He was going to take one step at a time. Now that he had broken through, he knew he still had a lot to do. Then he thought of the other scripture — the Brand Seal Scripture.
This scripture felt like an evil technique no matter how he looked at it. It was basically a way of enslaving people. That was all. But it was exactly one of the things he needed. He knew since he had been young that he couldn't trust anyone, and he still remembered the thought that was forced into his mind when he learned this technique in the space: "The loyal need no chains. The disloyal need no freedom."
The scripture itself felt like an evil technique used to create loyalty. First, the technique included three processes. First, you create a brand by yourself. Then you imprint the brand on the person's soul. After that, all the branded person's actions become like a law that cannot be disobeyed. For every cultivation stage, the scripture adds more abilities. Creating the brand is the first step, but it also requires using your own soul as a medium to create the brand. This way, you can communicate with whoever you have branded without even speaking, and they will never betray you. Any attempt to destroy the brand will lead to instant death.
But creating the brand is very difficult. It involves taking a part of your soul and weaving it into the brand. It sounds simple, but it is extremely difficult. You must have a strong soul or get soul-nourishing treasures to nourish the soul after the separation. But getting any soul treasure is very hard. The only one he knows is the soul-nourishing pill, which is mainly used by Core Formation experts when they want to break through to Nascent Soul. These pills are rare and obtaining them is hard as they are mostly auctioned with exorbitant prices.
"I can afford it right now, but finding them is another issue."
He knew that with the spirit stones he had in the ring, it should be easy for him to buy them. But their rarity was the problem, and every time they appeared, everybody fought tooth and nail for them.
"Well, I will take it one step at a time. My focus should be breaking through to the Foundation Establishment realm and growing stronger."
Thinking back, he realized he was now much stronger than before.
