Serena Hughes glanced again at the sunglasses in Cecilia Nathan's hand, her face turning pale.
"Why can't it be me?" Cecilia found her reaction somewhat amusing. "You're so enthusiastic, you're scaring me."
Serena Hughes was usually insincere with her, but she had never been this nice before.
Hearing the word "enthusiastic," a fire of rage ignited in Serena Hughes's heart.
"Cecilia Nathan..." Serena Hughes gritted her teeth. "It's the middle of winter. What are you doing wearing sunglasses here!"
"Because I like to. You got a problem with that?" Cecilia put the sunglasses back on, her red lips curling up slightly. "Miss Hughes, respecting other people's fashion choices is a sign of good character."
Seeing her put them back on, Serena Hughes lost control and yanked Cecilia's sunglasses off. "Stop wearing them. It's disgusting."
In the past, she would have been able to control her emotions, at least to some degree.
