Chapter 8 - Chapter 5: The Goddess of Wind has a Sweet Tooth

Two days prior after the goblin training that Alice went through where she, Fel and Vulpix were eating sweets, they were being observed by one of the divine Deities there. This deity was the same one that had blessed Fel which increased his talent of wind magic as she observed her beloved Fenrir eating but what she can see was that he had formed a familiar contract with a human.

"My proud servant Fenrir." She spoke softly in confusion, watching Fel, Alice and Vulpix eat sweets for dinner.

"When did he form a familiar contract with a human? Really?" She questioned as she lamented how he had easily formed with a familiar contract with a human that's so young.

She knelt by the pool, resting her head on her arms before she looked back at the water as she focused her attention to Alice who was eating the oran and pecha berry flavored bread.

"How can this be? My Fenrir, bound in service to a human like that and so young..." She continued to lament. What does the human have that she can't understand?

Present time, a huge cloud of dust picked up followed by Alice's startled shout with the sun starting to set as Fel practically bulldozed his way through the forest before he skidded to a halt by a lake and would have catapulted Alice over his head if it weren't for the fact that she held onto him like a lifeline when he was running through the forest. She was riding him with Latias earlier who was holding the Pokémon egg after recalling Eevee and Bolt back and Alice was explaining to him that Latias is one of the fastest Pokémon in her world and he wanted to see and challenged Latias to a race which brought them to their current area.

"We have arrived." He told her as he looked at her over his shoulders as she breathed heavily as she tried to fix her hair which had caught twigs and leaves during the little race as Latias had finally caught up to them, holding the Pokémon egg.

"What happened? When did your hair catch twigs and leaves?" He asked her and got a small look from Alice which made his ears twitch.

"Oh, I don't know. Probably when you practically plowed straight through the forest, Fel!" She told him as she finally fixed her hair and shook the twigs and leaves off as she got off his back and Latias hovered near Fel.

"Have we reached the sea already?" Alice asked as she and Fel looked at the body of water in front of them. It doesn't have the smell of ocean and saltwater though.

"Not yet. I was craving seafood, so I have brought us to a lake." He explained, walking to the water.

"I shall fish here." He said, which made Alice and Latias look at him in confusion. He's going to fish?

"How are you gonna fish without a rod?" Alice questioned him in confusion as Fel walked to the edge of the lake.

"I have no need of such a thing. There's a far easier way." He simply said as he channeled magic through his body and Alice felt her hair rise before he was soon covered with static before letting out a howl which caused lightning to strike the lake as Alice and Latias watched in disbelief.

It did the trick as fish soon resurfaced either dead or paralyzed depending on how much power Fel used on his lightning magic on the lake.

"Unbelievable..." Alice whispered in disbelief as Latias set the incubator next to Alice's bag as she took it off and set it down by a log. The Pokémon egg kept glowing, meaning that it was close to hatching any time now.

"Mm, good haul. Take all you want." He told Alice with a small smile, proud he had provided them dinner.

"Yeah, yeah." Alice sighed as she looked at the lake, mainly the fish.

"So are all these fish dead or what?" She asked him as she rolled up her sleeves and started to remove her boots.

"I've shocked them into a state of unconsciousness. If left alone, they'll awaken." He explained and Alice was glad he didn't use too much but enough to paralyzed the fish.

"Poor fishies." Alice sighed, feeling pity for the fish but it can't be helped as she took out a wooden bucket from her item box.

She dipped her toe in the water to check the temperature before going inside. She was glad she had rolled her pants up so they couldn't get wet as she started to pick up fishes near her with Latias helping her and putting them in the bucket. She then used appraisal to check what type of fish they are and they were starting to twitch weakly. Violet Trout?

"Trout, huh? They kinda remind me of Finneon, Lumineon and Feebas if I'm being honest. I think I should salt and grill these for dinner." Alice muttered before Latias called her and she came flying back and holding a large fish.

"Whoa. That one's huge!" She exclaimed as she used appraisal.

"A king Trout? That one's definitely for Fel." Alice said as Latias set it on a tarp that Alice took out earlier and gathered a few more violet trout. Fel looked at the water and found one fish that he had eaten and liked how it tasted.

"Ooh, grab that one too." He said, using his paw to point to a particular purple looking fish.

"It tingles pleasingly on the tongue." He said as Alice stared at it in confusion but didn't trust the color.

"That one looks kinda poisonous to me and I know poison type Pokémon." Alice told him as she approached it and picked it up to see what it was.

"Let's see." She used appraisal again and her expression grew deadpanned.

'A poison lake fish?! How can Fel like it, especially the poison that was tingling on his tongue?!' Alice shouted in her mind while giving the fish a look that was borderline angry and annoyed. She has no qualms with poison type Pokémon, but there is no way she's mixing anything with poison!

"Sure enough." She looked at the fish before throwing it back in the lake much to Fel's disbelief. He wanted to eat that fish!

"What the?! How dare you?!" He questioned her in shock and disbelief but the look she gave him scared him a bit and he stepped back out of instinct.

"That tingling is the effect of its poison." Alice told him simply and firmly.

"Well, I still like it." He said, sulking a bit.

"Sure, you're blessed, so you don't have to worry about poison." She said as she approached him and he could see the concern in her eyes. He was blessed so he didn't have to worry about getting poisoned but...

"But I'm not blessed by the deities of your world." She told him and he lowered his ears. Of course she isn't but she doesn't need to eat it.

"Nobody said you had to eat it." He said, trying to reason with her but Alice had a look on her face that she was firmly putting her foot down.

"And I'm saying that I'm not allowing something poisonous as the poison lake fish to come into contact with the other ingredients!" She said loudly and firmly.

"And besides, you'll still love whatever I end up cooking, and you know it." She told him sternly and he backed down. Okay, no eating anything poisonous or else he'll earn her ire again.

"Very well then." He relented.

After gathering enough fish, they set them down to dry a bit. The amount should be enough for them combined as Alice had dried her feet first and put her boots on before she, Latias and Fel looked at the fish.

"These should be enough for all three of us. We'll need a fire to make salt grilled fish." She said as she looked at their food.

"So I guess the first step is to start one." She then turned to Fel and Latias with a smile.

"Right. Give me a hand, you two." She said as Fel nodded. She opened her item box and pulled out what looked like something to carry firewood back.

They entered the woods but not too far as they started to gather enough firewood for them to start a fire with Fel holding the firewood bag with his mouth as Latias helped them picked up firewood before they went back to their campsite where Alice used her fire magic to ignite a fire before using stones and surrounded the flames around the base so it wouldn't spread.

