The furball clawed onto his shoulder the moment he picked it up, continuing to cry miserably.
Reis stroked its silvery white fur gently. "Did you miss me?"
"Mewr."
Sugar licked his chin in response.
He kissed the furry cheek before hugging in against his neck. This furball was definitely the best source of comfort.
Especially after suffering such a blow to his pride.
He turned to the three who were responsible for Sugar for the past two days. While they looked somewhat relieved, there was also that look of being wronged. Slight frown, offended glare and mouth hanging open from astonishment.
