Reis didn't know what to feel. Angry because his dignity was being auctioned off for nothing. Stunned at the stupidity of a divine being. Or distraught by the obvious act of carelessness by the demon.
And he definitely didn't have thick enough skin to get into the argument of why the matter has to be specified. Why he didn't like to be seen as the one 'who gave an offspring.'
"Isn't that better?"
Scratch that. It wasn't carelessness. The demon did it on purpose. It showed by the proud smirk on that face.
"B-BETTER?"
"Mhm. He needed something to record, and he found the perfect thing. The paper chaser definitely won't bother us anymore."
The information he got far exceeded whatever he could have achieved by giving out trials. And with the perfectly curated act, he would definitely spread it well enough so no one else would bother them either.
Reis, meanwhile, wasn't sure what bothered him the most. The contents of what the lord said or the way he said it.
