It has been four days since Rostam has collapse, the Knights of Favonius were concerned on what had cause the Second Acting Grand Master to suddenly bleed and collapse. Many in Mondstadt were concerned at the current condition of Rostam, Some say it was the work of the Fatui, Others pointed at the Abyss, Many believe it was jealous rivals that wanted to end him, All these speculation and not one was aimed at the Blonde and her Floating companion as they were at good hunter eating before heading towards Storm terrors lair.
"It's been 4 Days since Mr. Rostam fell unconscious... Paimon is worried that he won't be able to wake up." Paimon nibles on an apple as Lumine was trying her best to find a connection on all of this.
"If only they'd allowed us to visit Rostam..." Lumine mutters as she remembered how the Negotiations to see Rostam in the church went.
"Your not allowed " a Nun at the church declined both Lumine and Paimon as Klee was allowed to enter.
"Huh?! How Come?" Paimon looked at the Nun in surprised as she was confused on why they aren't allowed.
"By the will of the Head priest, Only Family and close friends may see Master Rostam." The Nun said as she bowed to both of them before closing the Church's door.
"It's still doesn't make sense on why no one other than Klee and Master Jean are allowed to visit him." Paimon voiced her confusion as she picked up another Sweet Madame and began to eat the dish as if it was going to disappear.
"Paimon, Manners..." Lumine looked at her flying guide with a deadpan as her thoughts went back towards the Moment she showed the sketch to Rostam.
"If only we could get into the medical ward of the Church..." Lumine mutters cause they had an opportunity two days ago to visit him but they were in a tight schedule at the time and couldn't afford it, so in the end they went towards the Lyre.
"Paimon wonders what was the cause of Mr. Rostams suddenly declined when he looked at that sketch... " Paimon stops for a bit as she looked at Lumine with curiosity as she doesn't know how Rostam's Health suddenly declined.
"I wonder as well..." Lumine replied as she ate her Firsher Man's toast. As this was going on Rostam has finally awoken from his coma as he looked at the unfamiliar ceiling as he slowly sat up but felt something was on his chest, He looked down and saw Klee sleeping on his chest as she fell asleep while drawing.
"...What happened? Where am I, And why is Klee here with me?" Rostam was trying to remember what happened until he remembered the last thing he did before fainting.
"Aether... So that was your sister, Right?" Rostam gently nurses his head as he isn't feeling the massive headache from before but a slightly bearable one.
The sound of paper and something hitting the floor was heard as Rostam looked down as he saw Klee in her blanket accidentally pushed her drawing and art supplies as she continues to sleep, upon looking closer Rostam could see that she was having a dream as she pulled the blanket closer to her as she was talking in her sleep.
"Papa... Mama made me a jumpy Dumpy... Mama says papa isn't allowed to go somewhere without Mama's permission..." Klee mumbles as she slowly held the blanket near her.
Rostam held a small smile on his face as he gently used telekinesis (Gifted by Asmoday for completing a Dangerous request.) to gently lift Klee of him but he made sure that she wasn't disturbed, after getting out of the bed he gently placed klee on it as he looked outside and saw that it was nearing Lunch time.
"Was I really that out for that long?" Rostam ask as he noticed a presence in the Room.
"Thank you for watching over me Rosaria, I hope that this didn't mess up with your duty." Rostam calmly apologize to someone as they soon appeared out of their hiding spot as it was a Nun with a pale (Author: i think she is pale?) complexion as she had a Cryo Vision with her.
"It's nothing to worry about Rostam, It's the least I could do for all the times you bailed me out of church duties." Rosaria smile gently as she took her dagger out as she inspects its edge, Rostam Smiles as he soon noticed the monstrous pile of documents on a nearby table.
"... Let me guess... Lisa?" "Lisa." Rosaria answered instantly as Rostam sighs in frustration as he knows why Lisa did this.
"...Did Jean-" "She Tried too but everyone made sure she didn't accidentally kill herself with this amount of work, I still can't help but be amazed on how you are not insane yet." Rosaria soon sheathes her dagger as she looks at Rostam with a grin as he rolled his eyes on her attempt in praising him and his never ending torture in Politics and Governing.