They sat down and Alice opened the online grocery to start purchasing the items she needed to start cooking the fish.

"Okay, we're gonna need flour and butter for sure." Alice said as she checked different pages on what else they needed.

"And what else?" She found some mushrooms and added them to the cart. Fel was observing her add items to the cart, his paw resting on her shoulder. He was laying behind her and her back rested lightly against his warm side but his eyes kept seeing meat options.

"Hey, get that meat." He said but Alice didn't as she switched to another page.

"Nope." She said firmly.

"Get that meat."

"Nuh-uh."

"Ooh, get that meat."

"No way, Fel." She said as she purchased the items from the cart and the box appeared but she petted his head which made his tail wag slightly. She knows which spot to pet his head.

Latias has observed the interaction and couldn't help but giggle. They look so perfect together.

"Thank goodness for Pokémon MasterChef Cooking segments from Kalos." She said in relief as she cleaned the fish after removing the scales.

"Those videos ended up being pretty helpful." She smiled as she soon started the process while Latias and Fel waited with the Pokémon Egg Incubator resting against Fel.

'Firstly, we remove the fish's innards and clean thoroughly with water.' She used her kitchen knife to cut the fish from the bottom to remove the innards before washing it carefully with water before sticking it on a stick to skewer it.

'After skewering, happy a liberal amount of salt and grill it slowly.' She rubbed some salt all over the fish but not too much before repeating the process and sticking them near the fire to cook.

Alice watched the fish cook but when Fel leaned forward slightly, sniffing their dinner, Alice stuck an arm out, preventing him from going near their dinner.

"Stay." She said sternly and he relented with a huff.

She told Latias to rotate the fish carefully before she got to work on the King Trout as she grunted before setting it down on the chopping board as she breathed from how heavy it was.

'And now for the King Trout.' She took the kitchen knife and started the process like the Violet Trout.

'Scrape off the scales and cut off the head.' She made sure to put enough force to cut the head off before removing the innards as well before starting the filleting process.

'Then once it's gutted, fillet the body using the spine for guidance.' She first fillet one side before doing the same to the other and before she knew it, she had successfully fillet the entire fish on her first try too.

She held up the main fish bone and leftover fish, knowing that she'll have to dispose of it and let some monsters consume it.

"Not bad, considering it was my first time." She admitted with a smile.

She looked at the plate full of the fillet King Trout before preparing the next meal since they have caught a lot of fish.

"I'll start by grilling some in foil." She muttered and got to work.

'Spread a thin layer of butter, add some onions, followed by the fish, sprinkled with salt and pepper, some shimeji and enoki mushrooms, and finally, a drizzle of sake and a bit more butter.' Alice made sure to put a thin layer of butter on the foil before putting the onions, followed by the fillet king trout. She sprinkled some salt and pepper on it before putting the perfect amount of the mushrooms and added some sake along with a piece of butter.

She then closed up the foil around it before repeating the process and put them by the fire and she looked to Fel who was laying by the fire, clearly getting hungry but was trying to stay patient for her safety.

"Just a bit longer, Fel. I'm almost done." She reassured him before getting up and started to cook the last menu.

"Next fish meuniere." She had separated the fillet king trout to make this third dish as she sprinkled some salt and pepper on it.

'Salt and pepper the desired cuts of fish.' She then moved the fish on a tray and covered them with a paper towel.

'And let them sit, then pat them dry.' The paper towel helped absorb the remaining moisture before she added some flour on it.

'Add a thin coat of flour and grill.' She set the fish down in the pan and it started to sizzle and it was starting to look good.

"It's starting to look pretty good." She said with a smile before Latias came to her as she turned to her before Fel's voice was heard along with the smell of perfectly cooked fish which was perfectly timed.

"Hey, I believe these have been cooked sufficiently." He told her as Alice turned to him. He was right. The smell was perfect timing too.

Once the meuniere was done, she served them on an even portion.

"Dinner is served." She had opened the foiled ones and added Tartar sauce and lettuce and lemon to the meuniere once she served Latias and Fel theirs and got hers next.

{Salt-Grilled Violet Trout}

{Foil-Grilled King Trout}

{King Trout Meuniere}

Fel decided to try the Foil-Grilled King Trout but the foil got in the way and he couldn't get to the meal inside. Watching him struggle made Alice feel bad as Latias managed to open hers.

"What are you doing, Fel? Here, let me help you open it first." Alice said as she helped Fel open the foil of his portion of the Foil-Grilled King Trout. His ears twitched but his nose caught her subtle scent. It was sweet and calming like apples dipped in fresh water along with the scent of spring. It was completely and uniquely hers.

The smell of the dish brought him back to his senses and his eyes widened. It smells amazing!

"That aroma! Was it trapped inside?" He questioned as he bent down to take his fist bite as Latias did the same for the King Trout Meuniere. as Alice went back to her share and grabbed one of the Salt-Grilled Violet Trout.

"I guess I'll start with this one." Alice held the stick as the fish was still steaming due to being freshly cooked. She blew on it a few times, helping it cool down slightly before taking her first bite.

The flavor hit all of them at the same time. It might be fishy but the flavors exploded in their taste buds!

"Yummy!" Alice, Latias and Fel exclaimed in shared delight though Latias couldn't speak but she let out a happy cry at the flavor.

Fel soon ate with energized gusto, eating the three pieces of meuniere in one go, having a bit of Tartar sauce on the side of his mouth but he doesn't care. All that matters is that the food was delicious!

"Crispy and flavorful. I approve." Fel said as Latias agreed, her wings fluttering in delight as she ate hers.

"And with my meal, I'll have... This!" Alice exclaimed as she pulled out a canned drink made from Razz Berry called Razz Sparkle.

"A nice cold drink. It's something that I've been wanting to try." Alice opened it and took her first drink and it was amazing as she let out a contented sigh as she ate and drank in alternation, enjoying how perfect it was before trying the meuniere next.

'This one goes great with the mushrooms and really warms and energizes you up.' Alice thought in content as she tried the fish meuniere next and it was perfect along with the sauce.

'The meuniere isn't fishy at all and the tartar sauce is perfect.' Alice chewed happily as she sipped her drink once more.

'I don't want to sound smug but I nailed it on the first try!' Alice swallowed with a smile.

She alternated with the fish and drink and it made her extremely happy. She can also tell that Fel and Latias enjoyed it a lot.

