Gu Chenyu walked into the study, back at home.
Bleeding hand in his pocket, he sat down grabbing a first aid kit and starting wrapping his wound, when the door opened slowly—showing a tiny round hair in braided pigtails and two round eyes.
Gu Chenyu immediately hid his hands in his pocket.
"Daddy Chen" RuiRui called out, "I'm here" Gu Chenyu replied, softening his expression a bit.
RuiRui walked into the room, and looked at Gu Chenyu.
"I'm sorry I couldn't bring her home" he said to her.
"Who tooke her away?" She asked.
"Just some bad man, but don't worry he won't harm her" he said to RuiRui.
"Are you sure Mommy Lin is safe?" RuiRui asked.
"A hundred percent guaranteed, but we just have to find out" he said to her.
"Daddy Chen why do you smell like that place I would never go back to" she said.
Gu Chenyu paused and then looked at her, his brows furrowed.
"What smell?" He asked her.

"It's okay" he said to her.

"It's a small injury"he said showing her his undressed wound.
"What bloody room?" He asked.
RuiRui paused and she turned her face away, "No questions Daddy Chen, you promised that you would be alright before Mommy comes back" she immediately changed the subject.
Gu Chenyu noticed the fear that passed her eyes when he asked about it.
Suddenly the door opened and Pei Shao walked in catching his breath.
"I didn't even know when you zoomed off without me" he said catching his breath when he noticed RuiRui standing there.
"Hello Uncle Shao" she greeted.
"Oh it's my little peach" he immediately smiled and then carries her in his arms.
"Put me down, I'm a big girl"she pouted.
"You little smart button, you know it's adult talk" he said.
"Daddy Chen doesn't say anything" she frowned.
"He keeps telling me, that he would find Mommy Lin and that she's safe, but I want real information" she said.
Gu Chenyu's eyes brightened and he couldn't help but wonder what Shen Rui was really made of.
"I'm sorry you can't fool Uncle with that cute smile" he said to her, then he opens the door and looks at Shen Rui.
"I owe you one" he touched her little nose and dropped her outside the door and closed it.
Gu Chenyu looked at him, and continued dressing his wound when Pei Shao suddenly blew up.
"I might know where your little wifey is, because I have a lead" he said showing Gu Chenyu the music note.
Gu Chenyu looks at the note and everything seemed to freeze.
