'The conflict has fallen into a standstill… or at least that's what everyone's being made to believe. I don't for one second think that's the case… Kumogakure's been awfully silent, so has Kiri, and Iwa only ever harassed Konoha. The only one to actually attack has been Sunagakure and now Grandma Mito's driven them all the way back to not only the Land of Wind, but straight back towards Sunagakure itself. They're on the tipping point, as for Ame? Mito ripped off Hanzo's head the moment she finished cleaning up the Sunagakure forces in Ame, and apparently thanks to Naori killing his summon, it was as simple as Mito grabbing him and separating his body from his head… The reports from the battlefield are calling Mito, the Blood Beast. She alone slaughtered four thousand shinobi on the Sunagakure battlefield… not to mention both Saburo and Hanzo. Albeit Hanzo was weakened in front of Mito thanks to Naori's abilities… What's really weird is that Naori and Mito are still writing normally to me… Tsunade is trying, albeit failing in trying to act normal. Even in her letters she's still that brash, upfront person, asking her to fake something is such a bad idea unless it's a Shinobi Mission. Well it's no matter, Tsunade finally made the call, and Mito approved it… It's time to fulfill my role in this war. Apparently my goal isn't to kill just to traumatize Onoki into pulling his forces back.

Kushina tapped her head with both hands and stuck her tongue like a clutz. Making a funny expression she continued to think, 'I can already hear sister Tsunade screaming Ehe Te Nandayo!? Sorry, I mean she'll scream at me for going against her advice, even when she clearly told me to avoid the system quests… I know this isn't… This might not be the best thing to do. But Soutarou would never hurt me and… and I can't… I can't fall behind! I refuse that evil uchiha won't get to hog Soutarou all to himself! Plus I'm the one who's going to the battlefield with him. So… I need all the strength I can get… Or how will I keep up with him?'

Kushina gritted her teeth before a dumbfound expression formed on her face and she squinted her eyes and scratched her head again, 'Was that supposed to hurt? It just felt like how I always do when I use the shadow clone jutsu… Then again grandma Mito and Sister Tsunade look at me weird whenever I do that… but it's fine right? Though… I wonder if I should get Soutarou to get me a tailed beast after we beat up Iwa?'

Flexing her fists and clenching them open and closed, she smiled happily as she felt just how smoothly all her motor functions felt.
'Another reason to thank Sister Tsunade, Sister Naori, and Grandma Mito for revealing that the system is something we all have… Physique is your actual body's strength… Taijutsu relates to all motor functions, reflexes, and close quarters combat skill. Chakra is actually based on personal potential based on what Grandma calculated, and the rest of the skills scale the same across all people, but certain types of skills actually improve your knowledge, which makes them more valuable, at the same time certain stats enhance your base talent. For me this is the best, I don't know enough ninjutsu to make a difference, I should stick to being a supporter of Soutarou. Though I need to report the weird things this 'being' has been saying to grandma and need to make sure she knows my feelings towards Soutarou might've changed or increased because of it… Not that I really mind, but it'll help Grandma.'
'Plus why would I ever get mad at Soutarou when I have sister Tsunade and Grandma Mito to beat him up and send him straight into my arms for comfort? Beat him more so he comes running "home."'

'Where is that idiot? You know somehow I bet Kushina said something like status out loud and this whole mess happened because of her… I'm like 2000% sure I know where Naruto got his idiot brain from, he just inherited the same damn brain from Kushina! I swear that girl just came up to me a few weeks ago and just grabbed me and said, "We're kissing now!" and then bam she head butted straight into my lips, bruised them really nicely. Worse, I bet she forgot to wake up today… She does know we're going to the battlefield with the Supply Corps right?'
'Speaking of going to the battlefield, I was ordered to wear a blond haired wig and wear brown contacts-'

A flying red haired girl crashed into Soutarou with so much force that he actually fell over and groaned. He didn't even bother looking to see which damn idiot threw herself at him and he annoyedly said, "Kushina-san… Please get off of me and remember my name is Kintoki Sakata."
Kushina pouted and said, "We haven't even left the village… come on~"
Soutarou smacked her hand away and said, "That's all the more reason, there's spies everywhere. So get your act together… this isn't some game, Kushina… We're going to the battlefield, an active battlefield!"
Kushina pouted before nodding her head though all together she looked like a sad dog begging and whimpering for a treat and unfortunately Soutarou was a big softy. Soutarou muttered "Fine… just stand by me, don't make too much of a fuss… Please…"
Kushina's eyes sparkled and she said, "I knew you wouldn't be mean to me Sou- I mean Kintoki! Hey hey Sou- I mean Kintoki what if I call you Kintama?"
Soutarou choked and stared at Kushina before thinking, 'Now that you mention it, isn't that his name too…? What are the chances… not to mention the golden- WRONG SERIES DAMMIT! THIS IS NARUTO! GET OUT! Ehem where were we? Yeah… Kushina just being stupid... and now she's infected me too.... Focus... Focus! Yeah that's right... It's time to go traumatize an old man…'
Kushina kept poking Soutarou before then biting him just like a dog on the arm making him just close his eyes and purse his lip before muttering out loud, "I give up… By the time we get to this damn battlefield, if Onoki doesn't know who I am I'll sing the Pokemon theme while I capture Iwa shinobi with wood release."
Kushina just thought, 'What is Pokemon…'
And thus bickering along the route and thoroughly throwing the mood off for the entire supply caravan from a grim one to a one of exasperation the group moved towards the land of grass…