"So... What's the situation right now?" Rostam taps the floor lightly as he used his Modified Vision (A Gift made by the Shades after being their greatest "Ally" for Thousands of years with them), he infused his foot with geo as he used it to do a seismic sensing.
It was a technique that Rostam made when in certain past lives that he only had Geo, It basically allows the user to detect minute vibrations in the ground, providing a 360-degree, sonar-like, high-precision mental image of their surroundings, even through walls he can sense people on the other side.
After making sure no one was near by to ease drop under conversation, he nods at Rosaria as she nods back and soon took out a notebook from her pocket as she began to inform Rostam of Monds current situation.
"Well after you fell unconscious, The Fatui Activity has increased tremendously. Then I saw that blonde girl with her flying companion as they were trying to steal the Holy Lyre der Himmel..." "Wait they tried to steal it?" Rostam interrupts Rosaria as she nods at him and began to list off again.
"Then a Fatui Cicin mage appeared and ran away with the Holy Lyre der Himmel, the guards station there heard the commotion and the girl and her companion hurriedly escaped with some outside assistance." Rosaria flip to another page in her notebook as Rostam was having a massive headache from hearing this.
"After that I followed them towards the bar owned by Mr. Diluc and quietly went towards the second floor to spy on their operations." "So Diluc got dragged into this as well... How did things go out of control so fast?" Rostam ponders as he took out a little Dodoco that was the size of a cookie as it had a little bards hat on it as it bounced on his hand.
"Hey Wendy, Can you hear me?" The Dodoco paused for a little bit before it grew twice it sized as Rostam had to use his other hand to support the big Dodoco.
"Hi Hi~! It's so good to hear you again! Why haven't you called! Do you know how worried I was these past few days?!" The Dodoco happily bounce but it soon tried to hit it's tail on Rostam's hand as Rosaria took out a flask and opens it.
"No matter how many times i see it, I can't believe you've made these things just to communicate with people your close too." Rosaria took a swig of her drink as Rostam chuckles a bit before focusing on the Dodoco in his hands.
"Heya Wendy. Sorry for not calling as much as I used to..." Rostam apologize as the Dodoco stopped it's assault as it wrapped its tail around itself as if crossing it's arms.
"I'll forgive you... Only if you promise me a date later~." Rostam sweats a bit as he was sure that this mischievous girl was doing this just to get into his pants, just like Alice and many others before her.
"I'll... I'll think about it..." Rostam silently prayed to Barbatos that Alice wasn't hearing this conversation, cause if she is... He might get sealed away by her.
(On Alice's location)
"That Little-!!" "Mrs. Alice, Please Calm-Guh!!" "Grand Master Varka, Help!!" The Knights of Favonius station at Nod-krai were trying their best to stop Alice from trying to go back to Mondstadt and finding this Wendy girl.
"How Dare That Homewrecker Try To Steal My Eddy From Me and My Baby Girl!" "Where is Grand Master Varka and The Captain when we need them?!" As the Knights were trying to hold Alice down, Varka was drunk in his tent as Lohen was trying his best to wake the drunk Grand Master.
(On Wendy's Location)
We go to a broken and abandoned location as many Monster roamed the place as the roar of a dragon was heard, it was Storm terrors lair and in the highest point of that territory was the group with Lumine, Paimon, Diluc, Jean, And Venti. Both Paimon and Lumine went out of the tower to unlock the seal to enter Storm terrors lair while the rest waits at the seals entrance.
"Come on Wendy, You know I'm married already..." The tired and helpless voice of Rostam was heard as Venti held the Dodoco with a Fedora on it's little head as it bounced in his hand as Venti had a happy smile on his face.
"Nope~! It's either you take me on a date or i just ignore you for the rest of the week." Venti said smugly as he can hear the wind telling him how much Rostam was trying his best not to get Sealed away by Alice but the winds that came from Nod-krai tells a different story.
"...F-Fine... At least I'll get sealed away for Monds Sake..." The Dodoco's ears droops as it whimpers reflecting Rostams current feelings.
