Chapter 119 - Chapter 119: The Sealed Demon

"Come on, follow me to that Village and take a look!"

With a wave of his hand, the Zero Emperor led all his subordinates aggressively toward the Village at the foot of the mountain.

He absolutely didn't believe there was any magic that could destroy the moon; he only thought the moon had been hidden away.

Perhaps the Village had hired some powerful Mage who used a special magic to shroud the moon, disrupting their magic ritual and sabotaging their unsealing of Deliora.

"Strange, why do I feel like the moon has truly disappeared?"

After the Zero Emperor and the others left, a short, masked man stared at the sky for a long time, a peculiar expression crossing his face.

With his magical expertise, if the moon were shrouded by some magic, it would be impossible for him not to notice.

In this situation, it seemed as if the moon had truly vanished from this World.

It was a pity that he had also been guarding the demon Deliora beneath the temple just now and hadn't seen with his own eyes how the moon disappeared.

But upon further thought, he found it inconceivable, because even in Grimoire Heart, that great Guild Master, My Lord Hades...

...couldn't possibly achieve such a feat.

If there were any Mage truly capable of this, it would only be the legendary Black Mage, Zeref.

Could Zeref have appeared on Galuna Island?

The demon Deliora was created by Zeref, so it seemed there was a slight possibility that Zeref might appear here.

But even if it really was Zeref, why would he destroy the moon to prevent Deliora from being unsealed?

"I'll go see what's really going on."

With various conjectures in his mind, none of which were entirely solid, he secretly hid his presence and followed the Zero Emperor and his group, sneaking toward the Village.

He wanted to see exactly which sacred being had destroyed the moon.

"Eh?"

Meanwhile, Goku, who was devouring the demon-specialty roast meat in the Village, suddenly raised his head and looked toward the Village gate.

"A lot of people are coming this way."

He sensed over a hundred different signatures of Ki rapidly approaching the Village.

"Village Chief, are there other people living on Galuna Island besides you?"

Hearing this, Gray's heart stirred, and he asked the Village Chief, Village Chief.

Village Chief shook his head. "Everyone knows Galuna Island is a demon island; even pirates don't dare to come. Only our Demon Clan lives here; there are no others."

"Watch out, trouble is coming!"

Gray immediately stood up upon hearing this.

Natsu asked, somewhat puzzled, "How do you know they're looking for trouble?"

"The barrier formed by the purple mist over the island hasn't always been there; it appeared suddenly three years ago."

"This suggests it's likely man-made, not natural."

"Now that Goku has broken the barrier and eliminated the moon, a large group of people who don't belong to this island has suddenly appeared. Don't you understand?"

Before Gray could answer, Lucy had already provided an explanation and pulled out her celestial spirit key.

"In other words, the people coming now are the ones who created the purple mist barrier."

The clever cat, Happy, immediately grasped Lucy's meaning.

Goku swallowed a large piece of roast meat from some unknown creature, hopped off the table, and a Happy expression appeared on his face. "I'm full, just in time for some exercise."

He had thought there wouldn't be a chance to fight this time, but he hadn't expected another opportunity to arise right after eating. How could he not be Happy?

Boom!

The Village's large wooden gate, one meter thick and five meters high, was instantly smashed into fragments by a flock of ice birds.

"Who used magic to shroud the moon? Release the magic at once, or I won't mind turning them into an ice sculpture!"

The Zero Emperor, wearing a horned helmet, strode into the Village.

However, when he saw Gray standing there, he froze in place for a moment.

Similarly, when Gray saw the Zero Emperor and heard his voice, his eyes widened. "Lyon!"

"So it's you, Gray. Long time no see. Are you the one stopping me from unsealing Deliora?"

After recognizing Gray, the Zero Emperor, Lyon, took off his mask, and his expression wasn't all that surprised.

Because he knew that with Gray's personality, if he knew Lyon was going to unseal Deliora, he would definitely come to stop him.

"What? You're going to unseal Deliora!"

However, Gray's expression made him look surprised.

"You don't even know what I'm doing, so why did you shroud the moon and stop me from collecting Moon Drip?"

"You idiot, what on earth are you doing? Don't you know that Deliora was sealed by Ur at the cost of her life!"

Gray shouted angrily at Lyon.

Lyon, however, looked at Gray with a cold gaze. "Please don't distort the facts. The one who killed Ur was you, Gray. You killed Ur."

"I'm going to unseal Deliora now and kill it with my own hands to prove that I've long surpassed Ur's strength!"

"Deliora, the demon that once ravaged the north?"

Beside them, Lucy's eyes widened upon hearing this.

Since she was a child, she had loved reading various magic magazines to learn about major events and gossip involving the various Mage guilds.

So she knew that there was once a terrifying demon named Deliora that ravaged northern cities.

Countless innocent people died at the hands of Deliora.

The various Mage guilds in the northern cities joined forces to attack Deliora, but they were all killed by the demon.

Then one day, Deliora suddenly vanished without a trace.

"My parents both died at the hands of Deliora. I became Ur's Master, wanting to learn powerful magic from her to avenge my parents."

"Later, I heard that Deliora had appeared in Brago, so I ignored my Master's warnings and went to seek revenge."

"Deliora was too powerful; I was no match for it at all."

"Finally, my Master arrived and used a forbidden magic to turn herself into ice that can never melt, only then sealing Deliora."

Gray murmured his buried memories in a low voice, then looked at Lyon. "The moon has been destroyed. You will never be able to unseal Deliora. Leave this place!"

After Ur sealed Deliora back then, he searched everywhere for a way to restore her.

Until he came to Fairy Tail and met Guild Master Makarov.

Makarov told him that there was only one magic in the World that could dispel the 'Absolute Zero' magic.

But if that magic were used, it would also kill Ur, who had turned into the ice sealing Deliora.

Only now did he realize that the magic the Guild Master spoke of was likely the one Lyon was using now.

It's just that Lyon might not know yet that using this magic would kill Ur, who had become the ice.

"Is that demon called Deliora really that powerful? It would be great if I could have a fight with it."

Learning from Gray and Lucy that such a powerful demon existed in the World, Goku felt an itch for battle.

Natsu had told him there was a powerful demon on this island; he hadn't lied after all.

"The moon has been destroyed? Hmph, what a joke."

Lyon didn't believe Gray's words at all. With a wave of his hand, he commanded his subordinates behind him, "Seize them!"

Once he captured Gray and the others, he would naturally find out how to dispel the magic shrouding the moon, and he could continue using the Gekko to condense Moon Drip and break the Seal.
