Chapter 79 - Chapter 79: Evil Wizard Experiment, Different Majors

Forbidden Forest hollow.

An Acromantula, the size of an elephant and grayish-white, lay at the mouth of a cave.

Aragog was enjoying the prey his descendants offered him.

His previously blind, grayish-white eyes now had a hint of luster, and the world in his vision was no longer as dark as before; he could vaguely see some blurry shadows.

Aragog thought this must be because of the magical liquid the human boy gave him last time. After consuming it, he not only recovered his strength, but even felt a new surge of vitality in his withered, old body.

"I wonder what that terrifying human kid's name is. He didn't say last time."

Aragog tore and chewed on the prey's flesh, muttering to himself.

"My name is Lucien, Lucien Grafton."

Snap—

The piece of prey fell to the ground with a snap.

Aragog's mouthparts rubbed together involuntarily. The aura of those two monsters suddenly appeared in his perception.

Although the message from the ancestor was meaningless noise, without any command.

But all the Acromantula, big and small, ran away the moment Lucien and the glowing light appeared.

Fortunately, they were all spiders, and their eight legs spun quickly as they ran.

Lucien looked at the scattering Acromantula and chuckled softly:

"Heh heh, how have you been lately, Aragog?"

Although it sounded like a friendly greeting, Aragog tried hard to decipher Lucien's meaning,

"I-I'm fine?"

Listening to Aragog's questioning tone, Lucien found it amusing. It seemed he had been thoroughly frightened last time.

"That's good. I want to discuss something with you."

"You say, you say."

Aragog immediately complained bitterly in his heart. Was he here for venom again? He would have to make a big sacrifice once more.

However, when he thought about the possibility of compensation with that liquid from last time, and the feeling of renewed vitality, Aragog actually felt a little anticipation.

The older he got, the more he missed that feeling of being full of energy.

"Ask your descendants if any of them are willing to come with me."

Hearing this, Aragog was first stunned. He wasn't asking for venom.

But then he became terrified. Had this demon finally shown his fangs? Was he going to start targeting the Acromantula themselves?

This time it was only his descendants; next time, wouldn't it be Aragog himself?

Aragog still remembered when he was young, Hagrid told him that some Wizards would experiment on magical creatures, and those were very terrifying and evil things, so he must hide well and not be discovered by human Wizards.

He hadn't expected that after hiding his whole life, it still wouldn't work in the end?

Seeing Aragog remain silent, Lucien thought he was reluctant to part with his descendants, so he began to advise him:

"You don't need many. I will provide suitable living conditions and occasionally extract some venom from them."

"Uh, no experiments?"

"What?"

Lucien was a little confused by Aragog's question,

"What experiment?"

"Hagrid told me..."

Listening to Aragog's recollection, Lucien's expression became strange.

Hagrid's words weren't entirely wrong; some Wizards did experiment on magical creatures.
