Chapter 10 - Chapter 10, The Gate of Blood and Destruction

Chris was fighting the demons standing before him—alone.

No… this wasn't a battle.

It was a slaughterhouse.

One by one, demons kept falling.

Not dozens.

Not hundreds—

Thousands had already been erased from existence.

The Realm of Blood had finally lived up to its cursed name.

There was no soil left beneath Chris's feet—only thick, dark blood. It clung to the ground like a second skin, warm and alive. Every step he took made a wet, crushing sound. The air itself had changed… heavy, suffocating, filled with the metallic scent of death.

Breathing here felt like inhaling violence.

Chris stood in the middle of it all… completely untouched.

Not a single drop of blood stained him.

He slowly turned his head, observing the corpses scattered endlessly across the battlefield.

And then—

He laughed.

A cold… mocking laugh.

"Seriously…?"

His voice echoed, filled with pure disappointment.

"Are they really playing games with me?"

His eyes darkened.

"Trying to kill me with such weak demons…?"

He stepped forward.

Each step carried a strange weight—like the realm itself was reacting to his presence.

Not far away, something caught his attention.

A cave.

But it wasn't just any cave.

It was dark—unnaturally dark. The kind of darkness that didn't just exist… it consumed. The entrance looked like a mouth, slightly open, as if waiting… watching.

Calling him.

Chris stopped.

His gaze sharpened.

"This way…"

A faint energy brushed against his senses.

"There's something here…"

He narrowed his eyes further.

"Something strange."

He took another step.

The closer he got, the clearer it became.

"I didn't expect to find this kind of energy even here…"

His voice dropped.

"This feels exactly like that 'Ki'…"

"…the one leaking from the Human Realm."

For a moment, everything went silent.

"But this…"

His expression turned serious.

"This is far darker."

The energy around the cave pulsed slowly—like a heartbeat.

"The Ki in the Human Realm was mixed… light and darkness together."

"But this…"

His eyes glowed faintly.

"This is pure darkness."

A slight smile formed on his lips.

"Maybe…"

"…this is what I've been looking for."

And then—

BOOM!!!

The ground shook violently.

A massive shadow dropped in front of the cave, blocking the entrance completely.

Chris didn't move.

But his eyes shifted upward.

A dragon stood before him.

Its body was enormous—covered in pitch-black scales that seemed harder than any metal. Flames burned within its eyes, not ordinary fire… but destruction itself. Each breath it took released waves of heat that distorted the space around it.

"Stop right there, boy."

Its voice echoed like thunder, shaking the very bones of the realm.

"Do you even understand where you've stepped?"

Its gaze sharpened.

"This territory…"

"…belongs to me."

The air trembled.

"The territory of the Dragon of Destruction."

A heavy silence followed.

"Turn back now…"

Its voice dropped into a deadly whisper.

"Or you will die here."

Chris smiled.

And walked forward.

"Dragon of Destruction…?"

He chuckled.

"That's a new one."

He cracked his neck slightly.

"First time I've heard such a title."

Energy began to rise from his body—slowly at first, then violently.

The ground beneath him cracked.

"Come on…"

He lifted his hand.

"Let's test something."

His eyes locked onto the dragon.

"Whether you kill me…"

"…or I kill you."

The dragon's eyes turned blood-red.

"Arrogant human…"

"Are you eager to die?"

In the next instant—

Inferno Flames exploded forward.

Hell itself seemed to have been unleashed. The fire roared toward Chris like a living entity, devouring everything in its path.

But—

Chris raised one finger.

And the flames—

Stopped.

Completely frozen in mid-air.

Like time itself had been halted.

In a calm voice, he said,

"I expected the Guardians of this realm to be something impressive…"

His eyes turned cold.

"But you…"

"…look like toys."

The dragon stared at him for a moment.

And then—

It laughed.

A deep, terrifying laugh.

"You think that was my power?"

Its voice darkened.

"I haven't even shown you a fraction of it."

It spread its wings.

"I am a dragon."

The air cracked.

"A DRAGON!"

Dark energy gathered in its mouth—

And then—

Dark Dragon Energy Blast!!!

