound and unfathomable.

She wears an immaculate white gown, its solemn drapery floating around her as if obeying a different gravity.

A mantle of soft light rests upon her shoulders, while a golden aura crowns her head, immediately revealing her superior rank.

Her mere presence commands silence and respect.

The Staff of the Thrones – Divine Thronis

Eyael always carries the Divine Thronis, a sacred golden staff adorned with white lilies—symbols of peace, justice, and celestial authority.

This staff is not a weapon in the conventional sense, but a direct extension of divine will.

Powers

1. Supreme Angelic Abilities

As Archangel Rector of the Thrones, Eyael possesses:

- all the powers of a standard angel;

- the full abilities of an Archangel;

- the absolute and unique powers of the Throne caste.

When she acts, her power is drawn directly from:

- living nature;

- spiritual forces;

- the cosmic balance between realms.

The Thrones do not derive their strength from destruction, but from the stability of reality itself.

2. Authority of the Thrones

The Divine Thronis is one of the most powerful artifacts in Paradise.

Its effects include:

- the ability to banish an angel from Paradise;

- the imposition of absolute authority over nearby beings;

- when struck against the ground, all creatures within range are forced to kneel before its bearer.

Throughout history, the Divine Thronis has been wielded only by members of the Thrones.

Any other being attempting to use it would risk being consumed by their own mind.

3. Sovereignty over the Dream Realm

The Thrones maintain a direct connection to the Realm of Dreams, which serves as a boundary between:

- the material world;

- the spiritual world;

- and the higher realms.

Eyael can:

- observe dreams across realms;

- consciously enter them;

- intervene within them to protect, warn, or judge.

(This is why Penemue, a former fallen Throne, retains the ability to act within dreams—though her power there has become corrupted and distorted.)

4. Sensitivity to Human Pain

Eyael perceives human suffering across realms.

This extreme empathy is both:

- her greatest moral strength;

- and one of her deepest vulnerabilities.

It is this sensitivity that makes her profoundly respected…

and deeply tragic.

Status Among the Angels

Eyael is unanimously respected in Paradise.

Few dare to oppose her decisions, for they are always just—even when they are terrible.

Her staff is so powerful that few entities can resist it,

and her judgment is considered nearly final.

HANIEL

Rank

- Archangel Rector of the Principalities

- Sister of all angels

- Supreme authority over angels acting on Earth

Nature

An Archangel belonging to the caste of the Principalities, Haniel is responsible for supervising, organizing, and protecting celestial influence over the human world.

She is the one who makes the final decisions whenever angels are sent to Earth.

She is also the one who established the rule of the three groups within the Principalities, in order to ensure:

- stronger protection for humans;

- constant mutual support among angels;

- and a lasting balance against supernatural forces.

Appearance

Haniel appears as a woman with fair skin, a tall and powerful yet agile build.

Her long chestnut hair flows freely down her back, framing a determined face with vivid, alert green eyes.

She wears primitive attire inspired by the Cro-Magnon era, made of carefully assembled animal hides.

This choice is not a sign of regression, but a declaration:

Haniel embodies the original bond between humanity, nature, and the celestial.

Powers

1. Archangelic Abilities

As an Archangel Rector, Haniel possesses:

- superhuman strength;

- exceptional agility in close combat;

- high physical and spiritual resilience.

2. Mental Mastery

Haniel commands:

- advanced telekinesis;

- high strategic intelligence;

- instinctive understanding of battlefield and ground situations.

3. Language of the Living

She possesses the rare ability to:

- understand,

- communicate with,

- and command animals.

This power makes her a natural mediator between nature and the angels.

4. Instinctive Teleportation

Though she has no physical wings, Haniel possesses symbolic wings—a spiritual projection that allows her to teleport instantly to any location.

This gift symbolizes the freedom of movement granted to the Principalities on Earth.

Status Among the Angels

Haniel is respected for her passion, her closeness to humanity, and her acute sense of responsibility.

She does not rule through fear, but through presence, example, and deep understanding of the living world.

When a decision concerns Earth, her word is law.

METATRON

Rank

- Third King of Paradise

- Archangel Rector of the Seraphim

- Supreme Head of the Seraphic Caste

- Brother of all angels

- Hidden Regent of Paradise

Very few angels know his true role.

To most of Paradise, God is the sole ruler.

Only the Seraphim know that power is exercised… otherwise.

Nature

Metatron is an angel of absolute authority, the embodiment of celestial order and divine continuity.

Unlike Lucifer or Darfredon, he was not born from doubt or rebellion.

