~Mito POV~
Finally freed of Soutarou's shenanigans Mito began reviewing war preparations, resource allocation, and related documents that she in her capacity as a Hokage Elder could access and a bit more thanks to her status as the First Elder of Konoha. Just as she was settling down she felt a chill run down her spine as a yin chakra signature exploded, but unlike what she was accustomed to it was this chakra was unexpectedly warm… almost blisteringly so. Focusing her Kagura's Minds Eye in on the chakra revealed it to be Mikoto's chakra signature…
'Mikoto awakened the Mangekyo?! No this feels strange like an inverse mangekyo? This is completely different from what Tobirama said.'
Rushing over she waited until Soutarou and Mikoto separated also subtly verifying his safety before waiting for each to return to their rooms here at the Senju Manor. Normally she'd have spied on the pair or just burst in, but the events and the rescue Soutarou staged were too bold and romantic… even she felt her heart flutter with girlish desire even if for a minuscule amount of time. So she out of courtesy for Mikoto gave the two privacy after confirming both were still in one piece…
Staring at Mikoto she stayed hidden until finally Mikoto entered her room that she used on training days, with Mito quickly appearing infront of and knocking on the door.
Mikoto gently and brightly spoke, "Lady Mito?"
Mito stating, "Mikoto-Chan… I just wanted to check that everything was alright."
Mikoto gently nodded and invited Mito into the room and brought out tea and snacks before answering, "No… in fact nothing's ever been better. Soutarou… is really cool don't you think lady Mito?"
Mito finally figured out where the chill came from… that face that Mikoto was making was raising a crazy danger flag. Mito said, "Mikoto you should be careful Soutarou might intend to go after multiple girls-"
Surprisingly Mikoto just sipped on her tea saying, "Let him… in the end he'll always come home."
Mito start sweat dropping before saying trying to shift the conversation, "By the way I felt an influx of yin chakra did your sharingan evolve?"
Mikoto paused before nodding gently revealing two black suns in her red eyes that gleamed warmly not like the usual arrogant and cold energy that they should Mito began to ask before Mikoto interrupted her saying, "Before you continue Lady Mito… yes my mangekyo sharingan is vastly different from others… mine was awakened from true love… and because of that because of Souta… my precious Soutarou… my eyes will not exhaust themselves… much like my ancestor… though my ocular power will have to grow some more before I can use sussano on the scale my ancestor Madara-sama could."
Mito gulped and internally cursed while saying, "Is that how it works?"
Mikoto shrugged and said, "I'm not sure… the Uchiha records my grandfather showed me and mentioned to me say that the mangekyo can't be awakened through love, blissx or happiness rather they can only be awakened through suffering and lose… though as we can see that's clearly not the case as my eyes evolved the moment Soutarou came to me after rescuing me… ahh what a pleasant memory… Lady Mito was it like this for you and Lord Hashirama?"
Mito paused and awkwardly said, "Similar though Hashirama and I were in an arranged marriage no rescuing there though… though yes it was… beautiful."
Mikoto's eyes shined before she said, "Mhm… Lady Mito you'll help me manage Souta won't you? He's abit of a handful?"
Mito waved her hand and snorted saying, "You'll figure it out maybe… Hashirama always ran away from me to Madara and I still managed. Though your case is quite different… you aren't married to Soutarou… you're notably obsessive about him… and the people Soutarou can run off too are all girls. A warning Mikoto your mangekyo might be different… but it's obsessive tendencies seem the same. So be wary, extraordinarily wary. Do not fall into the rabbit hole of obsession. I really only came to check on this much… I'll take my leave now."
Mito excused herself, with her instincts saying Mikoto let her warning fly in through one ear and out the other.
~Mikoto POV, scene continues~
Once Lady Mito had left Mikoto tidied the room and muttered, "You don't understand anything… these eyes… mean nothing… my obsession with Soutarou is what powers them… keep myself in check? I'd never harm Soutarou if he wishes for me to die I'll die, it's simply that old lady worries too much."
'No matter since she warned me I can at least outwardly show I'm trying so Soutarou doesn't get warned unnecessarily by Mito…'
Mikoto sat back down and held her cup of tea in a perfect yamato nadashiko posture. Just as she was about to get up a new notification rang out from the system panel…

