"Miss Hughes just said the person you've always liked is Luna. Is that true?" Sharon Quincy had no intention of covering for Serena Hughes.
Serena Hughes froze when she heard this.
'It's over!'
Sure enough, at the mention of the name "Luna," Damian Hawthorne's gaze turned frigid. A sharp, cold light flashed in his eyes. "Who told you that?"
"Miss Hughes did." Sharon Quincy jutted her chin in Serena Hughes's direction. "She said you've always liked someone named Luna, and that you're still not married because you're waiting for her. Is any of that true?"
Although Sharon Quincy phrased it as a question, she already had a good idea of the answer.
'Judging by Damian Hawthorne's reaction, this Luna is clearly someone special.'
