[The Core Plain challenge]
[0/05 Goals]
After the entire event of being suspended in the air for a while, this time Winston was wondering what type of challenge he would be facing this time. Judging by the previous challenge, Winston was nervous that he would face the same challenge. He took some deep breaths and prepared himself once the airborne experience was over. After opening his eyes and doing some breathing exercises, he said, "Let's do this, I'm ready." Looking to his left, he saw a silhouette figure suspended midair before it dropped and landed with a thud in a crouch.
Winston speculated that the white silhouette was his teammate.
His gaze shifted, and to his surprise, four black silhouettes appeared on the opposite side of the field. Winston was eager to complete the challenge once the ball appeared in the field's center. He was now more confident in his ability; he wanted to test his theory first. He passed the ball to the white silhouette that was standing beside him. The white silhouette moved and trapped the ball and passed it back to Winston. This time the black silhouettes were not waiting for Winston to enter their radar, instead, they moved when Winston touched the ball. The white silhouette quickly moved across the center line into the far left of the field. Winston was astonished and relieved to see that the white silhouette was acting on its own, Winston performed quick dribbling on a black burly silhouette that was in a forward position. The black, burly silhouette lay in ruins after the turn, and Winston marveled at his own surprising agility.
He sprinted forward to another black silhouette with a slide attack, the entire event was fast—the black silhouette intercepted the ball and passed to another black silhouette who trapped the ball. The white silhouette marked the ball from the black silhouette, observing the marking, Winston noticed the white silhouette was copying his moves from the previous match in the core plain challenge. Darting with the ball on the other side of the field, the white silhouette dribbled along the line of the box. it footwork was smooth and agile the next dribble the white silhouette performed broke the ankles of the black silhouette, figuratively of course, running along the left side of the box. The white silhouette passed the ball to Winston, crushed between two black silhouettes. Winston put out his leg, and the ball tapped his inside foot, and it missed the goal by inches.
Clapping his hands in annoyance, Winston shook his head, the white silhouette grabbed Winston by his armpit and assisted him up. Winston was taken aback by how humanlike this silhouette, feeling embarrassed by the opportunity he missed. They both jogged back into their side of the field, Winston glanced over his left shoulder. He noticed that since these black silhouettes could now move freely and his right side was wide open. He shifted farther to his right side of the field, he hoped that the white silhouette would follow suit. Winston intended to bait the black silhouette in the center, then he and the white silhouette would attack, playing a game of tag with the black silhouettes. And between them, one would go back and act as defense, although this plan wasn't a tight one since they were four black silhouettes. And if these four silhouettes decided to strike at once, then his plan wouldn't be effective.
When the ball popped up, the black, burly silhouette, who was in a forward position, sprinted toward the center of the field. While slightly tapping the ball between his feet, behind them were two black silhouettes. As they entered the field, Winston felt his eyes becoming sharp for a second, he saw the black, burly silhouette passing the ball. Before he could pass it, rubbing his eyes—a sharp tune of the ball brushing the field, and the tune lasted for a few seconds, covering his ears. Winston wondered what was going on, when he glanced up, he noticed the white silhouette engaging in marking, but the black silhouette was also agile. He executed elastico and sprinted forward, entering the box, the black, burly silhouette stopped and pressed the ball beneath his cleats. And looked back at Winston, Instead of kicking the ball for a goal, the black, burly silhouette passed the ball back to one of the two black silhouettes who were following the black, burly silhouette. Winston felt like he was being "sonned" by the burly silhouette, chuckling to himself, Winston stared at the burly silhouette and said, "Okay, game on, now you are talking my language,"
Winston and the white silhouette moved to surround the two black silhouettes, aiming to force an error by applying pressure. This strategy resembled Winston's previous challenge match where he easily outmaneuvered the black silhouettes, as if the black silhouettes were watching Winston's previous challenge match, the black silhouette quickly accelerated toward the oncoming ball and passed the ball to the other silhouette who was pacing on the side. Their passes quickly became a tiki-taka style of play.
What Winston didn't notice until later on was that his energy wasn't recovering as he would have expected; he felt his clothes dampening with sweat. The tiki taka went on for a while until the burly silhouette joined in, creating a triangle; the entire episode went on for a couple of minutes and then hours. Of course, the simulation didn't have time and date, so it was hard to pinpoint how long he had been in the simulation.
Seeing Winston's sluggishness, the dark, burly silhouette seemed to smirk from its smooth, faceless form. Dribbled the ball into his waist, twisting his body, it slightly jumped and spin kick the ball with force. Only the cleat and the sound of the ball rang out. And stride toward their side of the field before the dark silhouette passed, and it sized Winston up and down in disappointment at what it was seeing. Winston, pumped and drained, felt the white silhouette support him as he stood tall, realizing he had to conserve his strength. Maybe he doesn't need to rely on himself to score the goals, he use the white silhouette to score goals.
[Plain challenge: 00 : 01]
The white silhouette was agile like Winston and played like Oswin. Patting the white silhouette, giving them a thumbs up. When the ball popped up, inhaling in and out, Winston walked toward the ball, looking at the white silhouette, nodding at the white silhouette. For a brief moment, Winston's eyes focused, revealing lines on the black silhouettes that highlighted their vulnerabilities, and he observed the white silhouette running along the flank. Winston questioned if the white silhouette perceived the same thing he had just seen. Swiftly, the white silhouette sprinted down the left field with the ball, skillfully dribbling it towards the left-side box. The white silhouette immediately dashed with the ball down the left field, maneuvering it expertly until reaching the edge of the box.
Winston didn't wait either; he dashed in a straight line, passing the burly silhouette and the other silhouettes who were positioned as midfielders. They also turned and sprinted after Winston, their goal was to pressure Winston from receiving the ball. As Winston got to the box, he looked back and slipped under the arm of the black silhouette; the white silhouette passed the ball on its left. Winston held the ball under his feet, he watched the burly silhouette, and Winston lifted his hand in a quiet, deliberate motion, beckoning with a gentle curl of his fingers, as though inviting him to come closer.
As the black burly silhouette saw him breathing heavily, it sprinted forward toward Winston, who smirked and flicked the ball through the silhouette, surprising the other one. As they watched the ball sail over their heads, their attempts to react proved too slow; the white silhouette had already positioned itself for a gentle tap with the inside of its foot.
Thwack!
