Chris's room.

The missing original Mjolnir prop was being wrapped tightly by Chris in several pairs of old jeans and crumpled T-shirts, then stuffed into an unremarkable large gym bag.

Chris looked at the outline of the wrapped hammer and snickered proudly.

He had no idea that Cassius already knew his entire plan.

Chris was still happily clueless!

He was thinking that once they reached Los Angeles, he would unknowingly retrieve it from Cassius and take it home.

The crew had a new hammer anyway!

"Hehe, Cass, sorry about this. You'll be the temporary hammer keeper for now."

Chris muttered to himself, thinking his plan was flawless.

The next day, the crew packed up and prepared to head to the airport.

Sure enough, Chris found Cassius carrying a bulging large gym bag, looking normal, even showing the relaxation of someone about to go home.

"Here, this is it. Just stuff it in your suitcase for me. Thanks, bro!"

Chris handed the bag to Cassius naturally.

Cassius took the bag, weighed it, and felt it. The contents were hard, shaped like a hammer.

It was Mjolnir!

Before he could react, Chris preempted him, pointing into the distance and shouting:

"Hey! Director's calling me! Gotta go! See you at the airport!"

With that, he ran off.

Cassius watched his retreating figure, secretly amused.

You'll be crying later!

He took out his phone and sent a text!

...

The plane landed at Los Angeles International Airport. The familiar humid air and faint smell of exhaust fumes hit them.

Finally leaving that sand-eating desert, everyone on the crew breathed a sigh of relief, and the atmosphere became noticeably livelier.

They lined up to wait for checked luggage.

Chris seemed exceptionally proactive, constantly looking around near the conveyor belt, his eyes occasionally glancing toward Cassius, a smirk of imminent success on his lips.

Cassius looked down at his phone.

Kristen had sent a message a few minutes ago saying she received his text, was almost at the airport, and would wait for him outside.

Luggage started coming out piece by piece.

Cassius quickly found his oversized suitcase.

He hauled the suitcase down.

"I'm here, right by Exit 3. Black car, you'll see it when you come out."

"Just landed. Will come out after getting luggage."

Cassius replied.

"Okay, waiting for you!"

Hanging up, Cassius got his large suitcase. The gym bag containing Mjolnir lay quietly inside.

Chris also got his luggage and was looking around. Seeing Cassius, he immediately winked and made eyes, signaling him not to forget the bag.

How could I forget?

Good brother!

Cassius walked out with the flow of people and soon met up with Chris.

Just as they reached the arrivals hall, sharp-eyed Chris poked Cassius's arm hard, lowering his voice with envy and jealousy:

"Bro, look over there! Your girlfriend is too cool!"

Cassius looked in the direction he pointed. Near Gate 3, Kristen was casually leaning against the hood of her black SUV.

She wore simple jeans, Converse shoes, and a black leather jacket.

Minimal makeup, big sunglasses.

But that cool and dashing star aura made her stand out in the crowd.

Quite a few travelers nearby were already secretly taking photos or pointing.

She saw Cassius too and waved her hand.

"Whoa..."

"It's Kristen!"

"Who is she picking up?"

People from the crew also noticed this scene, casting surprised and envious glances.

Being the man openly dating Kristen was a status symbol in itself in Hollywood.

Chris nudged Cassius with his elbow, his tone sour.

"Alright, you win, buddy. This treatment... If I knew, I'd have asked my wife to pick me up too."

His wife, Elsa Pataky, was also an actress, but obviously didn't have as much buzz as Kristen.

Cassius stumbled a step forward from the nudge.

He took the opportunity to walk a few steps quickly to distance himself from Chris.

Dragging his suitcase, under the focused gaze of everyone, Cassius walked straight towards Kristen.

"Thanks for coming!"

Kristen naturally took his carry-on backpack and looked him over.

"Got a bit tanned!"

Cassius opened the trunk and put the large suitcase in.

Just then, Chris seemed to suddenly remember something, and his face changed drastically!

He rushed over in a dash, pressing down on Cassius's hand which was about to close the trunk, his voice changing pitch in panic:

"Wait! Cass! That bag!"

Bang!

How could Cassius give him a chance to speak!

Without pausing, he slammed the trunk shut!

Chris was sweating with anxiety. He looked at Cassius, then at Kristen who was looking over curiously, and then at the potential paparazzi cameras around. The words stuck in his throat, unable to come out.

He couldn't exactly shout in public: "Hey! Give me back the Mjolnir I stole!"

If he took the gym bag out and the hammer was revealed and photographed by paparazzi, it would be a scandal!

Kristen raised an eyebrow, looking at the two men behaving strangely.

"What bag?"

"Nothing!"

Chris forced a smile uglier than crying, bowing and scraping to Kristen.

"Just some local specialties I asked Cass to bring for me. Cass, I'll contact you later to get them! Definitely will contact you!"

Cassius pretended not to understand, avoiding eye contact with Chris.

Chris was sweating buckets!

Kristen looked at one, then the other, finding it baffling but too lazy to probe. She opened the car door and got into the driver's seat.

"Hurry up, can't park here too long!"

Cassius opened the passenger door and got in.

Kristen started the car. The SUV merged smoothly into traffic, leaving Chris standing alone, watching helplessly as the car carrying the stolen goods sped away, his heart turning cold.

"It's over... it's over..."

Chris wanted to cry but had no tears.

The hammer was with Cassius, and Cassius just left with Kristen. Where was he supposed to go to secretly get it back?

In the car, Kristen asked casually while driving:

"What was up with Chris just now? Being all weird!"

Cassius rubbed his temples, thinking this situation was absurd opening the door for absurd.

"He asked me to bring something special back for him!"

"What special thing?"

Kristen was curious.

"Mjolnir!"

"What?"

Kristen's hand jerked, causing the car to swerve in the lane, immediately eliciting angry honks from behind.

"He stole the production's Mjolnir?"

Kristen quickly steadied the steering wheel, looking at Cassius in disbelief.

"Yup!"

"And he put it in my bag wanting me to bring it back for him!"

Cassius told Kristen about Thor's magical operation.

Kristen was stunned for a few seconds, then burst into laughter, almost driving off the road.

"Oh My God! That idiot! What was he thinking?"
