Chapter 70 - Chapter 69: I Can Teach You!

The next morning.

Cassius sat up groggily and habitually stretched.

As he stretched his body, a very subtle feeling welled up in his heart.

Cassius felt his body was light and full of energy!

He got out of bed and walked into the guest bathroom, standing in front of the mirror to brush his teeth.

The face in the mirror was still the same face, features unchanged, but his complexion seemed exceptionally good!

Cassius made a funny face at the mirror.

Suddenly, he felt his face was more flexible and relaxed than before, the arc of his smile more natural.

His skin looked firm and glowing, without even the slight dullness that staying up late might bring.

His originally slightly yellowish teeth had also become whiter!

His eyes were much clearer!

His sclera, which used to be a bit turbid and bloodshot from staying up late, were now distinctly black and white, incredibly pure.

He tried doing a "deep breath + relax shoulders and neck" movement, and his body reacted exceptionally coordinately.

"Is this the effect of the [Male God Enhancer]?"

He blinked at the mirror, feeling it was a bit magical.

These changes were barely noticeable unless one looked closely, but combined together, they made him look exceptionally good today, radiating vitality.

He finished washing up, changed clothes, and walked out of the guest room.

Kristen and Dakota were already sitting at the small dining table in the living room eating the breakfast delivered by the hotel.

Kristen, holding a coffee cup, turned to look at Cassius. Her gaze lingered on his face for two seconds, her eyebrow raising slightly, a flash of surprise in her gray-green eyes!

"Sleep well?"

Kristen spoke, her tone sounding no different from usual, but her eyes swept over him again.

"Not bad!"

Cassius sat down next to her and picked up a piece of toast.

He could feel Kristen's gaze falling on him intermittently.

Her words were teasing, but the confusion in her eyes was real.

Cassius felt secretly pleased. It seemed the effect of the [Male God Enhancer] was perceptible to intimate people.

"You seem a little different today!"

"Different how?"

Cassius kept a poker face.

"Can't put my finger on it!"

Kristen tilted her head to examine him, unconsciously tapping her fingers on the table.

"Just feel like your complexion is great, very energetic!"

[Kristen Favorability +1, Current Favorability 96]

The favorability score above Kristen's head, which hadn't moved for a long time, increased by 1 point!

Was the effect that significant?

Cassius rubbed his chin.

He shrugged and spouted nonsense with a straight face. "Maybe the air here is nourishing?"

"Or maybe it's because someone snuck in halfway through the night to provide some energy replenishment!"

Kristen blushed and kicked him under the table.

"Morning!"

Cassius smiled and greeted Dakota.

Dakota looked up, half a waffle still in her mouth. Seeing Cassius, her eyes lit up, followed by a sweet smile.

"Morning, Cass~"

"Did you secretly practice some Kung Fu last night? Even your walking posture has changed!"

[Dakota Fanning Favorability +10, Current Favorability 45]

The favorability number above her head jumped significantly!

Cassius deliberately glanced at Dakota and smiled. "If you're interested, I can teach you a few relaxation techniques."

Dakota paused, then her cheeks flushed slightly, looking down to fiddle with her napkin.

"I don't need that!"

She obviously knew about Kristen going to Cassius yesterday.

Kristen glared at Cassius.

Cassius mentally cried injustice.

He really had learned a few relaxation techniques from the stunt team.

If Dakota was interested, he could teach her.

Where did these two women's minds go!

Dirty-minded girls!

After breakfast, the three returned to their rooms to pack, ready to head to the airport and return to Los Angeles.

While waiting for the elevator in the hallway, Kristen naturally leaned against Cassius, hooking her finger with his.

"Seriously~"

While Dakota was checking her phone, she whispered quickly in Cassius's ear:

"You look so handsome today!"

Cassius looked down at her face close to his, smelling the faint scent in her hair.

He held her hand back, squeezing it gently. "Meaning I wasn't handsome before?"

"Handsome before too!"

Kristen huffed but didn't pull her hand away. "Extra handsome today! Keep it up, Mr. Cass."

On the way to the airport and during the flight, Cassius could vaguely feel more gazes lingering on him than usual.

On the plane, Kristen slept leaning on his shoulder.

Cassius watched the rolling sea of clouds outside the window, feeling the weight of the person relying on him and the continuous optimization within his body. His mood was unprecedentedly comfortable.

Leaving the airport, driving, going home!

As soon as the car stopped steadily in the Beverly Hills garage, before Cassius and Kristen got out, they saw Rob's familiar sedan waiting outside.

Rob was leaning against the hood, holding a folder.

"Looks like your agent is more dedicated than the paparazzi!"

Kristen roasted while unbuckling her seatbelt.

Cassius smiled and got out of the car.

Rob immediately came up to greet him. "Haven't seen you for a few days, you seem to have gotten handsomer, kid!"

As he spoke, he shoved the folder into Cassius's hands.

"Look! Freshly baked revised version!"

Rob's tone was excited. "Communicated with CBS and the producers. They were willing to change! And the changes are quite good!"

Cassius raised an eyebrow in surprise.

So fast?

He took the folder, and Kristen leaned over curiously too.

On the cover of the new script, the character name was still "Han Lee," but the character description beside it had completely changed:

[Han Lee]: A young, handsome Chinese diner owner obsessed with mystical powers.

He is elegant in manner, with a touch of implicit Eastern humor, occasionally revealing wisdom and insight inconsistent with his age.

Han Lee runs a diner in Brooklyn. Seemingly easygoing, he can always give unexpected advice at critical moments.

As a mysterious Oriental, Han Lee is extremely superstitious about various mystical powers: I Ching bagua, tarot cards, even palm reading.

Whenever the diner encounters trouble or needs to make an important decision, he will always "cast a divination" with great solemnity, and the results often bring unexpected comedic effects through sheer coincidence.

Cassius quickly flipped through the revised scenes.

The deliberately funny Chinglish accent was gone.

Replaced by Han Lee using fluent English, occasionally tinged with a charlatan vibe, to deal with Max's sharp tongue and Caroline's naivety.

For example, one scene:

The diner's coffee machine broke. Max complained incessantly, and Caroline was anxious.

Han Lee unhurriedly took out three copper coins, tossed them on the counter a few times, then looked at the result and said to them solemnly:

"The hexagram indicates the Northwest direction. Metal begets Water. One of you go fix that leaking pipe in the storage room back there! Maybe the coffee machine's Qi will flow smoothly!"

Max rolled her eyes and complained:

"So now we not only have to make cupcakes but also moonlight as plumbers and Feng Shui masters?"

And Caroline might skeptically go check.

As a result, while fixing the pipe, they accidentally discovered the real cause of the circuit short...

There was another scene where Han Lee read the palm of a new waiter, telling them seriously:

"Love life is bumpy, but financial fortune is prosperous, especially suitable for working in the food service industry!"

Bluffing the other person completely!

The script retained comedic elements, but the laughter was no longer built on belittling and stereotypes. Instead, it shifted to the "gap moe" (contrast cuteness) and coincidental humor brought by the character's unique cultural background and behavior.

Han Lee transformed from an object of ridicule into a unique existence who was a bit mysterious, a bit cute, and occasionally capable of "divine prophecies."
