Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2, TIME IS CHANGE

In his second birth, his name was Krrish.

The world saw him as just another boy—ordinary, quiet, unremarkable. But inside him lived something far older than his age. Fragments of a past life lingered in his mind like broken reflections in water. Some memories were faded, some incomplete… but a few were painfully clear.

And among them, one memory never faded.

His mother's voice.

Soft. Warm. Unshakable.

"If someone hurts you, do not do the same to them. Forgive them once… and see what happens."

Those words had shaped him. Even now, they echoed within his heart like a rule he could not break.

That was why—when he stood before gods and demons in his previous life—he did not attack.

He had the power.

More than enough power to fight.

But instead… he turned his back.

And walked away.

Not out of weakness.

But because he chose not to become like them.

Yet the world did not reward his choice.

Pain followed him.

Loss followed him.

And slowly… something dark began to grow inside him.

Hatred.

Not just toward the demons.

Not just toward the gods.

But toward one being in particular—

Mahadev.

Because no matter how many times life changed… no matter how many chances the universe gave… one thing remained the same.

His parents always died.

Mahadev had the power to stop it.

And yet… he never did.

That truth burned inside Krrish like a flame that refused to die.

And one day—

It exploded.

In his anger, Krrish began destroying everything connected to the gods.

Temples fell.

Sacred symbols burned.

Faith itself trembled wherever he walked.

He erased every sign of their existence that he could reach.

But there was one thing…

He could never destroy.

A Rudraksha.

A small, sacred bead.

It was the last thing his mother had given him.

He wore it not as a believer…

But as a son.

For him, it was not faith.

It was love.

Even in his hatred, that love remained untouched.

The gods did not stay silent.

They could not face Krrish directly—not yet.

So they chose another path.

A more subtle one.

They began granting small fragments of their power to humans.

At first, nothing seemed to change.

But slowly… the effects became clear.

Humans began to live longer.

Three hundred years…

Four hundred years…

Their strength increased. Their abilities grew.

But something else changed too.

Their hearts.

They became colder.

More distant.

More… dangerous.

Power without balance had begun to reshape humanity itself.

Years passed.

And with time, Krrish became a hunted existence.

Powerful humans—blessed by gods and demons alike—began chasing him.

One battle after another…

One betrayal after another…

Until one day—

He was wounded.

Badly.

His body was broken, his strength fading.

While escaping, he reached a small village hidden far from the chaos of the world.

The villagers found him.

And instead of fear…

They showed kindness.

They treated his wounds.

Gave him shelter.

Protected him without asking who he was.

For the first time in a long time…

Krrish felt peace.

A fragile… temporary peace.

But fate…

Never let him keep it.

One day, when Krrish had gone a little away from the village—

Bandits attacked.

When he returned…

Everything was burning.

Flames consumed the homes.

Smoke filled the sky.

Bodies lay scattered across the ground.

The people who had saved him…

Were gone.

Only two survived.

Two small girls.

Yogi… and Naya.

Their eyes were filled with fear.

Their world had been destroyed in a single moment.

Something inside Krrish snapped.

This time…

He did not forgive.

He hunted the bandits.

One by one…

He ended them.

There was no hesitation.

No mercy.

No second chances.

And afterward…

Silence remained.

It was then that Krrish understood something important.

Something painful.

Forgiving everyone… was not always right.

Because he remembered—

Those same bandits…

He had spared them once before.

And in return?

They had poisoned him.

Attacked him from behind.

Betrayed his mercy.

This time… he chose differently.

Taking responsibility, he left the ruins of the village with Yogi and Naya.

He traveled far.

To a distant district.

A place where no one knew him.

There, he built a quiet life.

He protected them.

Raised them.

Treated them like family.

For a moment…

It felt like things might finally be different.

But fate…

Was still watching.

One day—

Two warriors arrived.

Sent for one purpose.

To kill him.

The first was Arjun.

A man chosen by Devraj Indra himself. Lightning flowed through his veins. His presence alone shook the air.

The second was Lucifer Taj.

A warrior blessed by a Demon King. Darkness followed him like a shadow. His power felt cold… endless… merciless.

Together—

They attacked.

Krrish stepped forward to fight.

But something was wrong.

His body felt weak.

Heavy.

Unresponsive.

His movements slowed.

His strength faded.

And then—

He realized.

Poison.

It was inside him.

Spreading.

Destroying him from within.

And then…

The truth was revealed.

Yogi and Naya…

The two girls he had saved…

They had poisoned him.

The ones he protected.

The ones he trusted.

They had betrayed him.

For a moment—

Time itself seemed to stop.

Not because of power…

But because of the weight of that truth.

With poison in his veins…

And two powerful warriors standing before him…

Krrish fell.

His body hit the ground.

His vision blurred.

And as death approached—

Something impossible happened.

Time… actually stopped.

The world froze.

The sky cracked open.

And from beyond it—

A giant hand descended.

When Krrish opened his eyes again—

He was no longer on the battlefield.

He stood before Mahadev.

The Rudraksha around his neck glowed brightly.

Krrish looked at him.

Not with fear.

Not with respect.

But with a question that had lived inside him for too long.

"Why did you save me?"

Mahadev's expression changed.

For the first time—

There was anger in his voice.

"Your parents were killed… and you did nothing.

Again and again they tried to kill you… and every time you forgave them.

They never learned."

The air trembled with his words.

Then Mahadev spoke again—

"I am giving you one last chance.

Remove your regret.

And use your power… fully."

He raised his hand…

And touched Krrish's forehead.

In that instant—

Light consumed everything.

When Krrish opened his eyes again—

The world had changed.

He was standing in a room.

His hand held a mobile phone.

His breath grew heavy.

Slowly…

He looked at the screen.

The date read:

01/01/2030

His heart stopped.

His mind went blank.

This was not the future.

This was the past.

One month…

Before his parents were going to die.

Silence filled the room.

But inside Krrish—

Something awakened.

This time…

He was not weak.

This time…

He was not blind.

This time…

He would not forgive blindly.

And this time—

Fate itself…

Would change.
