…training his body, learning the principles of magic, practicing spells, using Black Wizards as sparring partners, and earning Galleons along the way.
Little Goku spent another five fulfilling months at Hogwarts.
As June arrived, he felt it was time to leave and embark on a new stage of his training.
Major advancements in magic were becoming difficult, requiring time to slowly refine, especially with advanced spells that couldn't be mastered overnight.
And in terms of training, aside from physical exercise, there were no longer any suitable opponents for him to fight all out.
He needed opponents who could truly challenge him to make greater progress.
Exactly one year had passed, and he also needed to return and collect the Dragon Balls to revive the soldiers he had killed while transformed into a Great Ape.
Then, a year later, he would re-collect the Dragon Balls and come back to help Grandpa Dumbledore revive his sister.
Grandpa Dumbledore didn't object, only cautioning him about many things to pay attention to.
His only regret was not yet learning Animagus transformation.
Because his situation was special; he wasn't aiming for a normal Animagus, but rather to transform into his Great Ape form.
So, to be safe, Grandpa Dumbledore had been conducting simulated experiments with his hair, modifying the original Animagus transformation ritual.
It was still uncertain when it would be successful.
After a year of diligent practice, many Little Wizards could already sense the presence of Ki within their bodies and slowly draw it outside.
While it might still take a few years to unleash Dodon Ray and Kamehameha, they had at least gotten their foot in the door.
So he no longer needed to worry.
As for next year's ki magic course, Grandpa Dumbledore planned to have Hagrid teach it; Hagrid could barely use a weakened version of Dodon Ray, making him perfectly capable.
Upon waking, Little Goku found himself in the White Space.
Instead of continuing to push open the door to the Harry Potter World as usual, he turned and pushed open the door to his own World.
He reappeared, once again, in the cave on the mountain where he had first trained.
"First, I'll hunt a Sabretooth to fill my stomach, then go find Bulma to borrow the Dragon Radar."
Little Goku's figure flickered, and soon he returned to the cave entrance dragging a Sabretooth, which he began to roast.
His box contained some long-lasting food prepared for him by Grandpa Dumbledore.
But Grandpa Dumbledore had instructed him not to touch the food in the box if he could obtain food elsewhere.
It was for emergencies.
And on this mountain, he didn't have to worry about not finding food.
"Fera Verto!"
After the Sabretooth was roasted, Little Goku didn't eat it immediately, but instead cast a Deformation Curse on the roasted Sabretooth.
The somewhat charred Sabretooth immediately transformed into an enormous, golden-brown roasted chicken.
The Sabretooth he roasted himself had no seasoning, so the taste was naturally not great.
If there were no other options, he could still eat it with relish, as he wasn't particularly picky.
But now that he had learned the Deformation Curse, he could transform the unseasoned roasted Sabretooth into a house-elf-style roasted chicken that he preferred, which was naturally better.
The Deformation Curse couldn't conjure food out of thin air, but it could transform one type of food into another.
So, even though the roasted chicken would turn back into roasted Sabretooth once it was in his stomach, at least he tasted roasted chicken while eating.
He both filled his stomach and enjoyed a delicious meal.
This was the wonder of magic.
"Nimbus Cloud!!"
After filling his stomach, Little Goku shouted into the air.
Soon, a yellow auspicious cloud flew rapidly before him.
This was the Nimbus Cloud given to him by Grandpa Master Roshi.
Under Dumbledore's careful guidance, Little Goku was no longer the same Little Goku; at least in terms of common sense, he had made some progress.
He now understood that Master Roshi's instruction not to use the Nimbus Cloud meant not to use it to be lazy, not that he could never use it.
As long as he was diligent in his training, he could still summon the Nimbus Cloud for travel in special circumstances.
For example, he now needed the Nimbus Cloud to go to West City to find Bulma, quickly collect the Dragon Balls to make a wish, and then he could continue to focus on his training.
"Nimbus Cloud, let's go to West City to find Bulma!"
Little Goku jumped onto the Nimbus Cloud, riding it westward at 2.5 times the speed of sound.
West City, inside a Villa comparable in size to several parks.
Dr. Briefs, while feeding the wild dinosaurs he had adopted, replied to Little Goku:
"You're looking for Bulma? She's on vacation and not home. I don't know where she ran off to; that child just loves to wander."
"Ah, Bulma isn't here, then what should I do?
I need the Dragon Radar to collect the Dragon Balls. Without Bulma to make me a Dragon Radar, I can't find them."
Little Goku couldn't help but scratch his head at the news, but he quickly came up with a solution.
"That's right, I can go find Fortuneteller Baba!"
Fortuneteller Baba could divine the location of the Dragon Balls for him, or the location of Bulma.
However, just as he was about to summon the Nimbus Cloud to leave, Dr. Briefs slowly stood up and said unhurriedly:
"Oh, so you need a Dragon Radar, I can make one for you."
A Dragon Radar wasn't a particularly high-tech item for him.
"Really?!"
Little Goku's eyes immediately lit up.
Dr. Briefs stroked the kitten perched on his shoulder and nodded:
"Wait here for a moment."
With that, he turned and walked into the adjacent laboratory.
About ten minutes later, Dr. Briefs emerged from the laboratory holding a brand new Dragon Radar.
"That's great, thank you! Say hello to Bulma for me!"
Little Goku took the Dragon Radar, operated it a few times, and found it was exactly like the one Bulma made, clearly showing the location of the Dragon Balls. He immediately summoned the Nimbus Cloud and jumped on it.
"Whoosh!"
After Little Goku left, Bulma's mother came over with a plate of pastries and drinks.
"Oh, where's Little Goku?"
"He left."
Dr. Briefs pointed to the sky.
Bulma's mother said with regret:
"I wanted Little Goku to try the pastries I just made."
Three hours later, Little Goku arrived above a dense forest.
"It should be somewhere nearby."
Jumping off the Nimbus Cloud, he pressed the Dragon Radar a few times and knew that a Dragon Ball should be in the surrounding bushes.
If it were before, to find this Dragon Ball, he would have to search the entire area carefully, which would take at least half a day.
But now that he had learned magic, it wasn't so troublesome.
"Accio Dragon Ball!"
As he chanted the spell, a Dragon Ball flew out from the distant bushes and landed in his hand.
The Summoning Charm wasn't a particularly profound or difficult spell, but it was very useful.
Through this spell, one could directly summon the item they were looking for into their hand.
Of course, the distance couldn't be too far, the item couldn't be too heavy, and most living creatures were not within the summoning range, with the exception of small-bodied creatures like insects...
