(Kinryu's POV)
"What did you say?!" Ogi exclaimed as he stood up, and placed his hand on his sword's handle, "You dare insult me this way?!"
Naobito was looking at me with surprise, "You're joking, right?" He said, "You demand a married woman, my brother's wife at that?"
"I hold grudges." I said with a serious expression, "If you really want to get your hands on the Ten Shadows, Naobito, I demand for something worth my time. Satoru won't give him up so easily, you know. Give me this woman up front and I'll go and get it done. I have to mark her as mine first too."
The woman let out a gasp, shrinking her body away as Ogi's anger was obvious.
Ogi drew his blade, pointing it at me, "I will not stand by and allow you to freely insult me in my own home." He said with an enraged look, "You will-"
"Calm your ass down, brother." Naobito said, "Stand down."
"I'm serious about this." I said, not flinching at the katana's blade being inches from my face, "Naobito."
He began to chuckle, "You're one crazy fucker, you know that right?" He said, "A married woman is out of the question, Kinryu-kun."
"Then, no deal." I said, "Unless you give me your nieces."
"What?" He tilted his head in confusion, "Maki and Mai?"
"Sure." I said, "If they're free from the Zenin Clan's clutches, I'll gladly take them. I'll make sure they live their lives free from this place."
"Out of the question." Ogi said, "You get one, not both."
"Obviously, I don't mean it." I said, "I don't treat women as currency to discuss for trade. If I wanted any of them, I take them in my own way. And get that blade out of my face, unless you want me to put a hole in you, Ogi."
"You disrespectful son of a bitch." Ogi said, "I will make sure that-"
"Shut the fuck up, Ogi!" Naobito exclaimed, "Sit down!!!"
Ogi sheathed his blade, "Very well...." He said, glaring at me, "He mentions my wife again and I will have no choice but to cut him."
"If you can." I said, crossing my arms
"Listen, Kinryu-kun." Naobito said, "We're willing to make a deal, that's why I called you. But you have to be reasonable."
"I am being reasonable." I said, "Give me one of your daughters, Naobito, and Ogi's wife. I'll make sure she is well taken care of, your sister-in-law, that is."
Ogi got back up, drawing his blade and swinging it at me with impressive speed, "You...!!!"
I dodged the swing by moving my head to the side, feeling the pressure of the swing. I then raised my hand and activated my Cursed Technique.
"Qurious Affliction"
"Dammit!" Naobito scowled, "Ogi!!"
Ogi was then covered in multiple shikigami that were blood red in color, with three-pronged wings on each side and a pronged tail. They attached themselves on his body; two on his neck, three on his chest, and one on each hand.
These were my Qurio, shikigami that were a part of my Cursed Technique. They were the parasites that a Malzeno was in a symbiotic relationship with, used to feed on other monsters.
Ogi widened his eyes as his wife let out a scared gasp, "T-This....!!!"
The Qurio began to emit a faint red glow, the light spreading throughout his body and resembling a spectral flame. He then collapsed to his knees as his eyes were slowly closing, the shikigami doing their work. They had latched onto his body with their circular mouth, their rows of teeth digging into his flesh and began to suck on his blood and cursed energy.
"Dammit, Kinryu, let him go." Naobito said
I waved my hand, "Fine then."
The Qurio then unlatched from him and floated towards my arm, latching onto it and the light spread throughout my arm, fueling me with Ogi's power.
Ogi was panting, "D-Damn you...."
"Enough of this." Naobito said, "Think about our offer. And for fuck's sake, try not to start a war."
I stood up, feeling how the Qurio merged into my body and disappeared, "Tch..." I said, "Naobito, do me a favor and shut the fuck up. Don't you dare offer me this type of shit. Megumi is his own person, he will make the decision to join the Clan when he is older."
I turned around and made my way to the door, opening it.
"Fine then!" Naobito said, "But the offer is still up."
"I know what you intend to do." I looked at him, "You not only want the Ten Shadows, but you want my power as well, greedy fucker."
I walked out of the room and closed the door behind me, beginning to walk down the hallway.
As I walked, I saw a certain figure leaning against the wall. It looked like a woman, wearing a black and dark green kimono. She had long hair, blonde in color with dark green highlights. She had a sneering look on her face, a smirk forming on her mouth. Even with the kimono on her body, I could tell that she had a curvaceous body.
I reached the woman, "And you...?"
"I heard the whole thing." She said, her smug eyes staring right at me, "Should my cousins hear about this, they will throw a fit."
"And?" I said, "You got a problem with them not wanting to be treated like objects?"
"Women should know their place." She said with a sneer, "Their only role in this world is to serve men and bear them children. Unless they are strong, that is. If they're weak and contribute nothing to the clan, they should shut the fuck up and spread their legs. Maki and Mai are identical, to a point. They have pretty faces and good bodies, nice thighs and breasts that are good sizes. But they are not like me, much prettier and with a better body. And they are also weak, compared to me."
"Your point?" I asked
She smirked even more, stepping forward, "If they throw a fit, they should be reminded of their place." She said as she reached for my shirt, "They should only be pretty and wait for someone to marry them, to carry on the Zenin bloodline."
"Awfully rich, coming from another woman." I said with a scowl, "Also, don't touch me, Naoya."
Naoya Zenin, one of Naobito's daughters. She was a really stupid woman, I swear.
"Why bother in looking at those weaklings and Ogi's wife?" She said as she pulled me down to her face, "When you can have me. I could be your woman to serve you well in bed. But not just that, I am not weak like my cousins."
"I am the right choice for you."
