Maddy stood frozen, eyes sparkling watching the swirling vortex.
"A SUPER RARE SPAWN?! Is it really happening?! Is it… the Chimera Worm?!"
Before the creature inside could even finish forming, two figures had already shot into the air. Sephiran and Arach streaked upward like twin comets, both racing straight toward the vortex. Neither of them looked back. Both were determined to be the first to reach it.
"I'M THE FAVORITE!"
Sephiran screamed, his Hell Body flaring into a supernova of dark heat.
"NOT TODAY, LITTLE BROTHER!"
Arach roared, his six weapon arms spinning like the blades of a lethal turbine.
Maddy could only stare at her two sons with a mix of shock and disbelief.
"These two are actually serious about that favorite son thing, aren't they?"
The vortex pulsed. A single, slimy, pale head poked out. It was... a standard, bug eyed… Man Eater Worm. The creature barely had time to release a confused little "mewl—" before two shadows slammed into it.