Mito's brows furrowed as she read a new system prompt…

'Mikoto I understand… but what the hell is Soutarou doing? Even Hashirama's strength didn't explode like this! What did he suddenly awaken the mangekyo as well? Nonsense his comprehension strength can't have reached that level…'
Spreading out her senses she found Soutarou in his room only to feel his much more balanced chakra.
Mito frowned as she thought, 'His yin chakra is balancing out with yang now… in fact I'd even agrue that his yin chakra is more heavy than his yang… that shouldn't be the case… in Hashirama's case his yin chakra was nowhere near his yang… in Soutarou's case it's like his yang is actually being forced to grow due to his yin… that really shouldn't be the case… unless he really did somehow awaken the mangekyo… but forget the mangekyo he didn't even have the sharingan! Could be like that girl Tobirama had a crush on… what was her name… ah Toka! Senju Toka! Her genjutsu was clearly at the level of a mangekyo even back then… if it weren't for her Tobirama wouldn't have even bothered to develop the Bringer of Darkness Jutsu… though Toka was so much better at it than him the creator… still I clearly remember her Senju Yang chakra and her interestingly thick yin chakra… Tobirama and I used to joke she was from the Kurama Clan… still if that's what Soutarou's experiencing then his potential is clearly above Hashirama's not to mention Soutarou's self developed jutsu like the Lightning style or even that Rasengan… if he's reached Kage Level it's probably just scraping the barrel type… still at the very least I probably won't have to worry about his safety unless Madara on the field… though at that point Mikoto, I, Tsunade, and Naori will probably be enough to take the brunt of the oncoming force…'
'Not my headache anymore I suppose… with how fast he's growing Soutarou will shape the next era. And this time a Madara won't stop it.'
Mito's eyes flashed with burning determination as she envisioned the future…

'Mother's chakra… it's agitated? No it's anxious… so many feelings… and her chakra… it's recovering! T-this- This! It seems I need to speed things up.'

In an unannouced and secure location within the Land of Iron, five figures surrounded a rounded table with grim expressions.
One of the larger bronzed, and overly muscular figures bellowed out, "Let's cut the crap, we all are here because of one reason. Wood Release and its reemergence. We were all there when Lord Hashirama dominated our teacher's generation if not for Madara Uchiha all of the villages other than the Leaf would have been eternally suppressed. None of us want its existence and unfortunately we're in the worst case scenario, another Hashirama is in the making and likely will be ready much sooner and here longer. Worse than that, that demon lady Mito has somehow regained her youth. Not all of you may know this, but for the sake of finishing Konoha permanently I'll share that the Mito fully regained her vitality through the Nine Tails. Meaning she's essentially immortal in terms of age. All of us know that after Madara and Lord Hashirama… only Mito can claim to be second. And now we haven't a clue as to how strong she's become. Worse a new Hashirama has invigorated her once dying spirit. Not to mention the new reports I've received reports about a new medical Shinobi System spear headed by Hashirama's Granddaughter… all in all bluntly… the Senju Clan is on the verge of entering their second golden age. And this time without a powerful Uchiha to restrain them… in fact the Uchiha are completely submissive now. Meaning… if allowed… Konoha will dominate again without opposition and we will be forced to bow our heads, worse this new Lord Hashirama from my reports is much more like the Second Hokage. Aggressive, innovative, extremely intelligent, and dangerous without illusions of peace. He will most definitely try to unify the Shinobi World. So we are left with a short time frame of five to ten years. Though Kumogakure's intelligence has gathered, the boy is already at Jonin if not Elite Jonin strength at merely ten years old. So my estimates may be vastly off and we only have two years. My proposal is a united front and attacking Konohagakure from all sides with full force… As for the spoils… the kekkei genkai… the secrets… let's keep it the same as the Uzushiogakure Plan. First come first served. Though the Land of Fire will be split into five zones."
"I find that improper. Amegakure is not one of the Great-"
A long breaded balding man with brown hair and a notably large nose interjected saying, "Normally I'd agree with you Kazekage-san… but amongst us we all know that Amegakure possesses the credibility to sit at this table. Let's not make a mess especially in these worrying times. Considering the level of threat we're facing… let's put aside selfish interests for the moment. We'll have all the time in the world to fight amongst each other once Konoha has been… removed from the equation."
A black haired older man simply narrowed his eyes and said, "I agree with the Tsuchikage and the Raikage. The threat of Konoha comes first. Though we must discuss what to do with the Nine Tails."
A masked figure snorted and said, "Forget the Nine Tails. Even if Konoha is destroyed you will not be able to kill Mito Uzumaki so easily nor remove the Nine Tails from her without killing both the Nine Tails and her. Just let the beast reform and whoever gets it. Get it."
The bronzed figure's eyes glinted and he grinned toothily. While the short balding bread man with the large nose just closed his eyes in subtle contemplation. The man who had opposed Ame's right to the land of Fire sat with narrowed blue eyes, and dark blue almost metallic colored hair. While the oldest amongst the group a true relic from the Warring States Era, with slightly graying hair grunted in agreement albeit with an icy chill. Lastly the lower face masked figure stated, "Then it is decided. We all go to war with Konoha. Since no one wishes to lead the charge… We of Amegakure shall take the spearhead."
"Kumogakure shall follow immediately after." The bronzed figure added.
The short large nosed figure threw in, "Iwagakure's Thousand Man armies will join the fray immediately after Ame begins."
The aged man sighed and said, "Kiri's main forces will take time to arrive. I'll send our ANBU and elite squads along with our Seven Mist Swordsmen to harass and destroy Konoha supply routes once Ame's drawn the Konoha forced to battle."
The blue haired man paused before saying, "Sungakure will also follow Ame's lead and head immediately into action."
Others eyes narrowed before smirking in realization. Each thought to stab the others in the back the moment they could, but ultimately they all decided to work together…
Once the meeting concluded a page with a list of names in red ink was left behind…