'What an endless loop of infinite happiness!' She was broken out of her thoughts when Fel spoke up and she turned to him.

"Hey. I'm out of food." He said, using his paw to move his plate something similar to what her Meowth would do to get her attention when it comes to meals.

Fel wouldn't admit it but the trout was delicious with how it was cooked to perfection.

"Time for seconds. More of the wrapped ones, as well as the ones covered in this white substance." He said, clearly wanting the Foil-Grilled King Trout and the King Trout Meuniere even Latias wanted seconds.

"The tartar sauce, you mean?" Alice asked him with a smile as she set her food and drink down as he nodded.

"Yeah, it's great stuff." She stood up and headed for the stove to start cooking more meuniere since the two wanted second helpings.

"Here, chow down on these while I make some more." Alice said, tossing Latias the Foil-Grilled King Trout who used psychic to catch them and made sure Fel had equal share and helped him unwrap them.

"As delicious as these fish are, I could eat an entire lake's worth." He joked as he chowed down on his portion but Alice heard that while turning on the stove and gave him a deadpanned look. He is not allowed to overfish.

"Not happening and leave the fishes alone so they can multiply." She said before she got to working on the meunire.

After a lot of meals, they were full and satisfied with dinner as Alice leaned against Latias while holding the Pokémon egg which was glowing more now as Fel lay near them, licking his chomps at the delicious dinner they had. It was about to hatch any minute now.

"I'm so full right now." Alice sighed in content. She didn't realize she can eat that much until now. Latias voiced her agreement while nodding.

"Drinking and eating outside like this makes me feel like we're camping again, Latias." She said while patting the egg and Latias agreed with a nuzzle to her cheek. Fel looked at Alice and how she held the egg and couldn't help imagine how she would be with children but what she said caught his attention.

"Is one able to eat fish like this whenever one is camping?" He asked her excitedly as Alice hummed.

"Well, uh, that depends." She said as she moved to get up to clean up, letting Latias hold the Pokémon egg.

She had only taken about three steps when something hit her leg which made her gasp slightly in surprise and she looked down immediately to see what it was and she could have sworn her heart and mind exploded.

It was a blue slime but it's so small and cute!

She couldn't comprehend what she was seeing but all she knows is that it was cute.

"It's... a slime?" She said in confusion, bent down a bit to get a closer look. It was definitely cute and the coloration reminded her of water, especially a dew drop from the shape.

"So it seems." Fel said though his tone didn't hold hostility towards the slime.

"I thought you made a barrier." Alice said, turning to him in confusion while Latias floated over and stared at the slime while holding the pokemon egg.

"Perhaps it was already here when the barrier went up." He stated simply while Alice just stared at him.

"Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of the barrier?" She asked him in disbelief, surprised at how relaxed he is despite having a slime with them inside the barrier.

"How embarrassing to fear something too weak to even be called a small fry." He said dismissively which made Alice stare at him more in disbelief.

"Fine, whatever. I'm a also weakling due to my low stats." She argued back slightly before turning her attention to the slime again, her expression softening with how it looked.

"So slimes don't attack, is that the deal?" She decided to ask since she might need to tell the difference between this slime and other slimes if they encounter a hostile one.

"A slime of that level is prey, nothing more." Fel answered honestly as the slime stared up at Alice.

Alice knelt down and poked it slightly causing it to squish and bounced back with a small sound which was too cute.

'It's cold and jiggly, just like jelly.' Alice thought in awe, her expression softening more now. The slime stretched out what looked like its hand to her finger and it was the cutest thing in the world.

"It's so cute!" She smiled at it. She couldn't help but feel a surge of maternal instincts screaming at her, telling her to protect this cute monster.

Latias cooed and lowered her head to look at the slime who looked at her curiously before looking back to Alice who used appraisal on it while Fel observed, hearing how Alice cooed at the baby slime.

"Let's see your stats, little guy." She said, using appraisal and the stats revealed just as much what Fel told her.

[Name] -

[Age] 3 days

[Race] Baby Slime

[Level] 1

[Strength] [筋力] 2

[Magic] [魔力] 1

[Defense] [防御力] 2

It was a baby slime?! No wonder it's so cute but its level, stats and age made her feel sorry for how lower it is compared to her stats.

'Pretty weak...' She thought sadly as her mind raced on what the baby slime will face if it was alone and didn't find them.

'And it's only three days old, huh? It wouldn't stand a chance against other monsters especially without protection.' Alice thought sadly, scenarios where it gets played by goblins or squished under the foot of a bird monster.

She shook her head immediately to get rid of such thoughts away as she looked at the slime who was bobbing slightly, making those cute chirpy sounds. Does it want something?

"Hey, is it– he trying to tell me he's hungry?" Alice asked Fel and Latias since she doesn't want to call the baby slime an it.

She felt bad for him. The baby slime was probably attracted to the smell of their dinner and she doesn't know if feeding him any Pokémon Berries is safe.

"I wish I had something to offer you, but unfortunately we're all out of food for now and I don't know if the Pokémon Berries are safe for you to eat." She said apologetically but was surprised when the baby slime turned to the table she was gonna clean up.

The baby slime started to hop to the table, letting out small sounds similar to splashing, and she followed the baby slime to the table to see what he would do.

He stopped in front of the empty bottle of tartar sauce and plunged into himself, dissolving the entire bottle immediately much to Alice's shock. The baby slime can do that?

"Whoa... It eats trash?" She said in awe.

"A slime will eat anything, even rocks." Fel said, observing the scene with a calmness as Alice turned to him in surprise.

"No kidding?" Alice asked him but he just nodded as Alice turned back to the baby slime as he started to consume the trash she was gonna put in her item box. But when he grabbed the frying pan, Alice immediately drew a line as she grabbed it from the slime.

"You can't eat that!" She told him and when he reached for the stove, Alice grabbed it before he could reach the important items she needed for cooking.

"Or this!" She said and the baby slime stared at her before stopping and hopping towards the fireplace as if he understood the pan and stove are important.

Alice sighed as she set the pan and stove back down on the table but she sensed something was wrong and she turned around just in time to see him grab one of the plates, preparing to dissolve it and let's just say Alice freaked out that she has to tell the baby slime not to eat them while Fel and Latias watched and Fel wasn't even trying to stop him.

After a few moments, everything was clean even the trash was gone all thanks to the little slime who was looking up at Alice. Despite the initial scare, Alice was impressed by the uniqueness of the little guy.