"Sorry not sorry old friend but your husband is my old buddy and I won't let slip through my hands again." Venti look at the Dodoco in his hand as he remembered his reunion with his old friend.
(Flashback)
"Man... Master Diluc really isn't letting me have any more wine until I pay my tab..." Venti had a frown on his face as he got kicked out of Angle's share, his tab had reached over a 1 Million Mora and Diluc had enough of Venti's Constant leeching and soon he kicked him out.
"...But what if I just... Ehe." Venti soon found a secluded area and soon changed himself into a Girl as his clothes adjust to his new physique, the winds obscure anyone that happen to pass by the area as he was transforming.
"Hehe... Now I can come back without causing Master Diluc to suspect a Thing! But I should think of a new name, Otherwise Master Diluc will suspect i change clothes in order to get back in." Venti had a smug smile but it turned into a thoughtful expression as he tried his best to think of names for his Female persona.
"Aura? Nah, sounds like a Nun than a Bard. Anemone? A Mouth full but People might think that this persona might be my secret Daughter. Esen? Too Sumeru for my taste. Zephyrine? Almost Sound like I'm from Snezhnaya..." Venti closed his eyes as he crossed his arms under his chest as he was deep in thought for a new name. After a lot of time thinking, he decided to land on one name.
" Hmm... How about, Wendy?" Venti suggest as he gave it a few test before he was satisfied with the name.
"Alright! From now on, In this form I am Wendy. A brand new bard that just arrived at Mondstadt, hoping to become a star in the Land Of Freedom." Venti or in this form Wendy, went towards Angle's share. Hoping that his new persona can fool the Master of the Bar. But upon entering the streets he soon saw Diluc talking to something Infront of the tavern.
"Oh? And who is this person that Master Diluc is talking too?" Wendy wonders as she listens to the winds in order to listen to the conversation.
"Thanks again for Covering up for me, Senior Rostam. I know it's not right for me to asked a favor from you but I kinda tied up at the moment." Diluc apologize as Rostam shakes his head as he placed his hand on his shoulder.
"It's alright Diluc, you don't have to apologize for anything. Just... Make sure to dispose of the bodies carefully next time." Rostam had to come urgently from head quarters to Diluc as he received an urgent request from Diluc's bird to meet up at Angle's share. When he got their, Diluc told him about his situation and Suffice to say, Diluc is in big trouble.
"Thanks again Senior Rostam, I'll have the finest Wine ready for you once things settle down." Diluc soon left, as he needs to get to his Mansion to both get the tools to hide the bodies but also people to give him an Alibi on where he was yesterday.
"This kid, I swear someone will expose him one of these days... And I know Kaeya wouldn't have the guts to do it." Rostam shakes his head as he went towards the bar as he wanted to get a quick drink before going back to work.
Venti or Wendy saw this and couldn't help but sigh that she put all this effort into her disguise only for the one person she planned to deceive to immediately leave.
"But I'll keep it on, just in case Diluc ordered one of the Bartenders to fobid me from getting any wine." Wendy softly spoke as she soon entered Angle's share and soon saw Rostam at the Bar with the Bartender Giving him a Non-alcoholic Drink.
"You're Four Seasons, Master Rostam." The Bartender placed the drink Infront of Rostam as it had a blend of Fruits of other Nations mixed into one, Rostam smiled as he took a sip and sighs in satisfaction.
"Thank you for this marvelous blend, Keep the Change." Rostam soon handed him a bag of Mora as the Bartender took and counted the mora, Rostam Soon heard the Chair besides him moved as he turned to his side and Saw Wendy sitting besides him as she looked around the bar for a bit.
"Excuse me ma'am but are you related to someone called Venti?" The Bartender asked as Wendy shook her head to say No.
"Then I Apologies for the Rude Question, Master Diluc told me to cut off the young man Incase he comes back to try to leech off again." The Bartender said as he began to clean a glass as Wendy was glad that she didn't turn back.
"Good thing I was careful, otherwise I would have never been given wine!" Wendy Thought as a glass of Four Seasons was pass Infront of her,she looked up at the Bartender in confusion.
