Chapter 17 - Vital Restoration Complete

Now reaching his limit of exhaustion, his sister has been dragging him for hours, suggesting games non-stop. Sitting on the concrete bench that was set in the center of the theme park. The concrete bench itself featured a beautiful design; in the center of the round bench was a huge, beautiful oak tree, lush with green leaves, swaying like a ballerina in the passing wind. Lying facing up, closing his eyes and with his hands spread out, taking in the fresh air the oak tree provided.

His sister approached holding two ice creams with a huge smirk on her face; she just wanted to continue exploring and play more games. Until her favorite group set up their things. Looking at her watch on her delicate, small hand. "We need to hit more games; we are running out of time." She said, standing up, not wanting to sit down. She slightly kicked her brother's sneaker; who was still seated, he tilted his head up and saw his sister watching him. With her hand on her hip and with a pouting face. With a heavy sigh, Winston shuffled his body.

Just as they were walking toward another game, a familiar voice called his name. When he turned around, a beautiful, familiar face appeared behind him. She was uncertain if the person she named was the same one who often came to her family's bakery. She was relieved that it was Winston.

"Hey Winston, did you find another shop that sells pastries?"

Whipping his head, facing the person who was speaking. "Oh, Busisiwe," with a slight smile. No, I have been occupied with training. Later today, I was going to stop at the bakery.

With a slight smile on her face. "I'm only teasing you; I know you have been busy. I also hardly see Oswin either." Winston's sister cleared her throat. Before Winston could introduce her, she already put out her hand for self-introduction.

"Hi, I'm Anita Daley, Winston's wonderful sister." She proclaimed, "And are you my brother's girlfriend?" Winston slightly slapped the back of his sister's head. Prompting Busisiwe to chuckle.

"Hey big sis, we want to try the rollercoaster ride next, pleeaase." Two adorable boys who seemed to be at the age of eleven or twelve. Both yanking her arms.

"Both of you are too young for it," she pointed at another ride. "I saw the cartoon version over there." Both bolted toward where she was pointing.

"Hey wait for me."

"Oh, nice to meet you; I'm Busisiwe Bowe." She also bolted after them, her speed impressed both Winston and his sister. Looking at each other, his sister walked in front of him.

"We haven't tried that cartoon ride." She pointed in the direction where Busisiwe and her brother bolted.

His sister chucked her backpack onto her back, holding Winston's hand, walked toward the cartoon ride. just like those two brothers. Winston guessed his sister was also a fan of these cartoons. Seeing Busisiwe leaning on the iron gate watching her brothers. The scene at this cartoon rollercoaster was packed with different age groups.

"I didn't know this cartoon was that famous," said Winston, joining Busisiwe on the iron gate.

"Wait, you never watched Ninja of Northern Stars, one of the popular shows." Busisiwe turned her head toward Winston. "They even have popular video games."

"Not to toot my own horn, but I am a pro—at it." She said with a smirk.

"Well, you never played with me, I'm also a pro."

"Beating your sibling doesn't count."

"Beating your siblings doesn't count either."

Laughing and shaking her head. "I'm serious; I play online, with some strangers though. Be real with me, do you actually play games judging by your schedule?"

"Okay, you got me; I never played games. But I'll make time if you show me how to play." Now his focus was on Busisiwe. Her proximity caused Winston's heart to skip a beat. Her smooth beige skin, big brown eyes, naturally full, well-defined, and symmetrical lips. His heart skipped again.

"Tell me when you are free, so I can beat you." She said with a smile on her face. She took out her cell phone, prompting Winston to take out his too. The proximity to Busisiwe and her pleasant coconut fragrance sent Winston into a state of bliss. Her lips, which are quivering, full, and perfectly shaped, captivate him. His eyes shifted up, and they locked eyes. Trying to lean in for a kiss, both of Busisiwe's hands stopped him. She rested her head on Winston's shoulders; she muttered. "We can't do it here; people are watching us."

Winston scanned his surroundings, and all eyes were staring at them with disappointed looks. The area they occupied teemed with children of varying ages.

"No, it's okay, it's the area we are in." She added, she pulled away from Winston's shoulders, "The ride is almost over; we should go."

"We should come back here again, just me and you." Winston said, holding Busisiwe's delicate hands, that he wished to pull her close for a quick kiss. But those piercing eyes he saw early scared him. Finally letting go, he stood there watching her voluptuous hips heading over to the cartoon rollercoaster that was coming to its end.

"Wow, that rollercoaster was amazing, big brother; please take a photo of me," she said, taking out her phone; "I want to show what my friend is missing." Seeing the awkwardness between her brother and Busisiwe, she smirked and tugged her brother close in.

"What happened while I was gone," she glanced back at Busisiwe who was petting her two brothers heads. "C'mon tell me all the details, and don't you dare skip any details?"

"You're noisy." Winston grasped his sister's nose while shaking his head.

"I have to take these two home; we've been here since twelve this afternoon." She added, "Don't forget to visit the bakery."

"I'll call you later today." Anita pinched his hip and turned it.

"What's wrong with you?" Winston said, attempting to move her hand.

Why is she so steadfast about this?

Winston pointed at the group of youths who had the exactly small dolls that were dangling on his sister's backpack; she jerked her head, her expression changed. She darted toward the group and called her brother to pick up his pace. Winston slightly picked up his pace; Winston was so exhausted he wished to go home now. When he turned the corner, a long line formed; it looped near the oak tree. Glancing in his sister's direction, seeing his sister chatting with some people in line. He felt relieved and sat back down in his original posture, but now his thoughts drifted to Busisiwe. He's still preoccupied with thoughts of Busisiwe. After checking the number, he placed his phone on his chest and drifted to sleep.

After a few minutes, his sister woke him up again—tilting his head up again. He noticed his sister with a huge, beaming smile holding some merchandise. Winston groans as he stood up, just when he was getting into the good part of his dream. After done stretching, he glanced at his sister. Who was humming some song while packing the merchandise into her backpack. "Are you ready to go?" Winston said, checking the time on his phone.

"Yeah, let's go; I didn't think they will restock on these sticks. Last time they were all sold out within minutes," she said, setting her backpack on her shoulders.

Winston has never felt this exhausted before, even though he usually spends his time training day in and day out. Perhaps this exhaustion is from his muscles getting some relaxation. As he lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling, the ringing of his phone made him jolt upright. When he read the message, feeling relieved it was his coach, he called him back for some training. And he advised him to get some rest, excited that he was going back into training.

Ding!

Hmm, oh yeah, I was wondering about this core level. stuff are they related to Nethen essence, and Voltage core.

With a disappointed glance at himself, Winston shrugged and continued to undress. Stretching himself, a sudden realization struck him. The exhaustion he felt earlier was no longer there; instead, he felt he had so much energy. He recalled learning that extreme excitement mixed with exhaustion leads to disappearance. Not wanting to mistake his exhaustion and excitement, he quickly went under the covers and closed his eyes.