"Wow, you're really something. You took care of all the trash too." Alice said with a smile, kneeling down and starting to pet him.

"Excellent job." The praise made the baby slime happy as he started to jump gleefully, letting out happy sounds which were adorable.

"What? Do you understand what I'm saying?" Alice asked him with an endearing smile before she was surprised when he jumped into her arms which caused her to fall down into a sitting position as she held him in her arms with care.

He was surprisingly friendly. She thought all monsters in this world were evil but this one was special.

"You know, for a monster, you're pretty friendly and adorable." She smiled fondly at him, as she petted his head.

She could have sworn she saw a heart appear, meaning he was happy as he leaned against her chest. Alice doesn't know it but the baby slime, despite being 3 days old, had imprinted on her immediately. He likes how Alice was kind, gentle, funny yet she was warm. He sees her not just someone but he feels like she's going to protect him like a mama. Yes, He has made up his mind, he will become Mama's new familiar.

Fel felt jealousy at how the baby slime had taken the attention of his future mate before he secretly used appraisal and was surprised.

"It's done." He said loudly.

"That thing has already become your familiar." That made Alice look at him in disbelief. Did she hear that right? Did Fel say the baby slime is now her familiar?!

"But I didn't make a contract with it like with you, Fel." She said in confusion as he sighed and went to her side.

"It was that slime's fervent wish to become your familiar and you accepted its feelings quite easily. That is enough to create a contract. Take a look at your status." Fel explained and she immediately opened her status and was surprised. The baby slime is her new familiar but what's more is the new job on the top.

Baby slime's mother...? Did the baby slime see her as one?!

"There it is and... a... a mother? He sees me as a mother?" She asked Fel in disbelief.

"It seems so. You were kind and gentle to it. The qualities of a mother to those smaller and needed protection." He explained. He was secretly a bit jealous right now. Maybe he should put something on the job, one to show her that she is his but he needs to be patient before doing so.

"What are you waiting for? Why don't you give it a name?" Fel urged her. This baby slime might be good practice for one day in the future.

"A name? Let's see..." Alice looked down at the slime once more as Latias came to them, wanting a closer look at the newcomer more.

"A name that fits for a slime..." She stared at the baby slime. He feels like he was made from water and the little splash sounds he makes made her think of water. She smiled as she finally found the name. It was simple yet it fits the little guy.

"Sui. Your name is now Sui." She told him and he wiggled in her hands before a heart appeared once more. Sui... He loves the name. Sui loves mama!

Alice smiled at him, before a glow came from Latias and they turned as Latias set the Pokémon egg down as the bright light intensified before fading and in front of them was a newly hatched Dratini as it yawned and lifted its head up groggily.

"Oh...my Arceus..." Alice breathed in awe. Even Fel was surprised. Two new additions in one day was a shocker for him. Alice approached the newly hatched Dratini and noticed the color. It was pink unlike the normal blue coloration making it a shiny Pokémon.

"It's a shiny Pokémon." Alice whispered in awe.

"Shiny?" Fel asked as the baby slime now named Sui, hopped towards the shiny Dratini who was groggy and looked around in confusion before its eyes settled on Alice and Fel, imprinting on them immediately before its gaze fell on Sui who was staring at it.

Fel sniffed the newly hatched Dratini and hummed.

"It's a female." He told Alice who was surprised but smiled thankfully as Sui and the Dratini immediately bonded with the Dratini slithering around Sui who jiggled excitedly.

The next few days were travelling. Alice had to feed Dratini specialized mashed Pokémon berries mixed with formula and Alice was relieved that no bad effects happened to Sui when it ate one of the berries and Fel, knowing that his pack has gotten bigger with the new additions, decided to tolerate Sui and Dratini for Alice's sake since she teased him for being jealous over those younger than him.

They stopped by a clearing in the forest and Alice decided to do some training with magic but instead of fire, it was earth which she had discovered days earlier.

She channeled enough magic into her outstretched hand before letting it out.

"Stone bullet!" She casted and a small pebble shot out and headed straight for the tree but it landed just by the roots while Fel, Sui and Dratini watched.

"Not very good at that, are you?" He asked Alice who turned to him.

"I'm not a genius or as skilled like you are with magic yet, Fel." She told him as she looked at her hand.

"It's taken me this long to even use magic other than fire magic." She remembered when she channeled magic into her palm one night and gravel appeared and she felt hopeful on being able to use earth magic now.

"You learn to use fire through hands-on experience." Fel reminded her and she mentally remembered how it went as Alice went to the tree and picked up the small pebble.

"Perhaps another such exercise would yield results here." He suggested which made Alice give him a look.

"Not right now. One was enough and I'm still trying to forget the near death experience from that training you put me through." She said sternly, crossing her arms at him which made him sigh as he went to the lake to drink. He can't really force her to go through such an experience again.

Sui and Dratini had noticed Alice's bag and went to it with Sui managing to get in the bag and finding it very cosy.

"Alright then, have fun being hopeless at using earth magic." Fel said and Alice could sense the disappointment in his tone which made her sigh. It's not like she doesn't want to go through training so she can master earth magic. She wants to train of course but not at the way with the goblin incident.

"That was a bit mean." She muttered as she went to her bag where Sui seems to have made it into a hiding spot while Dratini swayed happily next to it. She picked up the water bottle and sat down as Sui noticed her with Dratini.

She sat down and started to drink from the water bottle and she noticed when Sui reached for it but she pulled it away since she wasn't done drinking.

"That's my water." She said as Sui retracted his tentacle back into himself, staring at Alice curiously with Dratini next to him before she noticed how Sui seemed to be a bit bigger than last time.

"Huh, you've gotten bigger, haven't you, Sui?" Alice said softly before looking at Dratini who was looking up at her.

"And you've gotten stronger too." She told Dratini.

"And you two leveled up a lot in just a few days." She used appraisal on Sui. When they first met Sui before Dratini hatched, Sui was just Level 1 but now Sui is Level 8. Dratini of course was level 1 when she first hatched but a few training sessions with Eevee and Bolt leveled her up to level 7.

'I hadn't thought about it, but maybe eating otherworldly items has a similar effect to eating otherworldly food. And the slight playfighting with Eevee and Bolt leveled up Dratini.' She thought as she finished her drink before giving the empty bottle to Sui who accepted it and dissolved it quickly.

'Having Sui eat all our trash has actually been a huge help. My item box was turning into an otherworldly garbage heap.' She thought happily before Fel's voice caught her attention.

