The next day, an Angel suddenly attacked. Shinji, Asuka, and the others rushed to pilot their respective Evas.
After a grueling and desperate battle, they finally managed to defeat and destroy the Angel.
However, Asuka made significant errors during the operation due to her condition, putting the entire battle situation in grave danger.
They nearly lost. If Shinji hadn't gone Berserk and turned the tide at the last moment, the outcome would have been unthinkable.
Upon returning to base, even though Asuka had sustained injuries during combat, she still faced a harsh reprimand from Commander Gendo Ikari.
"Asuka-chan, your synchronization rate fluctuated wildly during the battle earlier. It even dropped below 50% at one point. It was truly painful to watch…" Chris said, his tone dripping with mock concern.
