Chapter 101
The realization hit me like a freight train during my time at Alpha Academy - I absolutely had to stop losing consciousness at the worst possible moments.
Though having two separate entities sharing one body would probably make anyone black out regularly. Nyx grumbled somewhere in the depths of my mind, clearly irritated by my observation. Her annoyance was enough to drag me back to awareness. My body trembled uncontrollably from the bitter cold, and I could feel every inch of my skin prickling with goosebumps. I struggled to open my eyes, my vision slowly returning as violent shivers wracked my frame.
Something was different. I was in motion, being transported somewhere. I fought to force my eyelids apart and managed to get them halfway open before overwhelming fatigue slammed them shut again.
"Easy now," a familiar voice murmured above me.
