The next day, Ewan woke up very early again. All winter long, he had developed a habit of sleeping in, burrowing into the Alpha's embrace until noon, so waking up this early was a rare event. Because of this, the Omega wasn't quite used to it, sitting up but constantly rubbing his eyes.
Finally, unable to resist the bed's temptation, he snuggled back into the cotton blanket to laze around a bit more.
"I told you, if you can't get up, just sleep in. There's no need to wake up so early."
Ewan tossed and turned. Blinking his sleepy eyes, he saw the Alpha walking in with a basin of water. He giggled, offering his face so Asher could wipe it with a warm, damp towel, and mumbled, "I have to get used to waking up early. Otherwise, by summer, I'll still be sleeping until noon."
"Then just sleep. I can handle the work around the house."
"Pfft, Simon will definitely drop by in the next few days. If I'm still asleep then, I'll be laughed at."
