Chapter 32 - Season 2 Chapter 1: The Violet World That Refused to End

The sky was no longer blue.

It breathed in shades of violet — deep, endless, and unsettling, like a wound that refused to close.

Haru opened his eyes slowly.

Silence greeted him first.

Not peaceful silence.

A watching silence.

The ground beneath him shimmered like liquid glass, reflecting fragments of memories instead of reflections. Buildings stretched toward the sky at impossible angles, their edges dissolving into particles of light before reforming again.

The world was rebuilding itself.

Again.

Haru exhaled sharply.

"I destroyed this place…"

His voice echoed — but the echo answered differently each time, repeating his words with slight emotional variations.

I destroyed this place.

I destroyed…

Destroyed…

He stood up.

The golden Axe of Mercy was gone.

In its place remained only faint glowing scars along his hand.

Ahead of him, a ruined tower collapsed — only to rebuild itself seconds later, stone flowing backward through time.

Haru watched carefully.

One minute passed.

The sky darkened.

A distant bell rang.

And suddenly—

Everything reset.

The broken tower stood whole again.

The dust returned to the air.

The same bird-like shadow crossed the sky in the exact same motion.

Haru clenched his fists.

"The time loop…"

A calm voice answered behind him.

"Not a loop. Stabilization."

Haru turned instantly.

A girl stood there.

Silver hair moved without wind, and violet flowers grew slowly along the ground beneath her feet before fading away.

Her eyes carried knowledge that felt older than the world itself.

"Monica," Haru whispered without knowing why he recognized her.

She nodded slightly.

"You finally woke up in the correct version of the world."

Haru frowned.

"Correct version?"

Monica walked past him, observing the city.

"This is the Violet World. The world created after the fracture."

"The fracture…" Haru repeated. Memories flashed — the doctor, the organization, the collapsing reality.

"You mean the experiment."

Monica stopped.

"No," she said softly. "I mean the mistake."

Far away, a monstrous figure appeared between buildings — but as Haru focused, the creature flickered… and became a human silhouette for a brief second before turning back into a monster.

Haru's eyes widened.

"What was that?"

"The new law," Monica replied. "Every monster has been replaced by the person suffering in reality."

Haru felt cold.

"So when I fight them…"

"You fight someone who is alive."

Silence fell between them.

The world trembled again.

A clock appeared in the sky.

6:00.

Time moved forward.

6:30.

6:59.

Then—

6:00.

Reset.

Haru stared upward.

"This world refuses to move forward."

Monica looked at him carefully.

"It cannot progress while more than one Haru exists."

The words landed heavily.

Haru stepped back.

"...What?"

A figure appeared across the street.

Same height.

Same posture.

Same eyes.

Haru.

Another Haru stood there, watching silently.

But his expression was calmer… older.

Behind him, reality distorted again — and for a brief moment, a third silhouette appeared, fading in and out like unfinished existence.

Haru's breathing grew uneven.

"The fracture duplicated you," Monica explained. "Past, present, and future versions coexist."

The older Haru smiled faintly.

Not hostile.

Not friendly.

Understanding.

"You finally see it," the future Haru said. "This world was never meant to survive us."

The ground cracked violently.

Buildings collapsed — then rebuilt instantly.

Haru shouted in frustration and struck a wall.

It shattered.

Then reformed.

Again.

And again.

"No matter what I destroy…" Haru whispered, trembling, "it comes back."

Monica approached slowly.

"Because destruction isn't the solution."

"Then what is?!"

She met his eyes.

"Only one version of you can remain."

Silence.

The implication was clear.

Haru looked at his other self.

Memories flooded him — Joceka, the fire, the pain, the loneliness he tried to escape.

"I already lost him once…" Haru murmured.

The future Haru's smile softened.

"I know."

For a moment, the violet sky brightened.

And far above them—

A transparent figure appeared.

Joceka.

Barely visible.

Fading.

As if existing somewhere else.

Haru's heart stopped.

"Joceka…?"

The figure looked toward him — but its body slowly turned translucent, particles drifting upward toward an unseen world.

Monica whispered:

"He is becoming real."

The sky cracked with light.

And somewhere beyond the horizon…

Someone was watching.

Someone who had started all of this.

The doctor.

And the Violet World began to tremble as if preparing for war.