"Hey!" She turned to him as he came to them and Dratini let out a happy cry at Fel who was confused but didn't mind as he looked at Alice.

"It seems I've grown hungry." He told her which made her smile fondly at him. Despite their new addition, Fel's appetite never changes a bit. Sui hopped back down on the ground as Alice stood up as she walked to him.

"We did have an early lunch, okay?" She said.

"I'd like meat." Fel said simply which made her smile slightly as Sui hopped to Alice with Dratini slithering beside it.

"No kidding." Alice said before she turned to Sui and Dratini. They haven't had some of her cooking yet since they were still new but maybe they should try to eat something for the first time.

"And you two get some too." She told them and both tilted to the right curiously. Alice made lunch for them and put everything in equal portions before presenting Fel his large portion.

{Miso-Marinated Orc Meat Bowl}

"Miso marinated orc bowl." Alice said and Sui was bouncing excitedly, excited about what his mama had made even Dratini looked curious and excited for the meal.

"This one's pretty simple." Alice started to explain as Fel immediately started to eat when she turned to the table.

"I prepped the orc meat yesterday, then I let it mari-" She explained but was cut off by Fel who was enjoying the meal.

"Delicious! I've had good orc meat before, but this is exquisite!" He said in delight which made Alice stare at him in disbelief.

"Damnit, Fel, listen for once." She told him yet there was no annoyance in her tone before she turned to Sui and Dratini who were by their bowls.

"Well, eat up, guys." She said before addressing Sui.

"Not the bowl, though, Sui. Only the stuff that's in it." Alice told him and Sui shook happily which she took as a nod and Sui extended a tentacle to try the dish and Dratini, after getting her first bite, started to eat excitedly with Sui.

"There you go." Alice cooked some for herself to start eating and to see how it would taste.

"Time for my turn." She used chopsticks to pick up one of the meat before putting it in her mouth and it was perfect!

"Mmm, orc meat is so tasty. And it really absorbed the miso perfectly." Alice said after swallowing. She was starting to get used to eating cooked monster meat now.

She wrapped the rice and a bit of cabbage inside the meat and ate it. A perfect healthy meal.

'Outstanding and delicious. Cilan and Brock would be wanting to try these.' She thought solemnly but she shook her head.

"The cabbage is a perfect addition." She said with a smile.

"The texture is great and it evens out the flavor too." Alice commented before Fel used his paw to lift his plate to Alice, showing her that he wants seconds.

"I want more." He said as she looked up at him.

"And don't skimp on the meat this time." He added which made her snort.

"Already and seriously? Just admit you ate the cabbage too." She teased him and caught a blush on his face as he huffed but gave her his plate which she took to refill it before she turned to Sui and Dratini who finished theirs too.

"You like it, Sui, Dratini?" She asked the two youngest additions.

Dratini nodded excitedly, even Sui shaking before the two offered her their bowls.

"You want seconds too, huh?" Alice smiled at them before taking their bowls and started to refill their bowls and plate to eat the rest. She went to the table before a thought came to her.

'Come to think of it, orc meat doesn't seem the least bit weird to me anymore. Guess that means I've gotten used to the food over here.' She smiled as she started to cook the rest of the meat.

Ever since she had been summoned unintentionally, she has been reading cooked meals thanks to her internship at Cilan's restaurant/gym but reading the meals from the other world the three teens, Kaito, Kanon and Rio, came from and she was glad the online grocery has a book section and she found culinary book of famous and healthy meals.

It was night time when they finally finished their meals and Alice was leaning against Fel who was taking a small nap while Dratini napped on Alice's lap and Sui was letting out what seemed to be happy humming chirps while bobbing in content. The meal was very filling. Alice looked to Sui who was bobbing happily.

"What did Sui eat today?" Alice wondered.

"I'm pretty sure it was just today's dinner and an empty bottle." Alice said as she petted Dratini who snuggled up to her closely in her sleep.

Alice used appraisal on Sui to check his stats and was surprised.

"Looks like you picked up some buffs." She told him before she remembered.

'I get it now. So eating otherworldly food can temporarily boost your stats, but it doesn't have any effect on your level.' She thought before she looked to the table to see Sui and Dratini there. Dratini used a weak version of water pulse to help Sui clean the utensils with Sui putting the pan in his body but didn't dissolve it as he had been taught not to.

'Now that Sui's learned to dissolve dirt selectively and Dratini learns a water pulse to help clean, I can finally relax which means I don't have to waste water or dishwashing soap now.' She thought in relief as Sui and Dratini were admiring the clean pan as if it was the most interesting in the world.

'They're good kids.' She stood up and went to the two and picked them up in her arms.

"Thank you, Sui, Dratini." She smiled as she petted them while Dratini went on her shoulders, nuzzling her mama with Sui letting out a happy chirp.

"Fel, on the other hand." She turned to Fel who had woken up as he yawned. She just smiled. She doesn't want to favor Sui and Dratini even though they're younger than Fel but she appreciates his help and devotion when it comes to providing meat for her to cook.

She shook her head before looking at the two youngsters.

"You work hard and get just as big as Fel, Sui. And train hard and become strong like Fel too, Dratini." She told them both and Sui bobbed happily, showing a heart. He wants to become strong too. Dratini nodded, letting out a croon. They made Alice smile before she remembered.

Fel had already had sweets before but since Sui and Dratini had their first meals, they should celebrate.

"Oh yeah, let's all celebrate your first meal." She told them and Fel looked over, not missing how she glanced at him secretly which made his tail flick slightly in curiosity.

"Hey, Fel, do you wanna celebrate Sui and Dratini's first meal?" She asked him, still wanting to hear his acceptance.

"Celebrate their first meal? I don't see the reason why I should decline." He accepted with a smile.

She took out a cardboard box and a sheet and laid the sheet over the box. She had taken out the lamp to give them some light source as she made a makeshift table.

"I've got just the thing." She told them before opening the online grocery to order the perfect treat and dessert for the occasion.

She ordered some tea along with desserts called dorayaki and put them in a bowl for them to share together.

"For tonight's dessert from Japan, dorayaki." She said as she laid everything together.

{Dorayaki and Green Tea}

She took two and handed them to Sui and Dratini. Sui used his tentacles to take them and handed the second one to Dratini who accepted it gladly and they all started to eat. Fel even loved it as Alice sipped some green tea after swallowing the first bite.

"So relaxing." She sighed in content after the sip as Fel licked his chomps. The dorayaki was unlike the sweets he, Alice and Vulpix had eaten before.