" A Welcome Gift from Master Rostam, Since you are new to Mondstadt. He decided to gift you something easy before ordering anything in our bar. And don't worry, He'll pay for anything you decided to Order." Wendy looked at her side to see Rostam drinking before he looks back at her, he set his drink down as he gave her a friendly smile.
"Don't Worry, Think of this as my way of Welcoming you to A Home away from Home." Wendy smiled at the kind gesture as she take a sip of the drink and was pleasantly surprised by it.
"It's not wine but I can actually get use to this." Wendy Thought as she soon eyes on the wines on the shelves as they were the ones she Orders as Venti whenever the bar was open for business, Rostam caught what she was looking at and couldn't help but sigh at what she was eyeing.
"You're finest Wine for miss...?" Rostam looked at Wendy as she figured out what he wanted to do for her.
"Wendy... My name is Wendy." Wendy spoke timidly, trying to act the part of a foreigner that just entered a city they don't know.
"One of your finest wine for miss Wendy, please." The Bartender nods as he took a bottle out of the racks as he placed it in a bucket of ice to chill it for a better taste.
"Thank you... I wish I could pay you back for this. How about a song or two, for the wine and drink." Wendy said as she took out a Lyre behind her as Rostam looked at the lyre with a Hint of Nastalgia in his eyes.
"How about a Duet? I hope you don't mind." Rostam summons a Lyre as he gently holds it as both he and Wendy began playing their Lyre.

As Rostam took the lead they both began to play the same Melody as everyone in the Bar listen to this soft yet heartfelt melody, Wendy's eyes widen as she never thought she would hear this melody again. It brings her back to the days when she was just only a little Wind spirit following around a Nameless bard as he was trying to come up with a melody that both of them would remember I'm their entire lifetime.
"How does this sound Barbatos?" The young bard played this melody as a young Barbatos enjoyed it, Dancing around as the bard laughed at the wind Spirits energetic personality.
"I'm Glade That You Like It, I just wish I know what to call it." The Bard frowned as he began to think of names that will perfectly suit the brand new Melody, it took some time before he finally came up with a name.
"I Know! Let's Call it-!" "Hopes and Dreams..." Wendy didn't know what was happening but her body was playing on Autopilot as she followed along with Rostam as her eyes began to water as memories of a Bygone days began to resurface in her mind.
"Hehe, I never thought you could keep up with me... but it seems the Mood of the Melody has Affected you quite a bit." Rostam was impressed that the girl besides him could keep up but he soon saw that she was in the brink of tears as he should have chosen another song than this one.
"N-No... No. It was a wonderful Melody... I just got something in my eye." Wendy wipes her tear filled eyes as Rostam continues to play the Melody with ease.
"Thank you for the compliment... I bet my buddy would have been excited to hear the praised." Rostam looked down on his lyre as he gently rubs his thumb on the engraved design of a wind spirit on it, Wendy saw the Engraved design as her eyes stares a bit as she saw how Rostam was petting the engraved design.
"...What is that on your Lyre?" Wendy decided to be bold as she wants to know if Rostam was her Old friend.
"Believe it or not, this little one was named Barbatos." Wendy's eyes widen as she knew that Elemental wisp are impossible to meet and she should know, She is one but it was the name that surprised her.
"Yup, the name of the Anemo Archon is my buddies name as well." Rostam soon stopped playing as everyone in the Bar applaud asany rise their drinks to toast for the great music.
"It was great to meet you Wendy, but I have to go now. Work isn't finished and I'm not letting Jean die Overwhelmed by Paperwork. Farewell!" Rostam waved goodbye as he left the Bar leaving Wendy standing until she sat down as she had a small smile on her face.
"It seems that an old friend has finally come back home." Wendy smiled as she enjoys the wine as the Noise of the tavern quiets down.

"I hope you keep your promise." Venti smiled as the Dodoco soon shrank as he placed the little one in his pocket as he soon went towards Jean and Diluc as Paimon and Lumine were finished with the Puzzle as the seal was weakened.
