Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Reverse Cursed Technique!

Su Mu knew intuitively that the combination of the brute and the dwarf was dangerous, but the speed of the space blade was simply too high. Even with the heightened dynamic vision provided by his Six Eyes, he could not fully track its trajectory. Despite his best efforts to dodge, Su Mu was gravely injured; the spatial rift had nearly sliced him in half.

Ignoring the agony, he immediately reached out and pressed forward, using the Cursed Technique "Cang" to create a point of intense attraction behind the strong man. The crushing force pulled the brute backward, and the already damaged wall finally gave way under the pressure, shattering completely. The man was slammed into the shop behind him, sending customers screaming in terror.

However, this uncharged attack did little damage to the giant. He had protected the dwarf on his back with his own massive frame, ensuring neither of them was truly hurt. The strong man climbed out of the rubble, dusted himself off, and ignored the fleeing civilians. He looked at Su Mu—who was bleeding profusely from his chest and abdomen—and flashed a cruel smile.

"Stupid kid," he sneered. "How are you going to respond to a slash that cuts through space itself?"

He began walking toward Su Mu, intent on fulfilling his threat: to snap Su Mu's limbs like twigs and deliver him to Colonel Stryker. He was not worried about Su Mu dying; Stryker's hatred for mutants was so deep that he would not mourn the loss of a "tool" as long as the boy was still breathing when he arrived.

...

On a nearby rooftop, two opposing factions were locked in a tense standoff. On one side stood Cyclops and Storm from the X-Men; on the other, Juggernaut and Mystique from the Brotherhood of Mutants. They had crossed paths while searching for Su Mu, and a heated dispute had broken out.

Cyclops kept his hand near his visor, ready to unleash an optic blast. "Su Mu is a new mutant life; he must not be brainwashed by your Brotherhood!"

Mystique stood behind Juggernaut, dodging the potential line of fire. "Mutants are the superior race, Scott. Humans are merely ants. An exceptional mutant like Su Mu belongs with us. We will lead him down the right path!"

"Is 'the right path' just another word for terrorism?" Storm countered.

Before the argument could escalate, Storm suddenly pointed downward, her voice filled with alarm. "Look! Su Mu's condition is critical!"

The dispute vanished as everyone looked down. Their target—the young man they both sought to recruit—had been nearly bisected by the space blade. Neither side expected Stryker's men to be so close to a kill. Cyclops prepared to remove his glasses, Storm's hair began to lift as her eyes turned white, and Juggernaut braced himself to charge. They had to save him. Even with such a horrific injury, they knew of mutants with healing factors who could save him if they acted immediately.

But then, they froze in shock at what happened next. He had another ability.

...

The strong man approached Su Mu slowly, his face twisted in a mockery of a grin. But after only a few steps, he stopped dead. He pointed a trembling finger at Su Mu, his voice cracking with disbelief. "You... how is this possible? Why are your injuries gone?!"

The distance and the dust from the collapsed wall had obscured his view, but as he stepped closer, the truth was undeniable. The massive, lethal wound across Su Mu's waist was knitting itself back together at an impossible speed. By the time the brute stopped moving, the injury had healed completely.

The giant stared at the white-haired man in front of him. Impenetrable spatial defense, black-hole-like attraction, elite physical stats, and now high-speed self-healing? Could he be the legendary Level 5 mutant?

The tide had turned. Under the wide eyes of the X-Men and the fearful gazes of the soldiers, Su Mu grinned again. "I've changed my mind. Even if you cry and apologize now, I won't spare your life."

"You...!" The strong man hesitated, his courage failing. His only trump card was the dwarf's space attack. He grabbed the dwarf by the scruff of his neck, thrusting him forward. "Do it again! Release the space blade and kill him!"

The dwarf was clearly drained, trembling and deathly pale. But under the giant's pressure, he forced himself to strike again. The blade hissed through the air, fast as lightning. Su Mu was prepared this time, but the speed was still too great to dodge entirely. His arm and shoulder were nearly severed.

However, with the help of the Reverse Cursed Technique, the wound closed in seconds. Watching a fatal injury vanish in moments broke the giant's will to fight. He realized he was not fighting a mutant; he was fighting a monster. Without a second thought, he threw the dwarf toward Su Mu as a distraction and turned to run.

"Stop him for me!" he screamed to the nearby soldiers. He no longer had any courage; he just wanted to survive.

Su Mu watched the dwarf flying through the air. His Six Eyes told him the small man was completely spent. He reached out with both hands, and under the dwarf's terrified gaze, the gravitational pressure completely tore his body apart. A shower of blood erupted, but none of it touched Su Mu; it was halted by the Infinity, suspended in the air like the bullets around him.

Su Mu then turned his eyes toward the retreating giant. The army was still firing frantically, and the brute had already made significant distance.

"If I ignore you, you will definitely escape," Su Mu whispered. He extended his index finger, pointing it precisely at the strong man's back.

"Reversed Cursed Technique: 'Red'!"