"This is not unlike the sweet bread I've eaten before." He commented.

"So fluffy on the outside, but the dark beans inside are significantly sweeter." He observed, using a claw to look at the beans inside the dorayaki.

"It's red bean paste." Alice explained as Fel tossed the half piece he had bitten into his mouth.

"That anpan was filled with it too." Alice explained with a smile as Sui and Dratini ate their dorayaki slowly enjoying the tasty sweets.

"But that was crushed koshion from what I read, whereas this is chunky subuon. Completely different textures, aren't they?" She continued to explain before she was cut off guard when Fel put his paws on her shoulders, shaking her slightly.

"You've got to make more koshion at once so I can compare them while it's still fresh in my mind!" He demanded but Alice could tell he was pleading as she laughed sheepishly.

"I will, but in some other time, all right, Fel?" She reassured him which made him sulk. She couldn't help but smile in pity and petted his head which he liked and he leaned against her palm as she turned to Sui and Dratini.

"Sui, Dratini, this is both your first time eating sweets. Do you like it?" She asked them and Dratini nodded excitedly while Sui shook way too energetically, dorayaki still halfway dissolved.

'I'll take that as a yes.' Alice thought, chuckling softly before it was time for them to sleep.

The next morning with the sun shining down at the forest. Fel was still laying down since Alice, Dratini and Sui were sleeping peacefully against his warm body. Fel would have preferred if Alice took out the futon and got an extra one for herself but he didn't want to deny how peaceful she looked when she was asleep last night. He would have slept longer if it weren't for the fact that Ninrir contacted him. So now he's awake and looking up at the sky.

Alice breathed softly as Fel's body provided comfort. She would have taken out the futon and got Fel some for himself but it was getting late last night and Fel did tell her that she didn't need to sleep on the floor and not to hassle herself on taking out the futon. He had surprised her when he used his tail to pull down against his side with Sui and Dratini following her as she pulled the blanket over them and she could vaguely Fel's snout nuzzling her hair before she fell asleep while being surrounded by his gentle rain and grass scent along with his warmth.

Alice stirred when she felt something cold tapping on her cheek and she stirred, blinking her eyes groggily as she sat up sleepily as Fel glanced at her.

"Finally, you're awake." He said as she rubbed the sleep off her eyes.

"Morning to you too..." She said as she yawned, petting Dratini and Sui who were both awake.

"I have something important to discuss with you. Get up at once." He said and that woke Alice up fully as she turned to him in confusion.

"Something to discuss with me?" She asked him as she got up and stretched as Fel stood up as well, stretching his body before facing her.

"So what's the big emergency? Do you have a stomachache?" Alice asked, concerned in her eyes at the last part which made his tail flicked slightly. He appreciates the concern but no, he doesn't.

"Quite impossible." He reassured her worries.

"Hear this. Last night, I received a divine message from Ninrir, Goddess of Wind." He revealed which surprised Alice but more than that, Alice could see a bit of exhaustion in his eyes.

"But did you at least sleep okay? You look like you're still tired." She said as she stood up and came to him, concern in her eyes.

"I would have slept a little longer if I didn't receive the divine message." He admitted softly as she petted his face gently and he leaned to her touch. He was touched that she was worried that he didn't get enough sleep.

"So, Ninrir, goddess of wind?" Alice asked, getting back to the subject with a smile as she pulled her hand back as she sat back down on the floor with Sui and Dratini.

"That's the same goddess who blessed you, isn't it?" She said and Fel nodded.

"To that point, you were...curious about my blessing and admitted to wishing for your own, correct?" He said as she remembered before she finally obtained the map.

"I mean, yeah, of course I do. I'm pretty content with what I have but having a blessing even if it's small would be alright." She said truthfully before she realized the implications of what he's saying. If Fel said he received a divine message before she woke up, then that means...

"Hold up, what are you saying? Do you mean that..." She said in realization.

"Yes, your wish successfully reached my goddess. What's more, she is prepared to grant it." Fel revealed much to her surprise.

"R-Really? Ninrir?" Alice was in shock and surprise. Ninrir would give her a blessing?!

"There is but one condition." Fel said and Alice looked curious but nodded.

"Tis her desire that she receive a weekly prayer offering to be comprised of otherworldly sweets." He explained and Alice's mind rebooted. Ninrir wants what?

"She, what? That's awfully specific." She admitted. As much as she would be glad to accept the blessing and send offerings but being specific on what to be given was way too suspicious.

"Unfortunately, it is impossible for you to receive a full blessing like mine. She can, however, offer you a minor blessing." Fel explained.

"Meaning, what if I received a minor one?" Alice asked curiously.

"If granted a minor blessing, you'd become immune to all status ailments with the exception of instant death and the strongest curses. You would also find it easier to use magic." Fel explained further which Alice thought about it. A blessing, full or minor, would help at least with her magic to be more efficient.

"That'd be super helpful." She admitted softly as she petted Sui while Dratini slithered onto her lap but Fel wasn't done yet.

"However... It is vital that you not neglect your duty to make a weekly offering." He told her and Alice was getting suspicious. To her, Ninrir sounds like she has a massive sweet tooth.

'He's really driving that home. Is this goddess obsessed with sweets, has a sweet tooth or something? What's her deal, anyway?' She thought suspiciously.

"This is the mercy of Ninrir. Accept it gratefully." Fel told her.

'Of course, if I can get a blessing, a minor one, in exchange for sweets even though I'm suspecting something.' She thought before sighing.

"Alright but offerings and prayers are no problem. However, what about an altar? And how do I pray exactly?" She asked him curiously.

"Anything can be used as an altar. Anything at all. You could literally use that rock over there. Likewise, the form of your prayers matters not. What's important is to effectively convey your feelings." He said, pointing to a rock as Alice contemplated. So any surface can be an altar?

"Understood." She agreed as she moved to stand up.

"I almost forgot." Fel said as she looked up at him.

"The Goddess requests that her first offering be of anpan, cream bread and the oran-pecha berry bread." He told her which made her stare in disbelief. Definitely has a sweet tooth.

"So, she has a specific order then." She said with a deadpanned stare.

'Yup, she's obsessed with sweets and has a sweet tooth, just like I thought and suspected.' Alice thought, already feeling a migraine before getting to it and ordered the requested sweets along with the addition of something to help wash it all down.

{Sweet Bread Set; Anpan, Cream Bread, Oran-Pecha Berry Bread and Milk Coffee}

"Fel, is it still an offering if she comes out and asks for it?" Alice asked him as she had arranged the sweets neatly in order before starting to pray.