Before Chris could react—

BOOOOM!!!

He was blown away.

His body smashed into the ground, carving a deep crater.

For a moment—

Silence.

Chris slowly pushed himself up.

His body trembled slightly.

"That attack…"

His eyes narrowed.

"I stopped the flames so easily…"

"Then how did this—"

He looked at his body.

Injured.

Badly.

But then—

A faint glow appeared.

His wounds began to heal.

Flesh reconnecting. Bones stabilizing.

In seconds—

He stood again.

"This isn't a joke anymore…"

He raised his hand.

"Sword of Earth—manifest."

The ground beneath him responded.

A blade formed instantly.

The dragon's expression changed.

"Elemental power…?"

Its voice grew serious.

"The power of the Five Elements…?"

It stared at him carefully now.

"Except for Mahadev… Narayan… Brahma… and Mother Adishakti…"

"No one has ever wielded this properly."

Its eyes narrowed.

"Who… are you?"

Chris didn't answer.

He attacked.

BOOM!!!

The strike landed.

But—

Nothing happened.

Not even a scratch.

Chris froze for a second.

Then—

Fire sword.

Attack.

Still nothing.

The dragon smiled.

"So weak…"

"This is the level of a human."

"If you were Mahadev…"

"…my scales would have shattered instantly."

Chris clenched his teeth.

He combined all five elements.

A new sword formed.

Stronger.

Sharper.

He attacked again.

This time—

A small crack appeared.

But not enough.

The dragon laughed.

"You're still weak."

Hell Flames erupted again.

This time—

Everything behind Chris was erased.

Demons.

Bodies.

Souls.

Nothing remained.

Chris's eyes widened.

"This power…"

He attacked again.

Again.

Again.

But—

He was losing.

The dragon transformed into a human form.

A calm… terrifying form.

"Fighting you…"

It sighed.

"…is boring."

A single strike—

Devastation.

Cracks spread across the Five-Element Sword.

And then—

Shatter.

Chris was sent flying again.

He stood up.

Forced his body to move.

Attacked with everything he had.

The dragon stopped it—

With one finger.

"Too weak."

Its voice echoed.

"You cannot kill me."

Chris's eyes burned.

"I will defeat you…"

He summoned again.

"Fire Dragon—appear!"

"Earth Dragon—appear!"

"Water Dragon—appear!"

"Wind Dragon—appear!"

"Sky Dragon—appear!"

Five massive elemental dragons formed.

They roared—

And attacked together.

The explosion shook the entire realm.

For a moment—

Everything went silent.

Smoke cleared.

On the dragon's arm—

A single scratch.

Chris froze.

That much power…

For this?

He clenched his fists.

"To defeat this monster…"

"I need something else…"

And then—

It began.

A strange heat rose inside his chest.

Not pain.

Something deeper.

Stronger.

Thump…

Thump…

Thump…

His heartbeat changed.

The rhythm became unnatural.

Ancient.

Heavy.

The dragon froze.

For the first time—

Fear appeared in its eyes.

"This…?"

Its voice trembled.

"This presence…"

Black energy began leaking from Chris's eyes.

The ground started shaking violently.

The Realm of Blood itself screamed.

"This isn't elemental power…"

The dragon stepped back.

"This isn't below them either…"

Its breath stopped.

"This is—"

An ancient mark began forming on Chris's back.

Glowing.

Alive.

The dragon's eyes widened in horror.

"Impossible…"

"That mark…"

"It belongs only to—"

Chris slowly raised his head.

His eyes had changed.

Completely.

"If I am weak…"

His voice was calm.

Too calm.

"Then tell me…"

Darkness gathered around him—

Not attacking—

Submitting.

"…why are you trembling?"

The dragon instinctively stepped back.

And then—

BOOOOOOM!!!

The sky of the Realm of Blood split open.

Cracks spread across reality itself.

Far away…

On a throne beyond worlds—

A supreme being opened its eyes.

"So…"

A deep voice echoed across existence.

"He has begun to awaken…"

To be continued 🔥🔥👿
