"Ivan, Anton Vanko's son, do you still want revenge on Tony Stark?" Hank's voice echoed in Ivan's ear.
Ivan was no ordinary prisoner, his crimes were negligible compared to the benefits he possessed.
Arc Reactor and its miniaturization technology!
As long as Ivan was willing to hand over these two technologies, or accept the offers from various forces and work for them, he would immediately go from being a prisoner to a respected guest.
There was only one person in the cell, and no loudspeaker, so where did the voice come from?
Hearing Hank's voice, Ivan was slightly surprised. He remained impassive, merely nodding casually.
Hank's question was the reason he was still here.
Various factions coveted him and his technology, yet no one was willing to support his revenge against Tony.
"We have a common goal—Tony Stark." Hank's voice continued.
"Unfortunately, neither of us is his match."
Ivan raised an eyebrow, his lips slightly parted as if to speak. Then he closed them again, his fists involuntarily clenching.
My technology is no worse than his, he simply doesn't fight fairly. He used sneak attacks, he used magic, to defeat me.
"But we can join forces."
Ivan leaned against the wall and sat down, asking softly, "What do you have?"
"Pym Particles." Hank's voice was full of pride.
"What are those, and what are they for?" Ivan pressed.
"They can enlarge unmanned combat suits and weapons." Hank explained.
"Heh, then why don't I just build a big one directly?" Ivan scoffed.
"Build a big one directly? How big?" Hank asked and answered himself, "Five meters, twenty meters, or a hundred meters?"
Then he continued, "But what about the materials? What materials do you plan to use?"
Ivan fell silent.
A combat suit is not a sculpture, it cannot be enlarged by simply stacking stones. For a combat suit to move and fight, the materials involved are extremely complex.
Circuit design, motors, motion control.
And for a combat suit dozens or even hundreds of meters tall, materials are an unavoidable problem.
Seeing Ivan fall silent, Hank smiled contentedly and continued, "Pym Particles can solve this problem. They don't just simply enlarge or shrink objects, but also involve multiple unknown mysterious reactions."
"Can you let me see them?" Ivan asked.
He was already persuaded but still wanted to confirm.
Hank said meaningfully, "Not here. You have to get out first."
The implication was, if you want to see my Pym Particles, you must first prove your own abilities.
"Your Pym Particles better be as miraculous as you say."
Ivan uttered a harsh remark, then stood up and walked towards the cell door.
Thump! Thump!
"Mr. Ivan, is something wrong?"
Soon, the guard's voice sounded from outside the door.
"Tell Justin Hammer that I accept his terms."
In the Mirror Dimension, the Ancient One and Lucas personally witnessed the entire process of Hank persuading Ivan.
Including their psychological activities, which were clearly heard through telepathy.
Lucas stroked his chin.
Pym Particles + Combat Suit = Mech
Lucas once had a mech dream, and in the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse event, he had also seen mechs.
Peni Parker's Spider-Robot.
But that one was too small.
Hopefully, the mech that Hank and Ivan create together can be a hundred meters tall.
In that case, hehe.
The Ancient One, beside him, woke Lucas from his daze, "Lucas. Time to get to work."
After using the Time Stone to glimpse the future and learning that Mephisto's intention was to bring Tony and Lucas to the Quantum Realm, the Ancient One and Lucas decided to play along.
The Ancient One would go to the Quantum Realm to select a battlefield and set up a magic array.
Lucas would act on Hank, inscribing a portal spell on his shrinking Pym Particles. This would trigger when the Pym Particles were used to shrink Tony to subatomic size, teleporting Tony to the designated coordinates.
Of course, all of this had a prerequisite.
That was Hank and Ivan defeating Tony.
Together, they should be able to do it, right?
While waiting for Justin Hammer, Hank looked forward to the future.
Defeat Tony, send him to the Quantum Realm, and get his daughter back from Mephisto.
Mephisto can resurrect Hope, so can he find Janet in the Quantum Realm?
What if I could use Lucas to get Janet back?
Hank suddenly shivered, shook his head, and recovered from his daze.
Soon, a prisoner who looked, dressed, and was built exactly like Ivan was brought into the cell.
Afterward, Ivan escaped from prison and was taken away by Justin Hammer's subordinates.
A few days passed in a flash.
Tony had been very busy these past few days.
Although he had already solved the palladium poisoning problem and no longer urgently needed a new element as raw material to power the Arc Reactor, S.H.I.E.L.D. still returned the relics of his father, Howard Stark, to him.
Tony successfully discovered a new element from them, greatly improving the Arc Reactor's power efficiency. Then, he began suit testing and adjustments.
Meanwhile, in Queens, New York, at the Hammer Industries armaments factory.
Hank asked, "How are the unmanned combat suits you built using Justin Hammer's resources coming along?"
These past few days, he had often shrunk down and entered Hammer's armaments factory, asking Ivan about his progress and assisting Ivan with his research.
After a few days, he was already impatient to see his daughter.
"Very well." Ivan replied.
"I have already gained control of Hammer Industries' combat suits. And the mech, designed to work with the Pym Particles' enlarging ability, has also been debugged."
After hearing what Ivan said, Hank eagerly said, "Then let's act now, defeat Stark, and send him to the Quantum Realm."
Ivan shook his head. "Defeating Stark is easy, but how do we stop him from escaping?"
Hank wondered. "Escaping? How would he escape?"
Ivan retorted, "Don't you know he has a portal spell? Through this spell, he can achieve spatial jumps."
Then he continued, "If he didn't also have magic, I wouldn't need your help to defeat him."
Hank fell silent, his intel did not include this information.
Ivan sneered, "Don't worry. Tomorrow, the opportunity will come."
Iron Man, aren't you supposed to protect everyone? So, will you choose to fight to the death, or run away?