"Oh, Ninrir, Goddess of Wind, I have prepared the requested items plus some milk coffee to wash them down with. In return, grant me thy blessing, I beseech thee." She prayed and she watched as the offerings were covered in a green light before disappearing, ascending to the sky and Alice felt something surrounding her as she looked at her hands in awe.

"So this is a blessing?" She asked in shock and awe and Fel had checked her status. Yup, she received the minor blessing of Ninrir though he wondered how everything will go now since Ninrir would get offerings though he can tell that it would get out of hand pretty soon.

"A minor one, but yes, it is. Seems it was successful." He agreed as Sui and Dratini looked at them happily. Fel was glad that at least Alice would be protected from illnesses.

"Thank you very much, Ninrir." Alice said in appreciation.

[Blessing] Goddess of Wind; Ninrir's Blessing (minor)

Meanwhile in the divine realm, upon accepting the offerings, Ninrir could hardly believe her eyes as she held the anpan with one hand and the milk coffee with the other which had a straw that Alice had added and she was shaking with excitement. She finally has it!

"Finally, at long last!" She said shakily, trembling with excitement and anticipation.

"This anpan even appeared in my dreams!"

She took her first tentative bite and the sweetness from it shocked yet delighted her. It's so sweet and delicious!

"So delightfully soft and fluffy! Truly, this must be the happiness humans speak of!" She exclaimed as she took another bite of the anpan.

"Incredible! This feeling... It has exactly the right amount of sweetness! The person responsible for this anpan is no less than a genius!" She said before starting to eat the anpan, squealing at the sweetness of the flavor as she sat down on the ground and before she knew it, she had already eaten the anpan completely.

"No way, how can it be gone already? It would seem this happiness is painfully fleeting." She said sadly, disappointed that the anpan is gone now. She lifted the carton of coffee milk, sipping a bit of contents through the straw and the flavor blew her away!

"This drink! It has a slight bitterness that goes with the anpan perfectly!" She never realized how the drink would pair up to the anpan but she was happy to know that it was a perfect pair before she wondered as she glanced at the two remaining sweets.

"Does it pair as well with the other sweets, I wonder?" She questioned excitedly as she reached for them but hesitated. She had told her Fenrir that she would accept weekly offerings from that otherworlder yet the temptation to just gobble the last remaining sweets was strong.

"No, I mustn't!" She told herself, trying to restrain herself.

'These sweets are too precious. I owe it to myself to savor them one at a time! Yes, savor them one at a time...' She thought but her body refused as she shakily reached for the sweets before snatching both of them, opening the wrappers, giving in to her obsession.

She took a bite of the cream bread first before the oran-pecha berry bread. They were too delicious!

"No fair! How am I supposed to resist them when they're so tasty?!" She wailed, lamenting at her weak resistance for sweets when they're this good! She stopped, realizing she forgot to ask another sweet with the first offering!

"Wait! I forgot to ask for dorayaki!" Yup, she definitely has a sweet tooth and an obsession with sweets.

Back with the group, with the minor blessing, Alice decided to practice her earth magic, wanting to see if this blessing really helped her magic at all with Sui and Dratini watching curiously.

"Stone bullet!" She exclaimed and the stone that came from it wasn't the size of a small pebble as it shot out of her hand and hit the tree, leaving a mark as she smiled in relief. It had made her earth magic more efficient now and the speed and size were perfect too.

"A direct hit!" She smiled happily.

"Okay, that one felt pretty good. The size of the rock is much bigger now and the speed increased significantly." She observed as she looked down at the two who were looking up at her.

"This is all thanks to Ninrir's blessing. I feel great and I feel like I'm growing by leaps and bounds too." She said softly as Sui bounced happily, happy for Mama to become stronger with Dratini nodding.

"Thanks, guys. And as for you two, you're at level 13 and 12 already." She smiled at them with a smile. They had been travelling and stopping now and Alice had been helping Dratini level up through Pokémon training which helped Dratini a lot even Sui was happy for her.

"If you keep getting stronger, you might even evolve, especially you, Dratini." She told them and Sui tilted slightly to the side, confused while Dratini looked hopeful.

"Well, a normal girl like me needs a lot of practice to improve. Let's continue." Alice resumed her training for the next hour.

At the last stone bullet, Alice finally felt exhausted as she bent slightly, leaning on her knees, panting heavily. She had practiced a lot and she can tell she improved a little with earth magic. Sui and Dratini came to her, worried for her.

"I'm beat..." She panted heavily as she stood up shakily before going for her bag. She had discovered that eating sweets with sugar helps her replenish her magic significantly.

'Using too much magic seriously does a number on me.' She thought in exhaustion as she rummaged through her bag and pulled out a chocolate bar along with some light coffee. She's not a fan of coffee but coffee that's not too bitter helps.

"At times like these, turn to sweets." She muttered softly as she opened the wrapper and took a bite, munching slowly while letting the chocolate melt in her mouth as Sui and Dratini came to her, curious by what she was eating.

'So sweet...' Alice thought in relief before sipping the coffee.

"And adding an element of bitterness on top of that creates a perfect harmony. They should try making chocolate coffee one day." She said in content and relief as she sat down to continue eating before Sui's chirping with a small headbutt from Dratini made her look at them. They were eyeing the chocolate and looking at her.

"Do you two want some too?" She asked them with Sui bobbing happily with Dratini nodding before splitting the chocolate in equal pieces and gave them to Sui and Dratini who immediately ate them, loving the sweetness of it.

"Well, you two asked nicely but I don't wanna spoil you two too much." She told them. She soon sat down against a tree, Dratini on her shoulders with Sui resting in her arms, waiting for their absent member.

"I figured Fel would at least be back by now." Alice pondered as she remembered that Fel had left earlier.

"There's something bothering me." Was all he said before running off somewhere in the forest but she knows he'll be back once he has investigated something.

"And just like that, he took off after placing the barrier on us." She thought as Sui bobbed in agreement with Dratini.

Alice sensed Fel's aura and magic approaching and she turned just as he came back.

"I have returned." He called, walking to them as she smiled.

"Oh, there you are, Fel. I was wondering what took you so long." Alice smiled warmly which made his tail wag slightly before he paused as he sniffed the air. Did Alice ate something while he was gone?

"Did you eat something in my absence?" He asked her and she just smiled sheepishly but apologetically.

