Suddenly, Song Lianhe felt an arm wrap tightly around her waist. She was lifted into the air and, in the blink of an eye, found herself standing in a tree.
Her face went pale with fright. She instinctively threw her arms around the man's waist, her cheek bumping against his chest as she squeezed her eyes shut.
Zhou Cangyan raised an eyebrow, a wild smile playing on his lips.
He lowered his head and whispered in her ear, "Don't let go if you don't want to fall."
Although she suspected he did it on purpose, Song Lianhe dared not risk her own safety. She cursed him in her heart, but her hands only clung to him tighter.
The man froze for a moment, then chuckled.
'Still as afraid of death as ever.'
Song Lianhe didn't dare to move. She slowly opened her eyes and glanced down.
The sight made her immediately snap them shut again in terror.
'Oh my god, it's so high!'
"Why did you want to kill Zhou Junlin?"
the man suddenly asked.