He was born to administer, to maintain, to ensure that Paradise functions.

God has never ruled directly.

Metatron always has.

Appearance

Metatron appears as a man with dark skin, of noble and imposing stature.

- Long blond hair frames his face;

- His very pale blue eyes, almost white, radiate a calm coldness devoid of passion;

- He wears silver armor, sober and majestic, enhanced with discreet golden accents — the mark of ancient power, never ostentatious.

He wields a massive two-handed sword, forged entirely from sacred gold.

This weapon is not meant for ordinary combat, but to execute irreversible decisions.

Powers

1. Absolute Seraphic Authority

Metatron possesses:

- all the abilities of a standard angel;

- the full power of a high-ranking Seraph;

- supreme hierarchical authority over the celestial armies.

When he gives an order, Paradise obeys.

2. Absolute Command Power

His voice does not persuade.

It declares.

- Angels instinctively feel his authority;

- even Archangels and Seraphim bow to his decisions;

- his orders cannot be ignored without cosmic consequence.

3. Guardian of the Divine Secret

Metatron is the keeper of the greatest celestial lie:

God has never ruled Paradise.

This role has always been fulfilled by Paradise's rulers, through three successive reigns, operating from the shadows in order to preserve:

- faith;

- stability;

- cosmic order.

Symbolism

Metatron embodies the cold continuity of the system.

He is what prevents Paradise from collapsing…

but also what prevents it from evolving.

MICHAEL

Virtue Angel

Appearance

Michael manifests as a fair-skinned man with an upright, calming presence.

Long chestnut hair falls over his shoulders, framing a face marked more by serenity than by the harshness of battle.

His orange eyes — the distinctive mark of the Order of Virtues — do not burn with anger, but with a steady inner light, like embers that never fade.

They reflect reflection, compassion, and a deep lucidity regarding beings and their flaws.

He wears armor in pale gray and dark brown tones, devoid of gold or excess.

Functional, restrained, and elegant, it symbolizes his role: not to crush, but to stand firm, even when everything begins to falter.

Powers

Michael possesses all the abilities of an angel.

As an angel of the Virtue class, his primary gift lies in mental and spiritual transmission.

He can communicate telepathically with living beings, perceive their conscious thoughts — but above all, their doubts, inner conflicts, and true intentions.

Yet his greatest strength does not lie in celestial energy or destruction.

It lies in the right word.

Michael wields words as others wield weapons.

His voice can calm an army, defuse a rebellion, or fracture the most deeply rooted certainties.

Through his wisdom, patience, and profound understanding of the Fall, he nearly achieved the unthinkable:

bringing Lucifer back into the light.

Status and Role

Brother to all angels, Michael is unanimously respected within Paradise.

He never imposes authority through fear or force, but through the coherence of his choices and the integrity of his spirit.

He embodies the balance between justice and compassion, between celestial law and the understanding of imperfection.

Many consider him the natural right hand of Veuliah, and some see him as her legitimate successor — not through ambition, but because he represents what Paradise possesses in its rarest form:

a power that knows when to stop before destroying.

NEMESIS

Rank

- Angel of the Order of Powers

- Enforcer of Celestial Balance

- Sister of all angels

- Independent authority, acting without compromise

Nature

Nemesis is the embodiment of relentless balance.

She does not punish out of cruelty, nor out of anger, but out of necessity.

Unlike other angels, she does not always receive direct orders.

She acts when the order of the world is threatened, even if doing so places her in opposition to her own kind.

It is this absolute autonomy that, over time, distances her from Paradise…

and ultimately leads her to Atlantis, where she will finally feel she belongs.

Appearance

Nemesis appears as a tall woman with fair skin and a solemn, commanding presence.

- Her long chestnut hair frames a severe yet majestic face.

- Her red eyes do not reflect rage or corruption, but a burning lucidity—the gaze of one who sees faults… and their consequences.

She wears a deep navy-blue robe with clean, austere lines, held in place by fine gold ornaments.

Her attire evokes justice, rigor, and the nobility of judgment.

Her posture is upright, motionless, almost statuesque—as if the world itself must pause when she appears.

Powers

1. Powers of the Order of Powers

As an angel of the Order of Powers, Nemesis possesses:

- concentrated superhuman strength;

- exceptional resilience;

- the ability to neutralize excesses of power, whether angelic, demonic, or human.

She was not created to command…

She was created to correct—at least, what she believes must be corrected.

2. Judgment of Balance

Nemesis never strikes at random.

She perceives:

- abuses;

- excesses;

- moral or cosmic imbalances.