"Sorry but I needed it." She apologized before she showed him an extra chocolate bar she's planning to give Lucario later.

"Earth magic practice really took it out of me earlier. So I ate a sweet called chocolate for some energy since eating food containing sugar helps replenish energy." She explained as he came to her.

He was worried of course but he checked her stats using appraisal, letting out an internal sigh when he saw that her magic was replenishing. So eating this chocolate helps regain some energy back along with rest? He wondered what this sweet tastes like.

"Sweets, you say? You know all that running wore me out. Thus I too require chocolate." He told her as she looked at him skeptically but she can tell he wants to try the chocolate.

"Really? All that running wore you out?" She asked him, tone teasing as she smiled slightly.

"You're a legendary beast who could probably take down a country if he wants to." She said playfully. Fel sensed the teasing and playfulness in her tone which made his lips quirk upward. So she is teasing now? He decided to lay down by her feet, playing along.

"Still, running all over with you on my back is no easy feat. I have grown too tired to move." He said, hoping that she gives him at least a taste of chocolate.

Alice just chuckled and petted his head as she put the chocolate bar away.

"You're such a big baby. All right." She opened the online grocery and purchased Fel some chocolate to try which perked him up, ears twitching when her hand brushed against his ears.

To say the least, Fel started to eat the chocolate once she had taken them out of the wrappers and she couldn't help but laugh softly with how fast he lit up once he saw the chocolate on the large plate.

"What a rich sweetness. I do not dislike it." He admitted, chuckling in delight.

"That's great. Looks like you and Lucario have a love for chocolate." Alice thought with Sui and Dratini watching Fel eat.

"Can you hear me? It is I, Ninrir, Goddess of WInd." She heard a voice by her ear and her eyes widened. Is that Ninrir talking to her?!

"Ninrir?" She spoke in surprise though she was a little confuse why she's contacting her now. The weekly offering isn't due until the week ended.

"This is a divine message." Ninrir told, tone majestic.

"A divine message for me?" Alice asked her skeptically.

"Please listen carefully. I would like you to make me an offering of chocolate. Immediately." Alice was in disbelief. Ninrir was speaking to her under the impression it was a divine message only to tell her to give her chocolate? Is she serious?

"Oh, that's right. Put some dorayaki in there as well." Ninrir said, her true colors showing.

"So, uh, this is a divine message or something you want to do just to tell me you want something?" Alice asked her, growing wary.

"A very divine message, yes."

"You're not just crazy, doing this just to tell me you want something." Alice said, growing even more wary.

"It's divine, okay?" Alice can hear that Ninrir kept insisting it is a divine message but she can tell it wasn't a divine message. Strike one.

"But, wait, hold on. There's no way it's been more than a few days since my last offerings." Alice said, wanting to see how she would react.

"What happened to the whole once a week agreement?" Alice said and she can tell Ninrir was getting frustrated.

"Oh, give me a break! Even gods and goddesses need a treat once in a while!" Ninrir whined in annoyance and Alice knew she was on thin ice. Strike two.

"Your true colors are showing, you know?" Alice said as she opened the online grocery, ordering the chocolate bar.

"So about the other sweets..." She inquired.

"They're long gone, obviously." Ninrir said, proud of herself. Strike three.

"That's pretty much what I figured." Alice sighed as purchased the chocolate sweets. She purchased a Ghana chocolate bar followed by a crunchy chocolate with crispy bits along with dorayaki and offered them to Ninrir through the offerings. The offerings disappeared, vanishing upwards as Alice watched in annoyance.

"Wicked sick!" She heard Ninrir cheered before she relaxed, glad that Ninrir would step demanding sweets for a while. But for how long, she doesn't know.

"Now where would she have picked that up?" Alice wondered with a deadpanned stare as she put the box into her item box as Fel came to her.

"Showing such devotion to prayer, I'm very impressed." He told her as she sighed and turned to him.

"Actually, I'm not so much praying as being preyed upon by a goddess who is obsessed with sweets and has a big sweet tooth." Alice told him.

She jolted when Fel used his nose to push against her back to nudge her forward as she looked at him in confusion and surprise.

"At any rate, if you're finished, then let us depart." He told her.

"Climb aboard! Get moving!" He insisted, nudging her urgently as she was confused.

"What are you doing, Fel?" She asked him as she grabbed her bag where Dratini and Sui were inside before climbing onto his back and he got up.

"Is there some reason to hurry?" Alice asked him and he jolted.

"No, no, not at all." He reassured her though Alice could tell he was hiding something before he took them somewhere in the forest, running through the trees as Alice held on.

"Tell me, how is your earth magic proceeding? Did your practice yield any improvement?" Fel asked her, changing the subject.

"Yeah. I mean. I can still shoot out one stone, but both the power and speed have improved a lot from where they used to be yesterday." Alice said, smiling at the progress she had made even if it was a little.

Fel glanced at her, seeing her smile. He couldn't help but feel a surge of pride on her improvement even if it was small but he has to make sure she masters it. So he was taking her there.

"It seems I must take you there after all." He said quietly but Alice heard him.

"Hmm? What did you say, Fel?" She asked him curiously but he brushed her off. She might react negatively once more. He needs to at least take her there first.

"Nevermind." He said, continuing on with his stride to their destination.

Another World Serving: Divine Realm

In the divine realm before Ninrir had contacted Fel or Alice to tell her to send her offerings, Ninrir was kneeling by the viewing pool, looking down in the dumps before she grew frustrated.

"She didn't fight away!" She exploded, gripping her hair.

"I've had my eye on her ever since I learned of that human's ability to summon otherworldly ingredients! And she can produce sweets too!" Ninrir lamented dramatically before looking back to the viewing pool, watching Fel, Vulpix and Alice before Sui and Dratini joined them, eating the sweets Alice purchased.

She whined dramatically, deflating towards the ground.

"Anpan..." She whined hopelessly.

Ninrir started to imagine the anpan bread, salivating at the idea of getting to eat it.

"Its essentially sweetness speaks to the very core of my being." She said dreamily.

"How I long to taste it myself!" She shook her head immediately. No! She must not give into her urge!

"But I can't interfere so lightly! The other gods would judge me!" She scolded herself, knowing if they found out, they would want something too! But she can't stop imagining of getting to eat anpan one day.

"Oh, anpan!"

She soon grew frustrated with herself. Curse her and her sweet tooth!

"This is so unfair! I want to eat anpan! Why don't I get to eat anpan?!" She exploded, crying desperately. She wants that anpan!
