The small courtyard of the Village Head suddenly fell dead silent, nobody had expected Ewan to act in such a manner.
A few middle-aged women standing nearby looked at Ewan with eyes full of sympathy, some even nodding slightly, muttering under their breath that this boy was too kind, and that Asher Ryder was truly blessed to have an Omega like him. The men remained silent, but the gazes they directed toward Ewan and Asher Ryder visibly softened.
Even the Village Head was caught off guard. He stared at Ewan for a long moment before asking slowly, "Are you sure? This is the legitimate right of your household."
