Chapter 7 - Photo

The next day he went to get his picture taken as his final step to being a ninja He were green cargo pants, a black hoodie with pockets inside and a steel mess undershirt On top of that was a plain white T-shirt with sandals.

*The photographer looked at Naruto's simple outfit and tried to hide his surprise. Most genin came in flashy new uniforms or expensive casual wear, but here was Naruto in basic clothes that looked comfortable and practical. The photographer directed him to stand in front of the backdrop.*

*Naruto stood there patiently, his hands in his pockets as the photographer adjusted the settings. The man took a deep breath and snapped the picture, the flash momentarily blinding Naruto. When his vision cleared, the photographer was staring at the camera screen with a strange expression.* "Hang on a moment..."*The photographer's face paled as he looked at the photo, seeing dark, shadowy figures surrounding Naruto like a sinister aura. The contrast was stark—Naruto's bright, cheerful face in the center of the ominous darkness. The man swallowed hard, his hands shaking slightly as he printed out the photo.* "Uh..."

"Just take it again if it's that bad."*The photographer reluctantly took another photo, trying different angles and lighting. Each time, the result was eerily similar—Naruto's cheerful expression surrounded by dark, shadowy figures that seemed to cling to him. The man finally handed Naruto the stack of photos with trembling hands.* "I..."

He looked at them and realized why he was shaking. His shadow soldiers were partly visible whenever the photo was taken. " Just send it to the hokage. It'll be fine." An hour later he was called in to his office where he held up the picture.

*The Hokage stared at the photo, his expression grave. He looked up at Naruto, his eyes searching and intense. "Naruto... come here a moment." He set the photo down on his desk, gesturing for Naruto to approach. His voice was unusually serious.* "Sit down."

*The Hokage turned the photo around so both of them could see it clearly. The dark figures were even more prominent in the office lighting. "I've seen a lot of genin photos, but never anything like this." He tapped one of the shadowy shapes.*

"Yes."

"Do you know what these are?" The Hokage asked, his voice low and serious. He knew the answer, but he wanted to hear it from Naruto. His eyes flicked between the photo and Naruto's face, searching for any sign of deception or hidden knowledge.

using his absolute best poker face. " I have absolutely no idea what those are." He said seriously.

*The Hokage studied Naruto's expression intently, trying to discern any hint of truth or falsehood. He was an skilled observer, but even he had to admit that Naruto's poker face was impressive. After a long moment, he sighed and leaned back in his chair.* "Very well."

*The Hokage's stern expression instantly softened as Konohamaru bounced into the room, declaring his intention to become the Fifth Hokage. Naruto watched in amusement as the old man's face lit up with pride and affection for his grandson.* "Konohamaru!"

"Listen kid if anyone's going to be the fifth Hokage, it's going to be me."

*Konohamaru's eyes widened at Naruto's bold declaration, and he puffed out his chest indignantly.* "No way! I'm gonna be the Fifth Hokage!" *He stamped his foot, his face scrunched up with determination.*

"You can't even run without tripping on your scarf."*Konohamaru's face turned red with anger and embarrassment at Naruto's teasing remark. He snatched at his scarf, wrapping it tighter around his neck.* "Shut up! You're just jealous because I'll be Hokage and you won't!"

"what did you say to me?" Naruto said getting in his face

*Konohamaru realized he'd gone too far and took a step back, but his stubbornness wouldn't let him apologize. He stuck his tongue out at Naruto.* "I said you'll never be Hokage! You're just a stupid orphan! and I knew you wouldn't hurt me. I'm the third's grandkid."

"I don't care you're his grandmother." He said, Hitting him on the head and storming me out.

*Konohamaru rubbed his head, looking shocked and hurt at Naruto's unexpected outburst. The Hokage watched the exchange with a mixture of amusement and concern. As Naruto stormed out, the old man sighed and turned his attention back to his stubborn grandson.* "Konohamaru..."

