SHHHLLLLP... SQUELCH... CRUNCH... THWACK!
The sounds were obscene—a wet, tearing noise that seemed to echo the destruction of her dignity. Morwenna's hands flew to her face, her fingers splaying across her eyes as if she could physically block out the sight of the floating photograph and the reality of her situation.
She curled inward as much as his massive frame would allow, trying to hide from the gaze of her ancestors, her children, and her grandchildren.
"Noooo... stop it... please... don't show them this..." she whimpered between broken sobs. "Don't let them see... what I've become... HAAAAH! AH! REX! IT'S TOO MUCH!"
But Rex was relentless. He grabbed her wrists, tearing her hands away from her face and pinning them against the bed beside her head.
Now she was forced to stare directly at the photo at the saliva-stained glass, at the smiling faces of the Nightwings, while he continued to pound into her with inhuman stamina.
