Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: The Conversation Between the Two

But there was no helping it.

Kelly sighed quietly in her heart. They still couldn't be completely sure what kind of person Leo really was, so someone had to confirm whether he truly had the ability to send them back to their original world.

This world was interesting, sure—but she still had something far more important waiting for her back home.

Revenge.

Yes. Revenge.

Kelly subconsciously ran her fingers over the scars on her body. She didn't even need to think to know that after losing both herself and Katu—combined with the instigation and betrayal of a traitor—Arden Heights would never be able to hold. Even someone as bad at strategy as her understood how devastating internal collapse was to a fighting force.

More importantly, when she fell toward the Sea of Skies, she had already suspected that there was a traitor among her unit. If she could return to Arden Heights soon enough, she might still catch the Kartel forces before their full assault.

The price was nothing more than the chastity she had kept for over twenty years.

Compared to the lives of her comrades—and the chance to personally kill the traitor—that price was insignificant.

The reason she hadn't trusted Leo at first was simple: he had been far too honest, far too fast. Talking openly about things most people would never admit made it hard not to suspect that he might be the one behind their transmigration, someone with ulterior motives—perhaps to toy with them, kill them afterward, or turn them into slaves. She had seen far too many scum like that over the years.

But…

Tomorrow would be the fifth day.

She had already been in this world for nearly five days. Who knew when the Kartel would launch their attack on Arden Heights? If she didn't go back soon, even if she eventually returned, she might never make it back to Arden Heights itself.

She hadn't forgotten how she arrived—falling toward the sea. If she returned the same way, she would still have to pass through at least one or two Kartel camps.

"Still, there's no need to rush this much, right? Wouldn't it be better to observe a bit longer?" Tsunade said softly.

She could understand Kelly.

If her own family and friends were still alive, and if sleeping with Leo really was the only short-term way back, she wouldn't care about something like purity either.

Ninjas didn't have the luxury of obsessing over such things.

Besides, as a medical ninja, restoring that thin membrane—or even making it look untouched—was trivial. She could do it effortlessly.

In fact, she wouldn't even need to do anything special. Just activating the Strength of a Hundred Seal once would repair it completely.

But Tsunade had no intention of going back.

There was nothing for her there anymore.

Konoha was nothing but a place of sorrow to her. The only person she felt any lingering concern for was Shizune—and even then, she was just Dan's niece. Even if Tsunade vanished entirely, the old man would arrange everything properly for her.

After all, for a teacher already showing his age, he still knew exactly what could soften his heart.

"I'd love to explore this strange world a bit more before leaving too, but I really can't," Kelly said with a shrug. "There are people waiting for me back home, and things I absolutely have to do. Besides, I've always been curious about whether that kind of thing actually feels good, so I guess this also answers a question."

She acted completely casual.

Tsunade fell silent for a moment. Honestly, she quite liked Kelly's personality. If she weren't in such a bad mental state, and if there were anything here worth enjoying, she would've happily shared a drink with her.

But even now, she couldn't muster that kind of interest.

"Then… before you leave, come find me once," Tsunade said quietly. "That kind of thing leaves… traces. I can help you fix it."

It sounded awkward, even somewhat deceitful—but Tsunade could see that Kelly was genuinely sacrificing herself for her friends. This wasn't something that deserved condemnation.

That said, in Tsunade's era, such matters were still taken very seriously.

"Huh? Isn't that basically lying?" Kelly waved it off. "No need. Yeah, it's a little regretful—I always imagined something like that happening after a romantic date—but if I've already decided to do it, there's no point clinging to that stuff. And if someone truly likes me, they wouldn't care about that anyway, right?"

She continued bluntly.

"And honestly, fake is fake. Deception is deception. If two people are really right for each other, as long as they're faithful afterward, who would care about something like that? And if they do care, it'd turn into a sweet romantic comedy moment, not a source of conflict."

Kelly proudly tapped her chest with her thumb.

"Besides, I'm not even sure I'll ever get married. I might die on some adventure someday. So why would I care about this? If I do it, I won't hide it."

Tsunade, raised in a semi-feudal era, stared at Kelly in surprise. After a moment, she shook her head.

"Sorry. I can't accept that way of thinking. I believe that when you love someone, you should give them your very best—your first time included."

She hugged her arms to herself. It felt absurd. She was clearly older than Kelly, yet she was far less free-spirited.

After hesitating, she asked,

"You must have family who love you very much, right?"

Otherwise, she couldn't understand why Kelly would be willing to give up her purity just to return.

"They're all dead," Kelly answered calmly.

"They were shot to death right in front of me when I was very young. If not for a cool old man who raised and trained me, I probably would've ended up like those women who had to sell their bodies just to survive under Kartel rule. I mean, objectively speaking, I am pretty attractive."

She even squeezed her soft curves as she spoke.

"By normal standards, these are definitely big."

As she said that, her gaze drifted toward Tsunade—whose absurdly massive chest looked even more exaggerated on her relatively short frame.

If Tsunade didn't have such a clearly mature, weathered face, calling her a "baby-faced busty beauty" wouldn't have been wrong at all.

"…Well," Tsunade murmured, instinctively covering her chest.

She was long past the age of caring about size comparisons, but being admired still made the corners of her lips lift unconsciously.

It was like how men insisted length didn't matter—hardness and stamina did—yet still obsessed over size anyway. A very old-fashioned pride tied to physical attributes.

For someone like Tsunade, who still held onto old values, she was proud of her figure.

Healthy. Beautiful. Built to bear children.

Yes—back in her era, being "good for childbearing" was a serious standard of beauty, and Tsunade embodied it perfectly.

Her looks were outstanding too. If not for her temper and her choice to become a ninja, she could've easily become a daimyo's wife.

Not the Fire Daimyo, of course—the blood relation was too close—but perhaps Lightning or Earth…

Though considering those countries' relations with Konoha…

Yeah. Unrealistic.

Still, what caught her attention more was something else.

"You're really strong," Tsunade said softly.

She couldn't help but feel envious. Kelly's life had been far harsher than hers, yet Kelly lived so openly and optimistically. Tsunade, by contrast, had reached a point where even death felt acceptable.

They were worlds apart.

Kelly shrugged.

"There's no such thing as strong or weak. Just surviving already takes everything we've got. So why not enjoy every day we're alive? Who knows if we'll even see tomorrow? Living buried in sadness just makes life boring."

She downed the rest of her beer in one gulp, grabbed a towel, and began drying her toned, beautiful body without any hesitation.

Tsunade climbed out of the tub as well. When she bent over, her overwhelming size drew Kelly's eyes immediately—droplets of water gathering and sliding down, eventually dripping from the pink tips in a long, glistening stream.

"..."

That scale was honestly beyond words.
