'Walter Wallace?'
Cecilia Nathan froze.
She knew of Walter Wallace. Her father, Linden Nathan, had told her he was Sharon Quincy's friend and the one who orchestrated the car crash.
"What did Walter Wallace say when he turned himself in? Did they find Finn Hawthorne?" Cecilia's heart leaped into her throat.
She remembered Justin Bell saying that Finn had followed Walter Wallace.
Justin Bell asked a few questions, then hung up the phone.
He looked at Cecilia and said in a low voice, "Miss Cecilia Nathan, they said they haven't found Finn Hawthorne. Also, Walter Wallace claims he did all of this on his own to extort money from Sharon Quincy. According to the information from the police, it seems Sharon is now considered a victim, too."
'Sharon Quincy is a victim?'
The corner of Cecilia's mouth twitched.
For what Sharon Quincy had done, a few years in prison wouldn't be nearly enough.
"The police didn't actually believe that, did they?"