When she acts, it is not emotional punishment, but a mathematical response to wrongdoing.

No one can beg her.

No one can corrupt her.

3. Sovereign Will

Nemesis makes her own decisions, as long as they do not violate the Fundamental Law of Paradise.

It is precisely this trait that makes her:

- feared,

- respected,

- and dangerously free.

Symbolism

Nemesis is neither gentle nor cruel.

She is lucid.

She does not judge in order to condemn—

she seeks first to understand before acting.

Where Haniel inspires and unites,

Nemesis observes, measures… and cuts if necessary.

Friendship is not a necessity for her.

It is neither a weakness nor a strength—only a possibility.

It is only through her contact with Meira, Olyra, Thynara, Lysandra, and Kalléa

that something begins to change.

At their side, she does not find disciples,

but a balance she was not seeking…

and yet recognizes as her own.

It is there, in Atlantis,

that she finally begins to feel at home.

ORIEL

Rank

- High-ranking Seraphim

- Celestial Commander

- Brother of all angels

- Absolute authority within the Realm of Paradise

Nature

A supreme Seraphim, Oriel is the living embodiment of martial purity and divine judgment.

He is not merely a celestial warrior—he is an instrument of decision, sent when even Archangels are no longer sufficient.

Appearance

Oriel appears as a fair-skinned man with a powerful, muscular build and an overwhelming presence.

His chestnut hair falls to the base of his neck, framing a face that is rarely seen, almost always hidden beneath an immaculate white hood.

Only his eyes pierce the sacred shadow:

- an extremely pale blue, almost white,

- reflecting an unnatural inner light—cold, implacable, and absolute.

He wears white-and-gold armor, a symbol of purity, order, and unquestionable authority.

Each plate is finely engraved and maintained with near-sacred care.

His soldiers bear similar armor, marking his role as guide, exemplar, and judge.

Together, they give him an appearance both royal and martial:

that of a Seraphim who imposes silence and obedience with a single glance.

Powers

1. The Nine Seraphic Wings

Oriel has mastered the sacred art of the nine Seraphic wings, the ultimate symbol of his superior caste.

These wings, forged from pure, cutting light, are not merely an attribute—

they are his most fearsome weapon.

- Any dark creature struck by their radiance is instantly purified… or annihilated.

- Their power is such that they can destroy:

- Guardian Angels,

- Archangels,

- Principalities,

should Oriel deem it necessary.

This power places him in a category of his own, feared and respected even within the highest celestial spheres.

2. Mastery of Close Combat

Oriel is an elite combatant:

- superhuman speed,

- surgical precision,

- perfect anticipation of enemy movements.

He reads his opponents' intentions before they even act, making any direct confrontation nearly suicidal.

Very few beings survive a duel against him.

Presence and Symbolism

Oriel is not cruel—but he is absolute.

When he acts, it is neither out of anger nor pride, but because a celestial decision has already been made.

Where he appears,

judgment has already been sealed.

RAZIEL

Rank

- Archangel Rector of the Cherubim

- Supreme Leader of the Order of the Cherubim

- Brother of all angels

Guardian of celestial secrets and divine memory

Nature

Raziel belongs to the caste of the Cherubim, guardians of life, innocence, and the mysteries of creation.

Like all Cherubim, he is bound to a child's body—not out of weakness, but because his nature is tied to birth, beginnings, and primordial purity.

Unlike other Archangels, Raziel does not rule through brute force.

He governs through absolute knowledge, memory of origins, and a silent authority that transcends words.

He knows what angels once were…

and what they could become again.

Appearance

Raziel appears in the form of a young boy of about six years old, with dark skin and a calm, almost expressionless face.

His short, neatly kept black hair frames gentle features that feel strangely ancient.

His gray eyes—deep and unmoving—give the impression that he observes the world with a wisdom far beyond his apparent age.

He wears a brown turban adorned with subtle golden patterns, along with matching celestial garments—simple in appearance, yet charged with sacred energy.

His childlike body stands in stark contrast to the aura he radiates:

that of a being who has existed since the dawn of Paradise.

Powers

1. Archangelic and Angelic Abilities

As Archangel Rector of the Cherubim, Raziel possesses:

- all the powers of a standard angel;

- the full abilities of an Archangel;

- the unique gifts of the Cherubim.

He can:

- preserve, restore, or alter life;

- protect the essence of a soul;

- perceive life currents across all realms.

2. Powers of the Cherubim

The Cherubim are the guardians of Life.

Raziel can:

- influence birth and the continuity of existence;

- stabilize or condemn a spiritual essence;

- maintain the balance between creation and destruction.

