Chapter 183 - 183-Mushin's Return and New Training

The roar of rushing air gradually grew louder.

High in the sky, that Dragonite flapped its small wings, showing a puzzled expression as it watched the battle unfolding below.

"Dragonite, use Hurricane to stop them!"

A voice carrying a warning tone rang out. Mushin on Dragonite's back looked at the chaotic beach below, his calm words devoid of emotion.

Dragonite's originally dopey expression instantly turned serious. Those angelic little wings flapped rapidly, gathering Flying-type energy. A powerful hurricane manifested from nothing.

It struck toward the battlefield on the beach, targeting the exact point where the two tornados were colliding.

Yellow sand filled the air, flying sand and rolling stones!

Within the roar of the great wind, both tornados gradually dispersed. Just one strike!

"What a powerful Hurricane!"

Sieg was still in shock from seeing a pseudo-legendary, but now found himself amazed by that sudden Hurricane.

"This Dragonite's strength is probably close to quasi-Elite Four level." Sieg speculated internally while hurriedly climbing onto Honchkrow's back and flying toward the beach below.

Dragonite was a Pokémon that only evolved from Dragonair at level 55. In other words, this Dragonite before him was at least level 55 or above.

As for why Sieg thought, this Dragonite wasn't at the 60+ quasi-Elite Four level, was due Honchkrow's reaction.

If it was quasi-Elite Four, his Honchkrow would definitely feel tremendous pressure facing this Dragonite.

But right now, Honchkrow merely looked at Dragonite with some reverence, without showing fear or being suppressed.

"What's going on with you all? We agreed on sparring and training, how did it turn into a real fight?" Mushin jumped down from Dragonite's back, demanding answers from the three.

That earlier attack clearly wasn't simple sparring. Obviously, they were fighthing to kill.

The three remained silent, because they knew explanations were useless in this situation. Team Rocket's internal culture didn't sympathize with victims, they saw it as a display of weakness.

That was precisely why the twin brothers hadn't complained.

Rose clearly felt guilty, turning her head away, not daring to meet Mushin's stern warning gaze.

However, without exception, everyone's eyes glanced toward the massive Dragonite behind him. Especially the invisible pressure emanating from it, which left the only other Flying-types present breathless.

Both Gyarados and Pidgeot displayed submissive postures, lowering their heads in deference.

The pseudo-legendary's domineering nature was fully displayed!

Sieg arrived fashionably late, putting on an act of complete ignorance. Though in truth, this really had nothing to do with him.

He had simply remained neutral.

Rose shot Sieg a murderous glare, clearly dissatisfied with his earlier neutrality.

After all, neutrality was a delicate matter.

Previously, Sieg had agreed with Rose to form an alliance against the pressure from the twin brothers. Now Sieg was claiming neutrality, this was undoubtedly a betrayal of their private agreement.

Rose looked at Sieg with obvious displeasure.

"Hmph! I'm gone just a few days and you're already fighting amongst yourselves? How did you manage to get Executive Archer to trust you with this mission?"

"If headquarters didn't lack interest in expanding into the Hoenn region, leading to insufficient manpower, you think such an important mission would fall to you mere mid-captains?"

Mushin paced back and forth on the beach, producing soft shuffling sounds.

The air became oppressive, not only from the tremendous pressure Mushin brought, but also because a living Dragonite stood behind him.

"I see you all have too much free time! Conveniently, there's something here that can help you work off some energy."

Mushin detached a Luxury Ball from his waist and pressed the button. Red light flashed, releasing a Pokémon.

This Pokémon had thick arms, with two tube-like structures resembling detonators on its back, bearing patterns that looked like electrical outlets.

Thunderbolt Pokémon, Electivire.

Electivire evolved through a special item. Its electricity generation was proportional to its heart rate, when its heartbeat accelerated, power output increased. Among Electric-type Pokémon, its generation capacity ranked at the highest level.

When fully charged, blue-white sparks would violently burst between its two horns. Just one Elite Four-level Electivire could provide all the electricity needed for a massive city's buildings for an entire year.

"I'll be straight with you, in one month, your mission will involve facing a powerful Electric-type Pokémon. So your Pokémon must train their resistance to Electric-type attacks."

Before Mushin's words even finished, the newly released Electivire instantly beat its chest and stamped its feet. Electric sparks flew everywhere as thunderous roars echoed around them.

Electivire's tails instantly grabbed every person's Pokémon, including Honchkrow.

Each Pokémon instinctively struggled to break free, but the overwhelming strength kept them flailing helplessly, unable to escape.

So strong!

This was the shared sentiment of every Pokémon caught by Electivire's tails.

"Release your main Pokémon. Let Electivire's electric chains bind them for training to resist paralysis. Duration: one week."

Mushin's cold words cast a metaphorical shadow over everyone's hearts. The previous seven days had been tidal body tempering, now the next seven would be resisting electric paralysis.

"Archer would rather promote new subordinates and spare no expense raising our strength than utilize the existing captains in the Hoenn Team Rocket branch. Seems internal factional power struggles within the organization are inevitable."

Sieg speculated privately. After all, within the base, there were several captain-level figures rumored to possess quasi-Elite Four strength.

But regardless, this was beneficial for them. Whether it was that high-tech combat suit or the strength-enhancing green serum they'd been enjoying these past days.

All of it represented genuine, tangible benefit, things their former selves could never have accessed.

Rather than worrying needlessly about unknown futures, better to seize present opportunities and rapidly improve their strength.

Only personal power could handle all unknown dangers.

Everyone present was elite among elites, naturally understanding these principles. Therefore, none voiced complaints.

However, the one concern everyone shared was that their Pokémon teams all carried Flying or Water-types to varying degrees.

Facing violent and dangerous lightning would inevitably pose risks. Moreover, this Electivire was clearly another peak elite-level Pokémon.

Judging by the aura it emanated, it was only slightly weaker than that Dragonite.
