The store bell rang. "Ting."
Kenji stood behind the counter. Ordinary life. But his heart... was not ordinary.
"I dreamed..." he put his hand on his chest. "...of someone."
The store door opened. A young man entered. Calm. A familiar presence. Close. So close.
Kenji raised his eyes. And froze.
"Haru...?"
The young man was surprised. "Sorry?"
"What's your name?"
"Haru."
The world stopped.
Kenji walked toward him. Slowly. As if afraid the dream would disappear.
"You..." he stood before him. And without thinking, he hugged him. Tight. Tears fell.
"I... I found you."
Haru was surprised. But after a few seconds... he hugged back.
"I... feel like I know you," he whispered.
Silence.
Haru pulled back. Looked at him.
"But I don't remember."
Kenji's heart broke. But he smiled.