This is why the Cherubim remain eternally children:

they embody the eternal beginning.

The Staff of Raziel

Supreme Celestial Artifact

The Staff of Raziel is one of the most powerful objects ever forged in Paradise.

It is made of sacred gold.

It is set with seven diamonds, each representing an angelic order.

Every angelic class willingly offered a portion of its energy for its creation.

This staff therefore concentrates the collective power of Paradise itself.

Known effects:

- it can severely wound an angel;

- it can destroy a being of pure light;

- very few entities can withstand it.

(It is considered the second most powerful weapon in Paradise, surpassed only by the artifact tied to the absolute authority of the Thrones.)

Only Raziel can wield it fully without suffering its consequences.

Status Among the Angels

Raziel is deeply respected, even by the oldest Archangels.

He speaks rarely—but when he does, Paradise listens.

He is:

- the guarantor of origins;

- the witness of what Darfredon was before his fall;

- a key figure of the past… and potentially of the future.

His childlike appearance is not a weakness:

it is a constant reminder that the greatest power is often born in silence and innocence.

REIYEL

Rank

- Archangel Rector of the Dominions

- Supreme Commander of the Order of the Dominions

- Angel of Command and Celestial Warfare

- Brother of all angels

Nature

An angel of the Dominions, Reiyel was born to lead, impose order, and crush any threat against Paradise.

Unlike more spiritual or diplomatic angels, he favors direct action, discipline, and force.

Reiyel is a field commander—

forged for war rather than contemplation.

Appearance

Reiyel appears as a dark-skinned man with a powerful, imposing build.

His short gray hair, matched by a graying beard, gives him a stern and battle-hardened appearance.

His pale blue eyes are cold and calculating, always alert.

He wears a massive dark gray armor, reinforced with engraved gold patterns—symbols of his high rank and authority over the Dominions.

This armor is designed for close combat and endurance, not for display.

Powers

1. High-Level Angelic Abilities

Reiyel possesses:

- all the powers of a standard angel;

- the full capabilities of an Archangel;

- the strategic attributes unique to the caste of the Dominions.

His raw power is immense, yet always controlled.

He never strikes without purpose—every action is calculated.

2. Mastery of Close Combat

Reiyel's true strength lies in direct confrontation:

- overwhelming physical strength;

- perfected celestial martial techniques;

- exceptional resistance to both physical and magical attacks.

He excels in direct engagements, where he dominates opponents through sheer force and martial authority.

3. Tactical Intelligence and Military Cunning

Reiyel is not merely powerful—he is a strategist.

- He analyzes enemies rapidly;

- identifies their weaknesses;

- adapts his tactics in the midst of battle.

This combination of power, discipline, and tactical intelligence makes him a formidable adversary, even against entities of equal rank.

Personality

Reiyel is harsher, more severe, and less patient than most angels.

He does not seek to persuade or charm—he commands.

His authority is built on respect and fear alike,

among both his enemies and his allies.

VEULIAH

Rank

- Archangel Rector of the Virtues

- Supreme Leader of the Order of the Virtues

- Sister of all angels

- Figure of celestial respect and authority

Nature

An Archangel of the Order of the Virtues, Veuliah embodies transmission, vigilance, and divine protection.

She is not a conqueror, but a guardian of the bond between realms, entrusted with maintaining balance through words, presence, and celestial will.

Where others impose order through force,

Veuliah preserves it through understanding.

Appearance

Veuliah appears as a young woman with bronze-toned skin and a slender yet martial silhouette.

Her long black hair flows freely down her back.

Her eyes—bright orange—seem to hold a solar glow, a clear sign of her elevated rank and her direct connection to the celestial spheres.

She wears finely crafted silver armor, adorned with gold decorations.

This armor is not merely defensive: it symbolizes her role as an Archangel Rector, both protector and messenger.

Powers

1. Superior Angelic Abilities

As Archangel Rector of the Virtues, Veuliah possesses:

- strength, speed, and resilience far surpassing those of standard angels;

- advanced manipulation of celestial energy;

- an extremely refined spiritual perception;

- sacred telepathy, allowing her to read the thoughts, intentions, and deep emotions of the beings she observes.

This telepathy is neither invasive nor chaotic.

It is governed by her rank and duty, used only when balance truly demands it.

Status Among the Angels

Veuliah is deeply respected among the angelic ranks.

Her wisdom, composure, and absolute sense of duty make her a natural authority—even among older Archangels.

She never rules through fear,

but through the fairness of her actions and the quiet strength of her words.
