The night was quiet and peaceful, with no Honkai Beast invasions or Death Soldiers.
The defense system within the base was practically non-existent.
Just as Bronya entered the Core Area and needed to personally verify the intelligence, an accident occurred.
Because Project Bunny had been attacked by the Mimic Herrscher while covering Kiana during the day, there was a few-microsecond delay in hacking the internal network.
But it was those few microseconds that were captured by the Changkong Garrison's equipment.
Soon, alarms blared throughout the base, and all the Guard Valkyries rushed to the Core Area.
All entrances and exits were completely sealed; those inside were trapped like rats.
Realizing her mistake, Bronya's expression changed drastically as she quickly mounted Project Bunny.
"Boom!"
Since the way she came in was blocked, she had no choice but to fire the heavy cannon, blasting a hole through the wall.
Just as Bronya emerged, a Valkyrie Squad arrived and spotted the infiltrating Silver Wolf.
A green-haired Valkyrie dressed provocatively shouted, "Catch her! There's a traitor!"
Immediately, the nine Valkyries in the squad fired their weapons in unison.
In a flash, smoke from the specialized anti-Honkai Beast firearms drifted through the air.
Almost all the splashing bullets struck Project Bunny's body.
Bronya didn't notice while fleeing, but a bullet hit her calf, causing her to let out a muffled groan.
Blood quickly began to flow from her pant leg.
Bronya turned pale, and her speed slowed significantly.
"I have an S-Rank Valkyrie's pass. Please stop your attack."
Bronya said, enduring the pain.