*Konohamaru sniffled, feeling a little scared and confused by Naruto's sudden anger. He looked up at his grandfather with tear-filled eyes.* "Why is Naruto so mean to me...? I'm gonna be Hokage, not him... Right, Grandpa?"

*The Hokage frowned at Konohamaru's question, his expression turning serious. He cupped the boy's face in his hand, forcing him to meet his piercing gaze.* "Listen to me very carefully, Konohamaru."

"Hokage is not something you inherit or take by force. It's a title earned through hard work, dedication, and the respect of your village. Naruto may be an orphan, but he has a fire in him that you've never seen before." *He paused, his thumb gently wiping away Konohamaru's tear.*"And another thing... Don't use your relationship with me as a shield. Naruto has plenty of reasons to be angry with you right now without you throwing that in his face." *The Hokage sighed, standing up and patting Konohamaru's head.*

Meanwhile Naruto walked through the village, his expression was stormy and his fists were clenched tightly at his sides. He could feel the anger boiling inside him, and he knew that if he didn't find an outlet for it soon, he was going to explode.**Naruto entered the dark and eerie Forest of Death, his footsteps echoing ominously. The trees seemed to lean in closer, their branches like skeletal fingers reaching out to him. He found a clearing and let out a deep breath, trying to calm his anger. Suddenly, a rustling sound caught Naruto's attention. He spun around, his eyes narrowed and his senses on high alert. A massive, snarling beast emerged from the shadows, its fur as black as night and its eyes glowing with a malevolent red light.

"Fire style: fire dragon Jitsu."*Without hesitation, Naruto's hands took on a red glow as he focused his chakra. The beast lunged at him, but Naruto was ready. With a fierce shout, he unleashed a powerful Fire Dragon Jutsu, the blazing dragon soaring through the air and slamming into the creature with a deafening roar.*

*The massive fire dragon engulfed the beast, its scales sizzling and smoking. The creature screeched in pain and dissipated into nothingness, leaving behind only a faint shadowy residue that quickly faded. Naruto stood in the clearing, breathing heavily from the exertion. The Fire Dragon Jutsu was one of his more powerful techniques, and he'd used it without even thinking.*

*Naruto's massive chakra reserve allowed him to cast powerful techniques with ease, even at his young age. However, his Uzumaki heritage and the Nine-Tails sealed inside him also meant that he was still growing and learning to control his immense power.*

Wanting to get better at this, he made 10 shadow clones. " OK, two of you will work on chakra control, two of you will master walking on water and Sticking the trees. The last four will practice all of our Jesuits until we can do them with as a few hand signs as possible. and do not dispel all at the same time do it one at a time with five minute intervals between." He's doing it this way because he knows that a shadow cologne learns will automatically be transferred into his body, but that also includes fatigue.

*The ten shadow clones appeared, each one an exact replica of Naruto. They nodded in unison, understanding their respective tasks. Two clones began meditating, focusing on controlling their chakra flow. Another two stepped onto the surface of a nearby pond and began practicing walking on water.*

*The remaining four clones started practicing various jutsu techniques, their movements fluid and precise. As they mastered each technique, they reduced the number of hand signs required, pushing their limits and testing their abilities.*

"Well, they're doing that the original headed home."*As the original Naruto made his way back to the village, his shadow clones continued their intense training in the forest. Every five minutes, one clone would dissipate, its learned skills and fatigue being transferred back to Naruto's body. This process would repeat until all ten clones had completed their training sessions.*

*Naruto's dedication and the clones' training had paid off. He could now cast most of his jutsu with just two or three hand signs, a significant improvement from the original complex sequences. His chakra control had also sharpened, allowing him to perform techniques more efficiently and with greater precision.*After a satisfying meal, Naruto collapsed onto his bed, completely exhausted from his rigorous training session. His body ached with fatigue, but his mind was satisfied with the progress he had made. As he drifted off to sleep, his subconscious mind continued to process the new techniques and improved chakra control.*
