"Pew pew!!!" Dusty's high-pitched vocalization echoed clearly, vibrating with a palpable sense of joy and excitement that was easily visible to the naked eye. The little creature opened its small mouth, ravenously wolfing down a few mushroom caps as a snack before enthusiastically setting to work.
With the most hazardous and difficult harvest out over the deep lake water fully delegated to the trustworthy little Slime, Ewan and Simon could finally breathe a sigh of relief. Their only responsibility now was to safely pluck the remaining mushroom caps sprouting from the desiccated trunk resting on solid ground. Thanks to their rhythmic coordination and ceaselessly nimble hands, it was not long before they had finished their share, stuffing a large cloth bag until it bulged significantly with their bounty.
