Chapter 98 - Sacrificing the Great God Loki!

"What did you say? He looks like me?"

"Yes. But it's only superficial."

Grayfia responded indifferently to Hiro's shock, her tone barely changing.

"After receiving my Lord's grace and returning to this world, I quelled the civil war among the three factions and defeated Sirzechs and Ajuka, the competitors for the title of Lucifer."

"After that, I underwent maid training in the Gremory household, waiting for my Lord's return. Over the years, I've encountered no fewer than ten humans who share the same appearance as you and my Lord."

No wonder she didn't react much.

She'd already seen this kind of thing before.

Hiro nodded inwardly as he listened, understanding her logic.

No matter how unique Grayfia's "Lord" might look, with the sheer population of humanity, it was inevitable that a few-or even dozens-of people with identical appearances would exist.

Which meant-

Grayfia didn't identify her "Lord" by appearance alone.

There had to be some other factor.

And... returning to this world.

Hiro narrowed his eyes slightly, watching Grayfia's back as he processed the implication.

Whether Grayfia's Lord was a transmigrator or not, she herself had clearly experienced world-crossing.

Her strength must have been obtained in another world.

Rozen didn't have a system.

But that didn't mean every "interloper" was the same.

If a being could cross worlds on their own, the probability of them possessing a system rose sharply.

Of course, world-crossing was rare.

But not impossible.

That meant some characters couldn't be ruled out.

For example-Kusanagi Godou in his completed state.

Or the great figures of Little Garden.

Or even Type-Moon's Miyamoto Musashi.

...Though that last one was questionable.

Aside from those, there was another possibility-one Hiro personally preferred.

Maybe my future self met Grayfia, formed a bond with her, and for some reason wasn't recognized by her.

While he was thinking, Grayfia continued.

"Although I've seen many humans with the same appearance, over all these years, you are the only one who has managed to enter the Underworld."

"That is why I'm telling you this exception."

"Considering my Lord's various methods, the possibility of time travel or reincarnation cannot be ruled out."

"Your Lord is truly amazing, Grayfia-dono."

"Thank you for the compliment."

She paused, then added with a rare hint of playful liveliness.

"Perhaps Hiro-kun was actually complimenting himself."

"I hope so."

While Hiro and Grayfia spoke quietly, the meeting had progressed to the point where he could no longer be ignored.

"So-what's your opinion?"

Azazel's usual frivolous expression vanished as he looked straight at him.

"Nanamiya Hiro. The unknown Sekiryuutei whose strength surpasses the current Hakuryuukou."

Following Azazel's question, Sirzechs, Serafall, and Michael all turned toward him.

Under their gazes, Hiro waved his hand casually.

"As long as the danger doesn't involve the people around me, I don't care what you decide. War or peace."

"But-"

His eyes narrowed.

His gaze swept across Sirzechs, Serafall, Azazel, Michael, and Vali.

At that moment, Conqueror's Haki surged through his eyes.

The pressure crashed down silently.

Sirzechs and the others felt their hearts pound as a tangible mental weight pressed on them.

"If anyone dares to harm my family or those I care about-no matter who they are, no matter what faction they belong to, no matter where they hide-"

"I will personally hunt them down and grind them to dust."

When Hiro's Haki-laced declaration ended, the conference room fell silent.

No one spoke.

Sirzechs, Michael, and Azazel all watched him with complicated expressions.

Just a gaze... and it carries this level of deterrence.

This human-Nanamiya Hiro-

might be even stronger than the Queen of Lucifer.

Two transcendent Sekiryuuteis.

A truly interesting situation.

But thankfully-

both of them were deeply connected to the Devil faction.

Sirzechs felt a faint sense of relief as his gaze lingered briefly on Hiro and Rias beside him.

Damn it. Both Sekiryuuteis are absurdly strong.

Vali's future is going to be rough.

Azazel wiped an imaginary cold sweat internally, feeling sympathy for the half-devil he treated like an adopted son.

As for Serafall-

Just this aura alone makes him worthy of Sona.

Great looks. Perfect personality. Overwhelming strength. Possibly even stronger than me.

Missing a man like this would be a tragedy.

And he's the man Little Rias likes.

I should go stir up some trouble.

"In that case, it's settled."

Azazel clapped his hands.

"We'll quickly sign the Three Factions Treaty, and then-"

Dong!

A world-shaking sound erupted from the direction of the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Everyone turned instantly.

A massive magic array unfolded in the sky.

From it, groups of black-robed mages poured out, immediately clashing with the devils, angels, and fallen angels who reacted at once.

Azazel narrowed his eyes.

"These are the stray magicians of the Khaos Brigade, right? How did they find this location?"

"An inside spy, perhaps?"

Sirzechs voiced the implication casually.

Dong!

Another heavy sound rang out.

An elderly male mage stepped into view.

Long wavy white hair.

A thick beard.

A benevolent face.

A black cloak etched with strange patterns over a white robe.

A staff in his hand.

Yet even more eye-catching-

was the "deity" crucified and suspended beside him.

"I hereby sacrifice the Great God Loki!"

...Alright.

Take a guess who this old man is.
